Pacific Harbour Villas

Hi I booked this room at 1.15 on a Saturday as I had thought I had been let down on my confirmed accommodation with another provider. I was charged 250.00. 30 minutes later I was told my previous booking was fine. There had been I mix up. I immediately went back to Pacific Harbour and they refused me any refund. They were not fully booked and I hadn’t entered the room other than to open the door. The room itself was dark and smelt really bad. I don’t think it had been used for a long time. It was also dated, very small and the one chair I did see was badly stained. Really ripped off by this provider.

Friendly staff clean rooms and a welcoming environment, they allowed me to check in early after having unexpected mishaps, they helped me with my bags as they saw i wasn't in the condition to be moving myself. Staff was a great help, recommending spots to visit while in the area, I highly recommend coming here

We stayed for a night. The rooms are dated with a capital D. They are clean, but could do with a major upgrade. Does the job, but a basic 3 star stay. The lady at the counter was nice. Location wise, you would be better off staying at Hahei if visiting Cathedral cove and nearby attractions.

Extremely dated, overpriced, shower was useless, we travel widely and this was totally overrated .. fine as a basic motel but that is all

We booked a 2 bedroom villa and paid a lot for the extra room only to find that we had a living area with beds squeezed into it and one bedroom. This is a place that needs an update and a big tidy up. The gardens are damp and overgrown and the staircase up to the villa was hard to navigate safely because of a pile of vegetation at the base. A big disappointment.

We booked a room overlooking the garden. It smelt like it was locked up for a while as it smelt damp. We asked to change rooms. The reception was happy to move us to an apartment and apologized. We were happy with that, thanks to her for that. The new room was lovely with great views. Just needed work on the dusting side of things I.e light shade was so very dusty it rained dust when I hit it with my head. Great stay and we will be back.

We spent two nights here. Villa was well layed out and very pleasant with the high ceiling, lots of windows and a shady deck. The gardens have a tropical feel and it is positioned on the esturey. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. It was greatly appreciated to be able to have our dog with us. Two minutes walk to two nice restaurants and the little cluster of shops. Highly recommended. We will be back. |

This place is well and truly overpriced. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom taps needed new washers as they leaked, kitchen lights broken and hunting from the fittings, carpet very tired. We had to ask for more tea, coffee and toilet paper on our 3 night stay.||Went for breakfast on our last morning, when we came back at 10am our room was already being cleaned and we hadn't even checked out yet. They wouldn't let us clean our teeth before we left! ||Location was great, but that's about it..
