Our travel agent apparently booked us in to this a place via Expedia. We had requested a ground floor apart ant or villa but Expedia booked us a first floor apartment which was 2 bedroom but no kitchen. We arrived latish and the on site manager very kindly swapped us to a ground floor villa. However, it had NO dining table and chairs. Even though it had a full kitchen with full stove etc for preparation of your own meals. Seemed ridiculous to us. Very standard and very much 3 star. Nice outlook and place has obviously had some recent paint/upddate. But villa number 8 should be avoided if you want to sit at a table and enjoy your breakfast. You’ll be eating off your lap on the sofa.

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience during our one-night stay. While the staff member who greeted us on arrival was initially welcoming, our experience deteriorated later that evening when we requested assistance with the television. The staff member attended twice as the TV was not working; however, on both occasions she was rude, stated that we had interrupted her dinner, and behaved unprofessionally by slamming the door and throwing the remote down. The TV was never fixed. Upon reflecting the following morning, we were quite shocked by this behaviour. We had hoped to address the issue in person, but the office was closed, leaving us no option but to return the key via the drop box. Additionally, upon closer inspection, the room was very outdated and not clean. While we were grateful to secure accommodation during a very busy period when little was available in Coromandel, this stay did not meet acceptable standards. We would not choose to stay here again nor recommend it to others.

Oh my goodness I’ve stayed at some bad places but this is BAD BAD! Stay away! Yes decor is a bit dated but the worst thing by far was the service.. TV and internet was not working after hours and when politely ringing reception twice to try and get it sorted, the lady was extremely rude, slamming the door on her way out of our room and death staring us for interrupting her dinner. Sadly after all this rigmarole, TV issue was still not sorted and upon ringing again, was ignored. Would not recommend 😅

Hi I booked this room at 1.15 on a Saturday as I had thought I had been let down on my confirmed accommodation with another provider. I was charged 250.00. 30 minutes later I was told my previous booking was fine. There had been I mix up. I immediately went back to Pacific Harbour and they refused me any refund. They were not fully booked and I hadn’t entered the room other than to open the door. The room itself was dark and smelt really bad. I don’t think it had been used for a long time. It was also dated, very small and the one chair I did see was badly stained. Really ripped off by this provider.

Friendly staff clean rooms and a welcoming environment, they allowed me to check in early after having unexpected mishaps, they helped me with my bags as they saw i wasn't in the condition to be moving myself. Staff was a great help, recommending spots to visit while in the area, I highly recommend coming here

We stayed for a night. The rooms are dated with a capital D. They are clean, but could do with a major upgrade. Does the job, but a basic 3 star stay. The lady at the counter was nice. Location wise, you would be better off staying at Hahei if visiting Cathedral cove and nearby attractions.

We booked a 2 bedroom villa and paid a lot for the extra room only to find that we had a living area with beds squeezed into it and one bedroom. This is a place that needs an update and a big tidy up. The gardens are damp and overgrown and the staircase up to the villa was hard to navigate safely because of a pile of vegetation at the base. A big disappointment.
