Great Location. The train station is just a 5 minute walk away from the main entrance. Has two convenience stores nearby and the food options right next to the hotel are pretty good! Has a slightly added sense of security since they lock the main entrance at 11.30pm (only accessible if you have a room key)

Best location right on Myeongdong door step. The hotel was in a great location, nice big room with a huge bed. staff were helpful if we asked for anything. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. All in all a nice stay would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Pacific Hotel for a total of 6 nights. On the first night, we were given Room 538 (double bed), but there were incredibly loud booming noises throughout the night. It was impossible to sleep – the whole room was literally vibrating. After spending the second night in Busan, we returned and chose to upgrade to a twin-bed room for more comfort. During check-in, we gave feedback about the terrible first night and asked if the hotel could offer a small discount on the upgrade fee as a reasonable gesture of goodwill. Instead of addressing our request with even basic courtesy, the night shift manager displayed an appalling level of arrogance. He refused to listen, cut us off when we spoke, and made no effort to apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience we experienced. When we asked what would happen if the new room also had noise issues, he raised his voice and told us to leave the hotel immediately — at 10pm. This was not just unhelpful — it was intimidating, hostile, and unprofessional in the extreme. Two female guests being told to leave at night, over a reasonable request, is beyond unacceptable. His demeanor was arrogant and dismissive, as though guests’ concerns were an inconvenience to him rather than his responsibility. The lack of respect, empathy, and professionalism from the night manager destroyed our trust in this place. No guest should ever be treated with such arrogance or hostility, and I hope the management takes serious action to prevent this from happening again.

It is at most a 3 star hotel, I don't know who would have rated this a four-star hotel. They don't even have amenities in the bathroom such as a toothbrush or anything like that. They don't even have glasses to drink from in the bathroom. They will give you plastic cups if you ask in the lobby. Plus, the room faces another room which is a couple of meters away, even though I booked a hotel room with mountain few. . Also, the kettle is those plastic electric one used 20 years ago. Yes, inside is plastic.

A bed like a bouncing castle. We had booked and paid for five nights but ended up leaving after three, in spite of knowing we would get no refunds. I hate giving bad reviews, so to start with the good, the staff at the Pacific are friendly and attentive, and you are going to be hard pushed for a better location. Just the surrounding streets hold a plethora of great food options and interesting shops. Plus, you are just around the corner from one of the train stations. That in mind, it is a darn shame about the state of the rooms and certain other aspects of the experience. Put blunty, we (travelled as a couple) both travel extensively for work and this is by far the least four-star hotel with four stars either of us have ever stayed at. The bed was narrow for two Europeans, but that wasn't really the problem. The issue was that it was made with springs wound in such a way that any movement from one would send the other bouncing around like an involuntary trip in a bouncing castle. We ended up taking turns on the really narrow couch-like thing in the room to get some sort of shut-eye. Add the fun of very poor soundproofing and you are set for some rough nights. Also, for a supposedly four-star hotel, there is a surprising lack of in-room amenities, a ledge in and out of the bath/shower that must claim a fair number of casualties a year, a safe that looks sturdy but didn't close, odd placements of things like toilet paper holders (does double as yoga exercise to try and get to it), and many other niggly details that detract from your overall experience. So, sadly, I think that the overall advice would be to try other options if you are looking to stay in the area. I can't imagine you'd get much worse if you are planning to spend something in the same price range.

Smaller rooms than USA, but fully functional. Great shower water pressure, bidet/toilet, useful desk, both 220 and 110 outlets in living area. Comfy bed, ok storage, small fridge, in room safe, good A/C. Breakfast was included in our room rate, but it seems it was optional since prices were posted: 25,000 Korean ~$18.50. good selection of Asian and western options. City center, easy walking to ATM, subway, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants.

Very good location. Decent roomOnly drawback was that it's not a smart TV, no Netflix, can't cast. Staff not able to loan a HDMI cable. Will definitely use back the same hotel due to location. Parking available but chargeable every day.

Very Disappointing Experience at Pacific Hotel Seoul I stayed at Pacific Hotel Seoul (Booking #1651508000169102) on August 1, 2025, and I am very disappointed with my experience. The hotel was cluttered with mattresses and luggage outside, creating a messy and unprofessional environment. The location was inconvenient, and the service was poor. Despite arriving early, I was forced to wait for hours in a crowded lobby full of unattended luggage, with no assistance or accommodation. The hotel staff demanded extra payment for early check-in, which felt exploitative given the already high room prices. Overall, I felt disrespected and uncomfortable. I do not recommend this hotel and urge management to improve their service and facilities.
