We always enjoy eating here. We have roasted duck noodles (dry) every time and for something different we had the fried tofu dish with garlic and onion. Great service, great food, great atmosphere 👌

After reading about this classic for so long, I finally went and it did not disappoint. The roast duck is succulent and so is the bbq pork. We got the roast pork with mushroom and tofu on rice lunch menu based on a review photo - even though it was outside the lunch deal - and it was yum. The snowpeas were delicious. The fried quail might be my favourite item we ordered - so flavourful and perfectly fried. Make sure you have a healthy serving of white rice to go with it. Quick service. Will definitely come back again.

Great food with quick service. Love the sweet and sour pork, fried white bait, claypot mushrooms with sea cucumber and the stuffed scallops.

Dining Experience @ Pacific Seafood BBQ House. . Despite having expanded their store footprint and opening branches, Pacific Seafood BBQ House still draws a queue at meal times, and finding a seat remains a struggle, a testament to their immense popularity. . The Stir-Fried Kai-Lan Chinese Broccoli (AUD $27) features fresh crunchy kai-lan / Chinese broccoli, stir-fried with garlic. Carries bright vegetal sweet spice flavour. We'll probably never live down the fact that we missed adding on beef to this dish, for just AUD $2 more. . The Salt & Pepper Calamari Squid (AUD $30) has large bouncy chunky pieces of calamari squid, coated in a spiced batter, tossed with salt, white pepper, garlic, and green chili. This has addictive salty savoury spice sweet flavour, yummy. . The Trio Platter (AUD $42) allows customers to select 3 different varieties of their roast meats. We opted for Roast Duck, Siu Yuk / Roast Pork Belly, and Soy Sauce Chicken. . The Roast Duck was excellent, with a thin crisp skin and tender juicy roast duck meat, carrying smoky meaty salty savoury fatty flavour. . The Siu Yuk / Roast Pork Belly had a crunchy firm pig skin, with tender bouncy texture to the roast pork belly, and a meaty savoury salty flavour. . The Soy Sauce Chicken, garnished with spring onions, was springy juicy to the bite, with succulent meaty sweet savoury salty herbal flavour. . The Ginger & Spring Onion Crab Noodles (AUD $154) packs a full-flavoured punch. The large meaty crab sits over a base of crisp spring onions and springy egg noodles, tossed in a thick ginger and spring onion gravy. Infused with salty savoury sweet herbal grainy flavour, this was addictive and decadent all at once.

Great Chinese food as always. Popped in for a quick lunch. Had beef hor fun with egg sauce and roast pork with tofu mushroom. This place has been around for close to 20 years if not more. Famous for roast meats too.

Google
if you're looking for authentic chinese food in Richmond, Victoria, then look no further. This is located on Victoria Street, with the tram stop nearby, and lots of parking available on the side streets. Large restaurant, and usually you will get a table here at lunch time. Food comes out relatively quickly. They'll give extra homemade chilli if asked. The prices are very reasonable for a lunch meal, under $20 a meal with generous portions.

Been a long time since I’ve been back to Pacific House and when we popped by without a booking they were buzzing. We were seated quickly. Ordered satay beef with vermicelli in a clay pot, deep fried pork ribs with salt and chilli and some xo mince beans. Food came out very quickly and was tasty.

The roast pork hits the spot! The skin was very light and crispy and the pork was well seasoned.

Yelp
This place really did feel like one of those authentic Hong Kong restaurants that you find scattered about the streets of Kowloon. In fact this is certainly one of those rather no-frills restaurants that I absolutely adore. The other thing that stands out is that you have the meat hanging in the windows, and the fish in the tanks, something that you see all over the place in Hong Kong. Oh, and it isn't all that pricey either, though it certainly is quite popular.

Yelp
Always a fave both this one and the one on Toorak Rd. Amazing Peking Duck, good priced wine and the service is impeccable for a low priced venue. Tables always busy, so get in early and enjoy the ambience of an asian restaurant that is not too over the top. The duck is just right, and sauce is amazing. Well worth a visit.

Yelp
At the price point can't beat it for value. Near best with quality, at super cheap prices. Cheap flavourful well cooked seafood, what more do u want?

Yelp
Its an institution from what I've been told, and I would rate it a solid option, but there are better in Melbourne. Good for roast meats, and pretty good for fresh seafood. Pricing is good, although their seafood is slightly higher than average compared to other places. And they really shouldn't be able to charge higher than average, because the dining environment needs a renovation. Good for a casual lunch, wouldn't come here if you have a date night or special occasion to celebrate.

Yelp
I don't pick many Chinese spots but B's friend wanted Peking duck and Pacific Seafood BBQ House is one of the go to spots for roasted meats. They have a second location in South Yarra. We dropped in on a holiday Friday for dinner (6:30pm). The service is surprisingly good and food comes out extremely quickly. The walls are lined with special dishes and prices for seafood. The menu isn't as big as normal (a nice change) but it's split into roast dishes, entrees, soup, crocodile meat, chicken, duck, beef, pork, clay pot, seafood, vegetable/bean curd, fried noodles and rice. - Soup - complimentary bowls of delicious root vegetable soup. Reminded me of my grandma's soup. - 4x Steamed rice ($3.50/person) - wow, I didn't realize they charged each person for rice. You get a pot and it's refillable but that's still highway robbery. - Peking duck ($32.00 AUD) - it's been awhile since I've had Peking duck but this was excellent. Not fatty at all but tender, moist and a light, crispy skin. Delectable. - 8x Jumbo oysters ($3.50 each) - these were cooked. Almost had an eggy texture. Good but I'll still take fresh oysters 'errday of the week. - Barramundi ($61.60 AUD) - they charge $28.00/0.5 kg. Our fish weighed in at 1.10 kg. Pretty hefty and pricey but sometimes, you just got to splurge. We got it steamed in a black bean sauce. Tender and flaky but I wanted more oomph from the sauce. - Snow peas sprouts with minced garlic ($24.00 AUD) - these are always delicious but pricey. Here's no different. It's solid Chinese food but you're paying a premium for it. Cash only.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place for years and years and the food is simply divine! Its a really good place to come for some delicious food with family or friends for any occasion, or just for a simple meal. Ive had birthdays and catch ups and the food has consistently remained the same. However, it can get quite busy, so it's always good to book or come after 7pm for dinner. Due to the busy nature, the service isn't ideal, but I've had far worst service at other places. If you do come with a group, try their crab noodles and fried chicken ribs.....DELICIOUS!

Yelp
Ordered an array of dishes at this nice Chinese restaurant. Firstly some soup came. The soup was standard but refreshing. The char siu and siu yuk (barbequed pork and roast pork) came next. Standard as well although cooked well with good flavour. The claypot dou fu (bean curd) came next and that was one of the best dishes of the night. Very memorable with great flavours in this dish. The rest included a steamed barramundi for $28 for 1/2 a kilo just so-so. No real flavour just that fishy taste, good with rice. The beans with pork nuggets were the second best dish, very good flavour. The sweet and sour pork and crispy sweet and sour beef were just so-so. nothing special Overall the meal was average. A little disappointing, the Pacific Seafood in South Yarra is much better.

Yelp
Back here again. It's not fancy but it certainly delivers. Good solid Chinese. Had chicken, scallops, eggplant and sundry other dishes. Nothing is spectacularly good here but it's always solid. Service is brisk and efficient. Fitout and decor is basic. Love it every time.

Yelp
Simply one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to! It's daunting when you walk in; people running around, people always waiting for tables, noisy, food smells everywhere (good, don't worry), food on display up front, and walls papered with giant colored sheets showing the 'menu' written in Mandarin (I think...) and markedly less written in English. My personal favorite way to go is with a fun group not fussed with new food, and a few bottles of wine (since they charge a minimal corkage). Go with tons of entrees to share: BBQ quail, crispy pork, duck san choi bow, pickled veggies...those are the best, but it goes on and on. Whatever you do, get something with duck. This is one of the best places I've ever eaten it! For an adventurous, food, drink and silly stories loud so that you can hear over everyone else, this is your place. Go before dinner rush really starts or you might wait a while.

Yelp
A really good Cantonese restaurant in Richmond - comparable in quality to what you'd typically see in Hong Kong. They have a good range of dishes with a heavy focus on seafood, as well as their superb BBQ offerings. This place is always busy and justly so - the food is great. The restaurant itself has been updated a bit recently but it's a very casual place in the finest "couldn't give a stuff" Hong Kong tradition. Thoroughly recommended.

Yelp
Great food but be prepared to wait (it's worth it). A lot has already been said about this place, so my advice to you: be a little adventurous with the menu and you are unlikely to be disappointed. Save your ol' faithful Chinese go to meals for some other place.

Patrick R.

Yelp
The place is now always drafty from the AC and the roast meats are served cold.

Yelp
Killer chinese food. We went there for the Crab noodles, since my brother raves about it all the time. Too bad for me that at that day they ran out of the Mud crab, leaving only the Alaskan Snow crab which is much more expensive, so we skipped it. Next time for sure. Since I'm told that the portion was big, we only ordered two dishes for 4 people, Pork ribs with mandarin sauce and beef brisket claypot. We also served a complimentary soup with a really delicious broth that reminds me of pork spareribs soup that my grandma use to make back home. The Beef brisket was full with tender fatty meat with some baby bok choy and tofu skin stewed inside a clay pot. Beef was flavorful and the brown sauce that it came with work wonders to your steamed rice. The pork spareribs was boneless, and crispy fried with sweet and tangy sauce that I cant really get enough of. Pacific Seafood BBQ, even without your crab noodle, I was thoroughly satisfied. We'll be back.

food are soooooo yummy~~ serves out very quick, so don't need to wait for ages for a dish..... service very fast ~~~ but a bit crowded
