Leave!! They charged me $125 just to look at my screen and state the obvious that it didn't work they did not even do anything then tried convince me to buy a screen for almost 650 more crazy work !! I went to EXPRESS AUDIO for a second opinion & Roy is the best!! they checked it for free! And yes it was my screen but they were so nice and did it for free!! then said if I come back they can change it for $100 go to EXPRESS AUDIO!!!

10/10 would recommend. George from pacific sounds is very honest and knowledgeable. Has done numerous of my friends and my vehicles and kills it every time. Doesn’t try to upsell you on things you don’t need and will let you know what he thinks will be best for your needs. I have gotten countless amount of comments on my truck and boat with people saying “this boat is so loud and so clear” “ I could hear your boat from 6 boats down” etc.. ask for advice and give him an idea of what your looking for and he will nail it on the head ! 🔊🤟🏼

George installed my new complete sound system and speaker's and upgraded my navigation system in late Jan but unfortunately I kept having connectivity issues with my iPhone. No fault of Pacific Sound and George. I went back several times for him to try to fix it. He even offered to switch my Alpine to JVC. Which he did at no cost. I did not like the JVC so he was able to switch it back to Alpine. He worked on it at least four or five times me coming back-and-forth. He was so patient and kind. I definitely recommend Pacific Sound and George to do all your stereo and Car system needs. He is amazing.! I am so happy with my new navigation system

George and his team did a custom stereo install on my 1996 Mercedes. George answered tons of questions and made several recommendations to integrate a new system into my car. Install came out perfect and I highly recommend Pacific Sound!

I walked in there to get a new 10" kicker since mine had blown out. The guy I spoke to not only helped me make sure it fit, but also installed it for free and helped me configure the knobs on my amp so the new one would last longer. I got a new kicker and a spacing ring for $146 and was very happy about it since he was the one who wanted to help my setup last. The entire process lasted no more than 20 minutes too. Super cool guys, super cool store, super cool support. Go to these guys if you need help with your car's sound system.

Called to get an install price and made an appointment. The quote was similar but not cheaper than Express Audio. Once I got there, the price DOUBLED. I walked away, I am done working with companies who show no integrity.

Went in to talk options for 2nd gen toyota tacoma, and the owner was so chill that I ended up getting a new Kenwood deck installed right then, only took an hour. VERY clean work and great customer service. Thank you 🙏

The staff is friendly and informative. I've need an entire new sound system in my Chevy TRAX. They ordered one part and had the job done in one day. The sound is beautiful. I attend a lot of concerts so having good sound is important. The old stereo and speakers were in horrible shape. I couldn't believe it when they showed me. George did a really nice job on a car that always gives the stereo guys trouble for some reason. Love how the car sounds and he priced matched the subs I got. I would recommend this business. He was upfront and communicated with me to let me know what was going on. He also fixed my door. A bolt had came out of the handle and he fixed while he had it apart.

On time, impeccable workmanship. Clean store with chairs for customers who wait. We had two dash cams installed. Both turned out absolutely beautifully. Owner is very kind and friendly, made my family feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend.

Had them install an amplifier/subwoofer in my truck and they were friendly and did a clean install. The only downside is that they didn't tune the amplifier and sounded HORRIBLE! Also,the price for the install was a little high but everything is expensive recently.

I was searching for a shop to reprogram my key fob and install a side view camera in my FJ Cruiser. I found Pacific Sound using Google, and after a quick call, I stopped by. I was given a fair price, and decided to have the work done. I also decided to have a new stereo installed. The work was done super quickly and with skill. I love my new stereo and side view camera! Had my stereo replaced in my Subaru. Upgraded to a touch screen. They said they could keep the original usb outlet and backup camera and speaker for Bluetooth speaking. When picking up the car he said he couldn't connect usb so he had a usb plug sticking out the center console. He had to install an aftermarket Bluetooth speaker because he also couldn't connect the existing one. The backup camera never lined up the same. I wish I would have gone to the dealership to get a replacement. I also wouldn't be upset about this if we were told up front that they wouldn't be able to install it with existing outlets and such but he assured us he would be able to.

I bought a used car with an upgraded stereo in it. I thought it was malfunctioning for sure, turns out I was just unfamiliar with the modern system. George took the time to show me how to operate the system properly and it turns out it sounds pretty darn good. He didn't charge me a dime. Thanks George!

George took good care of me. He sold me a new single-DIN receiver and installed my old JBL speakers and amp. I couldn't be happier.

I give three stars for receiving great customer service. The only thing I'm flabbergasted about is that they charged me almost $900 for remote start on my car and it wouldn't even have the same key fob and it would turn off as soon as I unlocked the car. I called my dealership and they gave me a total of $336 including tax. They gave me a brand new key fob from the manufacturer with remote start installed it also doesn't turn off when I unlock it. I really think this place is a rip off and they have some outdated equipment.

They guy there was very friendly and helpful. My daughter needed her car wired. They worked quickly and the price was reasonable. He also helped with some recommendations for my vehicle as well.

I walked into Pacific Sound on Desert Palm Dr on 6/18/2019 in the latter part of the afternoon. I had brought my 1974 VW Thing which I had allowed my mechanic to do the installation of my brand new audio system (that was my mistake). The system sounded horrible. George greeted me on that Tuesday and we both took a look at what I had going on with the system. He knew he and his team would have to basically de-install/RE-install all of it and hope that he could get it to work properly. I left the car with him and they got to work on it before I even left the building. Wednesday, I received a call from George mid-morning letting me know the work was done (much faster than I thought possible)! I picked it up yesterday and can't even begin to describe how great of a job the Pacific Sound team did on the audio - it sounds amazing! I would highly recommend Pacific Sound for all of your audio systems. Kind, honest, quick and reasonably priced - they ROCK!!!

I took my vehicle to Pacific Sound on the recommendation of two family members. I was so impressed with George and his team. The shop is clean and running like a precision watch! George quickly assessed what was wrong with a brand new radio installed elsewhere and corrected the issue in less than 30 minutes for a very fair price. I wholeheartedly recommend Pacific Sound for any of your stereo system needs, repairs. George and his team are honest, fair and efficient with an eye for attention to detail.

update 1 year later, my passenger door no longer locks or unlocks now i have to reach over and manually lock or unlock the passenger door. also they broke my piller when they hid the wires to the valet switch by the rear view mirror so the piller is in my truck because it no longer clips into place because they broke the clips. i pulled out the alarm so now i have no alarm.

When a victory speaker went out (and of course out of warranty) I had sticker shock at what the dealer quoted me I happened to see this shop, and went in. He did the replacement for a fraction of dealer cost and replaced 2 speakers in less than an hour right away, without having to come back!,! I love using local independent shops!!

These guys do it all, radio, nav, tint, antennas etc , George is a standup guy, gives affordable prices, so far he's worked on 4 cars for me 2 being classic cars and the other 2 were SUV's he managed to squeeze me in last minute for a tint job bc I have a hectic schedule so I appreciate that, Highly Recommend! I usually don't take time to write reviews, but I had such a negative experience with Jorge at Pacific Sound I wanted potential customers to be aware before doing business here. I purchased a Viper Alarm system for $689 and paid $200 for the install in July 2021. Two months later in September 2021 a car accidentally backed up into my car, and I noticed my alarm would start to go off intermittently. This would happen when I was in the car when the alarm was disarmed and it would also happen when I was not in the car when the alarm was armed. I called Jorge to ask if he could take a look at the sensors of the alarm since it was not working properly. He quickly got me in for an appointment and confirmed there was nothing wrong. When I left his shop I noticed that my dash cams were no longer receiving power, nor was my USB cell phone charger. I had my dash cams installed by another vendor and quickly called Jorge to let him know of the new problem he caused. The wiring that powers my dash cams and USB cell phone charger was located next to the wiring of the car alarm and I let Jorge know it might have accidentally been unplugged when they were checking the alarm. When I brought my car back, Jorge unplugged and replugged the wiring to my dash cam, which powered it back on for 30 seconds before it failed. I brought my car back a third time in the same day and he unplugged and replugged the power once again. It worked temporarily and once I started driving it once again failed. I was frustrated because I brought my car to have the alarm checked that he installed, and now he caused the problem of my dash cams and USB charger to no longer work. When I asked him to make this right, he pointed the finger at the other vendor who installed my dash cam and said they used cheap wiring. Jorge said he would charge me $100 to repair the wiring for the dash cam. At this point I became frustrated because I brought my car in for one problem, the alarm, and while that was being checked, Jorge caused a problem with my dash cam that I did not have before and wanted to charge me to replace the wiring. I was disappointed with the unprofessional service he provided and asked for a refund on the alarm I purchased from him for $889 total, $689 for alarm & $200 for install. He said he doesn't give refunds but offered to buy the alarm from me for $300, what a robbery. I agreed to this nasty deal so I could be done with this subpar businessman Jorge and use the $300 to go back to the vendor who installed my dash cams and have it done correctly. Future Pacific Sound customers beware, and be cautious of coming here for your car audio needs. You might come in to have something looked at or installed and leave with a new problem you didn't have before you came in. Jorge should be ashamed of himself for causing problems that were nonexistent before I came to him and wanting to charge me to repair the problems he caused with my dash cams. If I could rate Jorge and Pacific Sound 0 stars I would, they are truly 0 star worthy . -Jacob Santiago

I was recently in the market for a rearview camera for my car. I stopped into Pacific Sound and spoke with George. He's a great guy, knowledgeable and quite patient (most important to an old guy like me). The price was fair and the workmanship excellent. I did return a day later for a fine adjustment by the technician and was back on my way in 15 minutes. Superb customer service and I would highly recommend Pacific Sound.

Senior's Don't waste your money took my car in total time spent on troubleshooting my stereo system 10mins and I had to supply the fuse $65 for 10mins of work it's not rocket science!!!

I called and they got me in same day. I wanted to fix some cables that were loose on my aux connector that the previous owner had installed. He told me he could just replace the whole thing with bluetooth and mic included and got it done in 45 minutes. Totally recommend them.

This place is amazing! They have been installing my husbands sound systems since he was a teen and they installed mine a year ago! Just recently I had my jeep serviced at jessup and they disconnected my sound system! I went into pacific sound and they reconnected no questions asked! I have recommended them to everyone I know! The best in the entire valley that's for sure! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Jorge has done four systems for me never no problems. Very professional he knows his shit. Listen to the man. Hands down has me slapping all the way home yes sir.

It's been about three months now since I got a under seat 12" sub with box, head unit and back up camera installed. So far everything works great, subs sound awesome and camera works great. They're very helpful with everything.

I had a New Pioneer System installed earlier this year, by another Company but had continual problems of power shutting off, plus my Sirius radio was not working or properly installed. I was not having success with getting the issue resolved with the prior Vendor. We recently moved to Cathedral City, so I asked the few people that I knew and ironically 2 separate individuals referred me, to Sound City. I went in and met George, was impressed with his analysis, and synopsis of what the problem could be. They provided me a quote at 9:15 AM, and I left my vehicle understanding that they would squeeze it in to their already busy Saturday schedule of this July 4th Holiday weekend. Pacific Sound (George) called me @ 10:35 AM and notified me that my vehicle was ready, and I was back in possession, and driving by 11:30 AM. Pacific Sound fixed what a previous Vendor should have completed. I received fast, efficient, professional service that included rewiring my main electrical to the radio, Sirius antenna installed inside my vehicle, and the Sirius adapter that belongs in my radio, a New USB Port on my Dash and I am very satisfied with the $235.00 I paid for parts and labor.

So! this might be an unusual review but I really like these people. I wanted some holes drilled (for a couple of antennas) in the roof of my 2021 lexus GX460. They turned the job down. The guy was very careful to explain why and i totally understood his reasoning. Super professional all the way. While i was there i did see some of their work and I'm kind of sad they didn't take the job. These guys really know their stuff.

I presented them with a led lighting install for my security company and not knowing the challenges they would face, they tackled the project and used their wiring knowledge to get my security patrol vehicle the lights it needed.
