We saw monkeys and tropical birds, relaxed in thermal springs, and enjoyed stunning views of the Arenal Volcano right from our resort. Finally, we headed to Manuel Antonio, where the beach, nature, and especially the waterfall tour they organized were simply unforgettable. Every hotel, every tour guide, and every driver they selected for us was top-notch. All we had to do was enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica — Pacific Trade Winds took care of all the logistics seamlessly. Thanks to them, we had one of the most memorable vacations of our lives. We’re already thinking about our next visit, and without a doubt, we’ll be booking with Pacific Trade Winds again. Booking with Pacific Trade Winds was a great decision! I was nervous booking with someone online who wasn't "vetted"/recommended by someone in real life, but all their online reviews gave me confidence. I tried to build our trip myself but it was so overwhelming! I'm so glad I used Pacific Trade Winds- it was so much better than I could have figured out and definitely smoother. We went back and forth revising our itinerary a few times. I was planning a girls trip so safety was vital. We wanted to do zip lining and not drive too far (max 2 hours). They helped add on other wonderful activities and made sure the trip was smooth. They handled the transfers and we felt completely safe. We flew into Liberia, stayed at Hacienda Guachipelin (1 hour drive from the airport) for 3 nights where we did their adventure package (zip lining, tubing and horseback riding). We hiked the National Park and our guide Chris was phenomenal! Then we headed to the beach for 2 nights, staying at Tamarindo Diria which had beautiful ocean views and lots to do in walking distance. We came the end of April which was the perfect time - after spring break, before summer and before the rainy season. The weather was perfect and where we went in Guanacaste still had enough water in the river for tubing, apparently their rainy season doesn't start until September so it was going to get lower. Everywhere we went took US currency- no need to exchange for local currency.

We loved our family trip to Costa Rica this past week. Everything was planned out well (after one day of requesting- we flew in the same week of our decision to go!). Hotels, excursions, and transportation were amazingly planned and executed. We went to Manuel Antonio and Arenal, near La Fortuna. Stayed in 4-5 star resorts- Los Altos and the Springs in Arenal. We did the National Park in Manuel Antonio and ziplining and rafting in Arenal.

Used Pacific Tradewinds for my Costa Rica vacation. They helped me plan an 8 day vacation jumping to multiple locations. They were super responsive, setup transportation, and activities. I was a bit nervous about the rain, but they were reassuring and my vacation was amazing. I will use them in the future.

Unbelievable Service! Our Costa Rican trip went off without a hitch - despite the airlines moving my flights around multiple times, Pacific Trade Winds was 100% on it, handled everything seamlessly and the entire 11-day trip went flawlessly. 3 separate locations, numerous activities, scheduled drivers - ALL went off exactly as planned. Every email I sent was answered within minutes. Every question answered immediately. They were available by phone when I called without hesitation. They provided a quick conference shortly before leaving to make sure I understood everything. I mean - that's gold star service. When we landed in Costa Rica, there was one of their personnel there who's sole job was to welcome us and direct us to customs. After passing through customs, another of their agents made sure I hooked up with the driver. I evaluated several different agencies but kept coming back to PTW. Their references and reviews are impeccable and they were incredibly among the most cost effective. If you want your vacation to go off without a hitch - these are the guys to use. I literally could not have been happier with them.

This is an amazing travel agency. I could not have planned a more smoother trip to several destinations in Costa Rica! Every hotel was lovely. The excursions were fantastic, and for each transfer the drivers were on time to the minute! Also, the staff at Pacific Tradewinds are all extremely professional and will do everything to help you. I am so incredibly satisfied and thankful to you guys for your services and execution. I went on my very first mommy-daughter solo trip with my excited 7 year old little girl. We were looking for cultural experiences, wildlife interactions, and adventure! We certainly got our money’s worth, but the memories we made there are priceless. The agency’s vetting process was so helpful. I work a lot and as a single mother I don’t have a lot of mental bandwidth to do research for travel. I left everything up to the agency and after I approved the itinerary, we were all set. I loved that everything was planned for us. Transportation always on time. The drivers were all friendly and accommodating. We even had WiFi on the shuttles provided. The resorts chosen were top notch and the views were to die for. My little girl and I had the time of our lives and I’m so happy I was able to find you guys because otherwise I don’t know if my experience had been the same. Thank you for everything.
