Booked through luxury escapes for an apartment with an Ocean view and I specifically asked for a kitchen as we like to cook for ourselves when we travel to keep the costs down. We got the ocean view except that the couch faced the opposite way. So if you wanted to relax and enjoy the view you could from the kitchen chair and only one of the kitchen chairs. The kitchen was so poorly stocked it was a joke ! I tried to boil some eggs in the saucepan with the broken handle and burnt my hand. One roll of toilet paper was supplied and if you want more then you have to pay $1 per roll. And to top it off we couldn't use the pool because it was closed! Because there was a crane next to it which didn't move the whole time we were there. Coming from Melbourne it would have been nice to sit by the pool and warm our bones. Instead we watched all the hotel guests around us enjoying their pools. The pillows were poor excuse for pillows. The bed I have to say was comfy. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars was the proximity to the beach. Payed way too much for what we got. The hotel foyer and our apartment looked very tired with dirty walls. Old crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils ( the few they had) . Never again 😒 also im not sure how long our $200 security bond is going to take to be paid back into our account ? There are so many hotels in the area. Don't choose this one.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Apartments clean and had everything we needed. Bed and pillows super comfy, reception staff welcome and friendly, very happy to help. Pool area clean, spa nice and warm, relaxing areas to be in. Location amazing, quiet but close to everything you need. Cafe, subway and 7/11 just below Apartments. Will definitely be back.

We booked an Deluxe Ocean View for 7 days.
Firstly, there was no one at reception 1430hr on a Saturday and no instructions on how to get the keys.
Secondly, The air-conditioning did not work in the Living area despite the temperature being in the mid 30's. The help line although polite could not help but assures me someone would call us the next day. No one did.
Thirdly, The ocean view was of a great big building in front, left and right towering over our very small balcony. You could glimpse the sea around the front building but it certainly was not an ocean view.
We did receive a rather passive aggressive email telling us we had to provide photo ID and a credit card by 1400hr the next day (despite already paying $1446) or our key card would be deactivated. Unfortunately the reception was only open from 1200hr to 1400hr and we had come down for a family function and could not make that tight time schedule.
Because of the risk of being locked out and the horrible accommodation, we checked out the next day and moved 50m to another hotel. We lost $1446 but happy not to have to stay another minute in this place.
My advice is check the room before handing ant money over.

An excellent location with large apartments. Exceptional views and super friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are going to the Gold Coast.||They are located one block back from the beach and are a 5 minute walk to the tram stop at Main Beach. Two blocks away are the local shopping strip with restaurants, cafes, supermarket and more.||A great place to relax and unwind.

Really disappointed by this ‘resort’. Lounge room & kitchen were pokey for a full week’s stay, felt claustrophobic. view wasn’t great (overlooked, no privacy) reception is open for two hours on Sat & Sun (can’t check in before 2pm. Guess when it closes!?). The pics online are misleading. Won’t be back :(

This hotel was unacceptable for the price I paid for, we weren't given enough facilities and if we wanted more we had to pay at an extra cost. In the rooms there were ANTS all in the living room. I had a terrible experience, and we were also bitten by the ants. The view was great but other than the it wasn't as pleasant as expected. The pictures when purchasing this hotel isn't in comparison to what we received, poorly managed unfortunately.

We were very disappointed in our accommodation at Pacific Views 8th floor Apt 18 considering how much it cost us. The stay of 8 nights was for our diamond wedding anniversary with our son, daughter in law and their daughter who is 4 and a half. The weather was cold when we arrived on a late check in and the free standing heater didn’t work. There was a limited supply of blankets for the beds. The air conditioner had a notice saying do not use for heat. The unit was so thick with fluff I wouldn’t have used it for cooling either. I don’t think it had been recently serviced. The clothes dryer was in the same state. The cleaning staff should have been checking the dryer. We were provided with a new fan heater on the Sat morning which meant morning and night we could heat the Apt. Kitchen crockery was a mismatch, oven needed a clean and the furniture was shabby and grubby. Mattresses were very old and needed replacing. We received an email to say there was a mid week clean due on the Wed but on arriving home discovered it hadn’t happened. The toilet cistern in main bathroom was discoloured brown from a leak. The concierge provided clean towels and the basic Apt clean was done the next day. We had clean sheets for the last two nights. The linen was very clean and the view from the Apt was lovely.

Excellent location! Have stayed multiple times and always very happy. Right across the road from the beach which is quieter then surfers. The cafe downstairs is independent to Pacific Views but you can place an order from your room. Yummy breakfast! Also great restaurants and cafes a couple of minutes walk to Tedder Ave. We stay in the same apartment each time on level 15 and always good amenities and comfy bed. All the staff from Managers, Reception and Housekeeping are lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Can’t wait for our next visit!
