Less writing, more dancing, please.
I visited the museum about Frevo in Recife and I still don't know what Frevo music sounds like and what the dancing looks like.
I went in rooms with lots and lots of writing on the walls.
There are some pictures, and a few artifacts.
These exhibits told us that this is a profound Perambucano cultural heritage, and it moves people deeply and is a part of the roots of the region. But it didn't show that.
But there was not one single video or demonstration or anything showing what the actual dance looked like, and no place that I found that played the music. A lot of photos, which is good, but for a museum about dancing?
