Paco

Paco is a consistently excellent restaurant, and undoubtedly one of the best in Vienna. They source fresh and great quality ingredients and the dishes are prepared with care and precision. The wine selection is rich and pairs perfectly with the menu. The service is terrific and their specials are always exciting and delicious. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about Paco. I go there all the time and will continue to do so!

Great Spanish food. We came again for the third time, and it was great as always. The food is authentic and wonderful. The service is exceptional. We will keep coming back to this place again and again.

We came to Paco for a friends dinner and it was absolutely spectacular! The food is amazing, fresh and tasty. We ordered several tapas and they did not disappoint. The drinks were equally good, we tried sangria and wines. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very lively and pleasant. Definitely my favorite Spanish restaurant in Vienna, would definitely recommend trying it out!

I had a really lovely experience at Paco. We arrived on a busy evening without a reservation, but they found as a spot at the bar. The barman/waiter was extremely kind, he offered me a menu in English and explained all the specials to us. He also provided good advice on which wine to drink. We ordered the little peppers, the Spanish omelette, the squid and the prawns and it was enough food for 2 (we are both small). It is cozy and modern at the same time.

Went here yesterday and had some tapas (patatas bravas, tostada con sobrasado y queso, gambas, croquetas and more) everything was excellent! Vibe was nice (I love an open kitchen) waiter was observant and food came in the right time. I will definitely come back again.

We booked a big table for 14pers. there and it was simply perfect: impeccable service, very nice atmosphere it almost felt like we were alone in a separate room, and amazing food with very good portions. My favorite tapas that I’d recommend if I had to choose was definitely the octopus! I recommend going to PACO 100%! Muchas Gracias to the team

Paco is a nice tapas restaurant in the 9th district. The vibe is a little less rustic and more modern than most of the other tapas bars i've been too. Most of the seating is on high chairs and tables and in front of the bar, but there are also a couple normal round tables available. I'd saying sitting on the barbis nice but go for a normal table if you have a group of 4 or more so that sharing is more covenient. The food is very classic spanish and delicious. Portion sizes are not too big, except for the paella (for 2), which was pretty hefty even for 2 people. I think between us four we shared 7 dishes + the paella. The paella tends to be quite salty so we asked for less salt and it came out perfect. Remember to ask the waiter for the specials! There are usually some pretty tasty options on that menu. Some of my classic favourites are the pimientos, the gambas and chorizo tortilla. We also ordered the iberico rücken, which was a special they had- so aromatically fatty and heavenly. Their patatas bravas and tomato salad were nothing special. Sadly, their churros weren't super impressive either. We also got a fantastic bottle of rioja, which i would highky recommend: 2014 Palacio Remondo La Montesa. Overall, a great choice for some good foods with friends and family, who like to share.

We came here after trying Reserva Iberica, their sister restaurant in the middle of the city (and bumped into the same server, which was nice). We had the same jamon y queso board and olives plus patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, and the flan de chocolate. Oh, and a bottle of rioja. The food was all lovely, especially the flan. The wine was good, but not up to my California girl standards. I get it; my taste in these things is different. The service was a little uneven, i.e. it was a bit hard to get the wait staff's attention when we wanted something, but I also understand that dinner in Europe is a more leisurely affair.
