I visited this store with my daughter in November to find outfits for her 16th birthday photo shoot, and we were both really excited. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we reached the dressing room. We were informed that no one was allowed inside the dressing rooms. I asked how my daughter could know if the clothes fit or if she liked them, and the young man suggested that we purchase the items, head to the mall's bathroom to try them on, and return them if they didn't work out. I was taken aback by this response. It seemed unreasonable to expect us to try on clothes in a small public restroom instead of utilizing the dressing rooms that were clearly meant for customers. To make matters worse, none of the sales representatives were helpful; they just stood around without offering assistance. If theft is a concern, they could easily manage it by having an employee monitor the dressing room, as many other stores do. Overall, the customer service at this location was disappointing, and I would not recommend it.

I just called the store to ask about my online order and the woman I spoke with was extremely rude and disrespectful. Not only was she unprofessional and classless, she also canceled my order!! Shame on this store for not hiring more competent people!

Went here for a return a few days ago with HORRIBLE customer service. The lady had a sunflower tattoo on her arm but I didn’t catch her name. I didn’t have the original receipt with me but I had the email along with the order number and she told me she couldn’t do my return for me unless I logged into the app? She had my phone number, email address AND the confirmation email with the order number and still couldn’t process my return. She seemed extremely inconvenienced and had a horrible attitude the entire time and I was being extremely nice to her considering how she was treating me. As I was leaving and about to pick up the pants I was trying to return I accidentally went for the other pair of pants that was just laying on the counter and she gave me the nastiest look and said uhm those aren’t your pants. I apologized, grabbed my pants and told her to have a good day and she could hardly even say it back.. I’ve always been so kind to retail workers as I’m a retail worker myself so this really threw me off :\ On a lighter note, I went in today and another lady helped me with no issues whatsoever, she even let me do a return for an item I didn’t have the receipt for because it was under the orders placed when she looked up my phone number. If i asked the previous employee she definitely would not have helped me with that one. The employee that helped me today is the only reason I’m giving this place a 3 star!

Bad customer service except for one manager. There were three people working this afternoon. This taller white male with long light brown hair and a light skin (I assume white too) female with super curly hair. Both just stared at me and ignored me as if I wasn’t in the store. No smiles, greetings, or offer to help. I stood at the register for super long while they made eye contact with me but would ignore me and say nothing. How about a “sorry someone will be with you shortly?” A manager then came to help me (African American male, probably mid 20s). The manager was really nice. If you hate your job so much, please quit because you’re giving customers a bad shopping experience.

went here pretty often 3-4 years ago and worked here at one point and i went in today and grabbed 3 things off the buy one get two rack. most expensive item was 55 so simple enough around 60ish after tax for everything. my total was 83 and the employees could not for the life of them explain it to me i assume the sale ended or the wrong items got put on the rack but they kept saying that wasn’t it and it was the algorithm which made no sense. left without anything because all of it wasn’t worth that much to me even after washing my time trying stuff on

We went shopping for my daughter yesterday about 5pm. We were excited to purchase all the items my daughter wanted however they said they don't allow people to try on clothing. They suggested we buy walk downstairs use the mall bathroom to try clothing on and we could return them if we didn't like. That's absurd and terrible customer shopping experience. Why would we want to use a dirty mall bathroom to try and clothes? He said it's the District Managers policy. They had several employees there at the time. It very friendly. We walked out very disappointed.

Follow up... I tied this again, I am willing to give people a second chance. But when I walked in the other day,... again nobody said hi! I couldn't even tell if people worked there...! Same as my previous post. Just trashy, dirty, disgusting place of business. I'm a bit disappointed cause I been coming here for years, and used to get help by that bigger guy with tattoos I think is name was Richard, or Russle ., and he knew all the products and helped my son get an entire outfit from the shoes up! This store is going down hill quick. Sad cause i used to love Pacsun, now it's all ghetto people and a dirty, dusty store. Whoever that girl is with that tattoos was so fake and didn't hep us at all, she said she's "the manager" but she was super rude like she had no time for us. I'm so disappointed I'm gonna call your corporate office I think. Maybe things will change. Sad

This store is a bit small. They don't offer much variety. I would advice that you go here to figure out your size and then go to their website and order what you need/want. The Pacsun website has a lot more things so go check it out. Other than that, the store is well layout and clean. Staff are helpful and are available when needed.

I ordered two pairs of jeans online and they canceled my order without telling me why. Okay, that's fine I guess, maybe there was an error with the inventory and they're out of stock. So I figured I'd order again. I place an order for two different jeans and my order is canceled yet again. Both times Pacsun provided absolutely no reason for why my order was canceled, and did not attempt to reach out to me to explain the situation. I simply got a "your order has been canceled" e-mail that provided no information. I decided to spend my money with one of their competitors instead (Zumiez) and I am very happy.

I will never shop at this store again. By far the worst customer service. While I was checking out the cashier was texting while ringing me out several times during the less than 5 minute transaction. Obviously a personal text because she was smiling after reading her texts. I was the only customer so she could have at least waited until after she rang me up. It wasn't until after I said it was rude that she put her phone in her back pocket. After I finished my transaction and left I considered just taking the sweatshirt back and going to another store that provides better service. I will not shop here again and tell everyone else not to either. They don't deserve the business.

worst store ever. they put a full price item on the sales rack. the sale is buy one get two free. for that one thing i liekd, i wasted thirty minutes looking for two other things. just for them to tell me that it was not on sale. i pointed out that it came from their own sale rack. however, the store manager blamed it on their customers for putting it wrong. what the heck!!! he also said that sales items' price all ends with 0.99 and that i should know it, like its a universal thing? what the fuck!!! after stating that its ridiculous, and i didint even asked them to adjust the price. the dickhead store manager just said so do you want the item or not? thats not customer service bruh! dont shop there unless you want to be sooooo maddddd, disappointedddd, and genuinely sad about humanity. negative five stars no shit

When in tonight to purchase gift card All employees talking no acknowledgement nor greeting. They were folding clothes and talking about personal matters. I had to flag someone to help me. Had walked in to purchase gift card. Very short and unprofessional. So far tonight every store has reflected no customer service. Management needs to really pay attention on who they hire. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff is nice and the location is convenient. The layout and merchandise selection, however, are meh at best . It's a bummer that I generally have to leave this store in favor of their OWN website which has a better selection AND better deals to boot. Everyone is walking around in athleisure these days so I can't for the life of me figure out WHY their leggings, track pants and joggers are in the back obsscured by display after display of jeans.

Had a blast returning an item I didn't really want anymore because while I was returning it one of the workers says to another "you know we've got a lot of returns today and not many purchases, we should start a rule where if you want to come in you have to buy something, I don't want a bunch of broke people shopping here" he also said it loud enough so I can clearly hear him, like okay I love the professionalism he's definitely going to get a lot more buyers, make sure to either not shop here or avoid the curly haired perm boy with brown hair and blonde tips. I hate going to the mall this time of the year but since I got a gift and the size was wrong I needed to go do an exchange at the pac sun. I went today 12-30-17. I waited in line and once i got to the register i asked the girl if I could do an exchange for a bigger size. She then asks another gentleman to go look. He comes back and says they do not have the size so I asked if I could do a return since I had the original receipt my cousin gave me. The man said that since it was paid with PayPal that he could not do a return. Understandable. But when I asked if I can get store credit, he says they ran out of cards to do store credit so then i asked him if I can just get a gift card for it and he says they are out of gift cards too. Out of store credit and gift cards?!? Are you kidding me?!? I then asked if he can order it online for me and do an exchange that way then he says unfortunately he cannot because he would need to put it on store credit first. How inconvenient is this?! Such a horrible experience! I am very upset! This pac sun is 20 minutes from me and the other pac sun is about 45 minutes from me. I am not going to waste my gas to go to another pac sun because this one did not do one thing for me or even try to do anything for me but give me a horrible experience and turn me away instead of trying to help me find other options. This is really unacceptable for a store to not have store credit or gift cards available especially during this time of the year when they know there will be a lot of exchanges and returns. It's ridiculous. So either he didn't want to help me or they need to figure out what they are doing wrong at that store. It's not right that I would have to wait and drive there again. Who knows when they will have store credit or gift cards again!

the store is a bit small, but it is pretty organized. they have a smaller variety of clothes to choose from and most of their clothes are overpriced and pretty expensive (for me, at least), but still i like shopping there. the employees greet you when you walk in, and ask if you need any help which is always what i'd like. overall, pacsun is a great store to shop at.

Disclaimer! This is a review about their corporate policies and in no way reflects the experience I had with the customer service/sales staff members. Today I went inside with my younger brother to browse their sale selection as they had many signs depicting 70% off and buy one get one free. We both browsed the entire store and made a selection each, both on sale. When we went to the register we were expecting to benefit from the sale that brought us there but instead we were told that we purchased two different gender items so they didn't qualify for the sale. They told me that you cannot get a "men's" T-shirt and get a discount on a "girl's" T-shirt because they were different. They are in the same store and really what clothes are gendered in 2018? To make matters worse I was informed that the sales staff is also beholden to the gender rules but only the male staff. They aren't able to use their employee discount on "girls" clothes. Again, it's 2018 and I noticed several LGBTQIA staff members and for them to uphold such a rule is appalling. Avoid this place until they evolve beyond the gender binary. Also, no I'm not LGBTQIA I'm just an ally and a decent human being! You've been warned. Crawl out from under you rock Pacsun and join the rest of us rational human beings.

I came here to exchange some shorts for a different size, but they ran out of the style I was looking for. No big deal, I just picked out a different pair. However, since I had bought the first pair on a buy-one-get-one-half-off deal, I would have had to pay extra even though the new pair was cheaper than the first. The saleswoman was super nice though and tweaked it so that I could get a better deal. Great service! And bullhead always fits really well.

They were having a sale and the folks up front greeted us. We perused the sunglasses; typical Oakley, Spy etc. Nothing really stood out for me, but the shop is always nicely kept and packed with cute surf/skate style clothes.

Had the worst experience ever returning items to #pacsun that I had a receipt for. So I am blasting this cause it validates the the bad stories that I have heard about #pacsun. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but management sucks there. We bought a bunch of stuff on black Friday in the Chino Hills store only to realize their sizes are not normal sizes and the pants did not fit my kid. Went to The Galleria and then to Arden Fair Mall 2 different times to exchange them but they never had the green pair of jeans. So I got her jeans somewhere else and finally went back to Arden tonight to return them. As I'm standing at the register and the female associate started my return there is a man doing another return at the register, he grabs his junk and not just a tap to readjust, but it was a full grab of his crotch. As a customer with my kids I brushed it off and hoped my kids didn't see him adjusting his junk. Then there was a man who asked if the shoes on the back wall were on sale. The manager rudly cuts his man off and says this is all we have but it wasn't even his question. So the man says are they on sale and the male employee responds rudley saying I don't know yeah I guess whatever. Only to find out this was his employee asking a question to help a customer but this employee who only to find out was the manager responded in such a rude way. Mind you in front of customers. So this manager is asked by the female employee to help with my return. The guy immediately tells me he can't return my items cause I don't have the card they were bought with and he can only give me a store credit. I told him I don't want a store credit and these were paid for. He refuses to return my money with a reciept showing they were paid for. So his attitude and mine did not mix. We kept going back and forth and in the end I told him I will #nevershoppacsun again and he said that's fine. As a manger you don't say that to any customer. You apologize and then try to make it right. So I asked for his name and the number to corporate. This so called manager had the nerve to write down something that was illegible and so I called him out on it and said I will write it down myself. So he then states his name and started spelling out crap only to try and confuse me. I left, mind u mall closes in 30 minutes. I fly home and get Mike Quintana since his name was on the card. I was determined to return my stuff on his hour so it would lower his sales. I made it home at 655. The manager sees us and first thing out of his mouth was do you have the card. A whole different person and of course my honey went in there ready for him to act a fool with him. We are at the register and he gives him his id and the card that we used and the manager is all chummy chummy asking him if they offered him a military discount in Chino Hills and asking if he was from down there. Of course I was getting more mad cause he treated me so different. I ask for his DM's name and number. Talking retail lingo to let him know I know retail. He didnt even have his dm's number. He had to ask another co worker to go get her phone and get it. As a amanger you have to have that number. Then I said you didn't want to return this as returns mess up your sales but little did you know I was gonna be back to make sure the sale hit your hour. And the manager had the nerve to tell me I already made my day anyway. You don't respond to customers that way. Then my boyfriend had to sign the receipt and the manager had the nerve to say do you know where you threw my pen. As taking a jab at me then looks on the counter and sure shot there is his pen. Cutting this short but I will be on the phone with his DM tomorrow and #pacsuncorporate to file a complaint. It all makes sense why PAC suns are closing they officially on my #doNOTshoppacsun list. As a paying customer no one should ever be treated the way I was. I was shaking when I walked out both times cause I was so mad #pacsunsucks #nevershoppacsun I am not the type of person to do this but this manager deserves to have his dirty laundry blasted. I will make sure I am heard #worstexperience #poorcustomerservice #unhappycustomer

Love love love Pacsun! I'm so happy they carry Brandy Meville here. Saves me a trip to SF or ordering online. Although I don't mind ordering online since it's one size fits most, its nice to avoid shipping charges when you can. Service at this Arden location is always great. I really wanted to buy a jacket at this location but the only one in my size was missing a piece of hard wear. It was an easy fix which made me still want to buy it. The worker told me I would get 10% off since it was a damaged item but when I went up to pay the store manager decided to generously give me 20% off without me asking. He also offered to let me grab another item and get 50% off although there was no deal going on at that time. Workings are very enthusiastic, attentive, and generous. I just wish they would have more sizes since sometimes they don't have my size in items I want. I will definitely be shopping here again for fall necessities!

I made a yelp account just to comment on what I saw on black friday. I am not sure if he was the manager or not but he had long brown curly hair. I was standing waiting for my brother to come out of the fitting rooms and I saw him yell at one of his coworkers, I did not hear everything he said all I heard was "that was the 6th person that I had to tell.....if you don't....Im going to send you home". The girl he yelled at nodded her head and walked away but when she turned around I saw that she was holding back her tears. I understand that retail is stressful especially on black friday it is hectic at the mall, but there is no reason to be yelling at your coworkers in front of all the customers like that. It set a really uncomfortable vibe throughout the entire store for me, it is usually a very laid back environment. I regret not saying anything to him about the situation at the time. Also the girl that checked us out had an attitude as well and had no sense of humor, other than those two workers everyone else was great.
