"Sightseeing from the Water This is a classic guided tour and a good thing to do early in your visit since it will give you a nice overview of the city. The Paddan ("Toad") boats drive along the canals while you listen to the story of Gothenburg 's history. Beware! Some of the bridges you pass beneath are really, really low, so keep your head down."

Smooth ride on the canal and well driven on the Port water. The guide speaks Swedish and English and you can learn a lot about the City, and this is nearly the only chance to see a "cheese slice" bridge under the bridge. Really enjoyed and will recommend this to anybody.

Love it! Even though we catched a heavy rain, we still enjoyed it. The guide girl,(ai forgot the name😞) she was lovely. You could easily be fascinated by her stories. We bought the city pass so we had included this, we didn't have to stay in the queue, no waiting time and we had the boat just for us🎊 I ll definitely recommend.

It was a very entertaining ride and I learned a lot about the city. The boat goes smoothly. I get seasick easily, but this was a safe one.

Wow, what a great tour! Ted - what an amazing guide! Thank you for a lovely tour, great anecdotes about the city and the humorous GBG-jokes! Even though it was quite windy, they took us through the 50 minute tour in what felt like 20 minutes. I highly recommend taking the tour - even if you live in the Gothenburg area.

Great tour for solo and group travelers. I went solo. Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. You learn about past and present day Gothenburg. I got a little splashed with the water halfway through the tour. The tour was about 40 minutes not 50 as mentioned at the beginning of the tour. That worked well for me since I had another commitment afterward. But, some may find it was too short. The weather was 21 degrees Celsius. If you are taking this tour on a cooler day you will definitely need to bundle up. You can book this tour on the spot. I saw the sign, walked up and booked. There was lots of availability.

The Paddan tour was really fun! The guide (perhaps Glenn) was super entertaining and told a lot of interesting facts about Gothenburg. The guide will speak both in Swedish and English (but to understand all the jokes and puns it's best to understand Swedish). 4/5 stars only because the tour is quite expensive.

- This is recommended by my local friends - They do in bi-lingual (English and Swedish) by the live guides on board with travellers - Ticket is available at both website and at place - Tour is 50 mins long along the cannel through out the city and out to the gulf - I really enjoy the tour. This is suit to me who want to explore more about Gothenburg in a limited time

A good tour explaining all the places throughout the journey. Our guide Harold was enthusiastic and explained well. Tour is available in both Swedish and English.

Yelp
Such a lovely way to see Gothenburg. It's a 45-minute boat cruise where you leisurely travel under bridges to see various sites. After a day of walking around, it was a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon off my feet.

Yelp
Absolutely recommend you come here if you are visiting or have visitors in town. It's the perfect tour to get to know and see the middle of Gothenburg. It's only about 45 mins and it goes throughout the entire river of Gothenburg and out into the harbor. The tour goes under all of the bridges, and then the time in the harbor is spent looking at the massive bridges, boats, and opera house. The tour guides are super friendly and funny, they speak in both English and Swedish. If you get sea sick I wouldn't worry about this as it doesn't really rock like a typical boat. The tickets are pretty cheap (around 160sek) and they leave about every half hour. You can always find tickets on the fly we usually just walk up within a few minutes of the tour departing.

Yelp
Definitely recommended when in Göteborg! It's one of the top tourist attractions but it's worth it. The price is right - don't forget to ask for a discount if you're a student - and the guides are funny, friendly, and effortlessly switch between Swedish and English. A great way to see more of the city without walking, and there are some beautiful views. Plus you get quite the history lesson!
