We were craving oysters with friends — at 9 PM on a Sunday, in a quiet spot away from the crowds. And somehow, this place delivered exactly what we wished for. Even though we were a bit late, our oysters were waiting for us — fresh and prepared right before serving. The customer service here is truly one of the best in Ireland. So friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for the taste and the care!

I'm writing this as I eat because I didn't want to forget to say how great the food is here! I had the steak sandwich on garlic ciabatta with peppercorn sauce and it's amazing! Service is friendly too. Parking is a plus!

Paddy Burke's on the Bank Holiday was very busy. Great atmosphere. There were 4 of us and got a nice private table. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We and our American friends were very impressed.

Great food and drinks, the servers were very polite. If you like fish I personally highly recommend the Cod&Salmon Bake 🤤

We arrived for dinner around 9pm. The bar was buzzing with activity, but the hostess opened up an another dining room for our party for 6. The atmosphere was very Irish and the other patrons were friendly. The menu had choices including seafood, steak, sandwiches, and chicken wings. I ordered the mussels, which came as an appetizer or as a main course. Overall it was a good experience.

We stopped here en route to Galway and enjoyed quick seating and service though it appeared to be rather busy. It definitely was a neat spot featuring an old building with unique art and decor. The music was rather loud even though it was coming from a sole speaker in our seating area. Overall the experience was solid, and I wouldn't shy away from going back.

This was a great random stop from the Cliffs of Moher headed back to Galway. The service is some of the best we've seen in Ireland. The food was all solid, there are no bad choices on the menu. We had oysters, steak sandwich, and the chicken burger.

Yelp
We stopped in here on our way back into Galway from the Cliffs of Moher. We were with a bus tour and so there were about 30 of us who descended on the pub all at once. The service was super efficient and the food was good. Of particular note were the french fries which were like little half moons, nothing I've ever seen before or since, and they were delicious! I'm glad this is where we stopped.

Yelp
Good service was attentive and quick! They had GREAT oysters! And we ordered some chicken goujons (tebders/ fingers) and a spicy chicken wrap as well. Both cans of phenomenal and without having to wait too long. Just had a nice warm and casual Irish pub ambiance. Definitely worth a stop for a pint and a meal!

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us by our Airbnb hostess. It was my birthday and we decided on this place as it boasts about its oysters and I just love them. We were seated in a back room with one other lonely man eating alone. Felt awkward. Oysters were okay. Not super fresh like I had at two other restaurants in Ireland. They weren't served on ice either. I ordered the seafood pasta dish and it was plain sad. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar. I would not go back again for food, but perhaps a pint of Guinness. Also, why do the Irish pubs/restaurants all play American music. Was looking forward to some good Irish music. Ambiance - blah!

Yelp
Romantic charming and cozy!! We were here over the summer but only the bar was open. Although only open until 8 bc of covid we had a wonderful meal! The drinks were awesome and the food, the food here is just so fresh!! For an appetizer we ordered the prawns they were so good!!!I was honestly kind of disappointed that we split them bc they were THAT good. Got a drink I got one of the coffee drinks with ice cream and for dinner the ox... never had ox before it wasn't "Gamey" like I expected it was honestly mush delicious.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Connemara for some seafood lunches. A pub on the main street with parking at the side. Smoking area out back with patio tables and chairs. We came in the back door and had to endure the smell from clean lavatories, which was reassuring I guess. Then we walked into the pub which was surprisingly old and snug like. A few people sitting at the bar having a pint and many people sitting in tittle alcoves (snugs) eating lunch. We had a few glasses of Guinness and Clarinbridge Oysters on the half shell with soda bread and butter. Yum. So fresh & so good. Then I had locally sourced mussels in a very well seasoned broth with soda bread. They were so so good and a huge serving which I reluctantly shared with my sisters. They had salmon, seafood salad and Hake which they said were delicious. This pub is a must stop. The food is great and they are very very busy for the Oyster Festival held every September and rightly so. The staff were attentive and helpful. The cost was average by Irish Standards. We finished our lunches by having some Irish Coffee's which went down well on a cold dreary blustery Irish afternoon.

Yelp
I've eaten in Paddy Burke several times in past 3 months. The duck, monkfish and sea bass were all amazing. If your starving have a starter chicken wings are delicious. Portions sizes are great would highly recommend.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way from the Cliffs of Moher to Galway looking for seafood and good beers. My boyfriend got a 10oz steak and I got fish and chips, with a half dozen oysters to start. All of the food was awesome, and they have a stout they brew there (I assume, it has the same name) that complemented our dinners nicely. We spent 62 euro on the above. We were sat immediately, and our server was busy but attentive. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. The feel seems legit and authentic and they know the locals by name. We stopped in for lunch and everything was great. Best fish and chips combo I have had yet as far as overall experience. The fish was meaty and lightly breaded..very tasty. The mushy peas were great and the chips were crisp and hot as they should be! No need to change a thing. Ousters were nice as well. The food is good, the atmosphere was great and the Guinness went down easy. Highly recommend Paddy's!

Yelp
Food's pretty good, service is better than many other places. Paddy's is famed for the Oyster festival held in early September. Tip: Parking alongside the pub down by the river...

Yelp
Group of 4 adults and 3 kids, on a busy saturday night, had truly great food, it's a pub, but the food is far from pub grub. I had surf n turf, both delicious. the kids were treated well, and without making a fuss of them or us, we felt well looked after and everyone enjoyed the food.
