The place has a bit of an old vibe, which honestly doesn’t feel very inviting. That said, the food is actually good — fresh, well-cooked, and enjoyable. If they update the atmosphere a little, this spot could be much better overall.

I was about to write a very good review. We had plov for lunch, and it was amazing. Unfortunately, we decided to get liver to take away, and it was clearly expired , it had turned greenish😖 Very disappointing.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the service and the food and everything you can name. The menu has a vast of variety of options with all types of soups, salads and main course meals. You are welcomed with a warm greeting and the music in the restaurant lightens up your mood and brings you joy as you eat. Along with music, the food was all very fresh and was prepared rapidly, tasting to perfection. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent food, excellent service and atmosphere! I live in the city and I love Uzbek food- unfortunately, we don’t have any Uzbek restaurants where I live. After reading all the reviews I was hesitant if I should go to Gulchatay or Sherdor restaurants nearby, but I’m glad that I didn’t! The lamb kebab and the liver are so fresh, juicy- just excellent! I had a lamb kebab in Georgian house on Brighton beach some time ago and it was so dry and disappointing. But Padishah exceeded my expectations and I finally got the food I was craving! Highly recommend to everyone! And will be back)

honestly i gave them a try and my friend told me lets try something new so i gave it a try honestly took it and felt bad to throw food i donated it to some homeless better then throwing food out but the food was not taste ful to much salt would highly no he back or recommend anyone here thank you 🙏🏽

Fresh, tasteful food. Try: Liver kebab, lamb kebab, ribs, achuchuk salad and their french fries. Delicious food.

They have really good garlic fries and a pastry with meat in it I think it's called samsa, very good. They do take a while to prepare your order but it's worth the wait, they ja e very good lamb and you can dine in or take out, they have music on weekends, very good overall.

Hands down one of the nest shish Kanin spots in Brooklyn . Salads are always fresh and good As well. Been here about ten times now. Definitely way better then the two spots across the street Gulchataue and Sherdor!! Both have bad service and the kabobs are nasty at sherdor and the meat Is tough at Gul.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. Granted, it's not the fanciest, but the food is delicious and the price is great. I also saw negative reviews relating to the staff. Each time we've been here the staff have been fast and attentive. This spot is homey, if you want a fancy and expensive restaurant then there are others in the neighborhood. But if you want quality food while having lunch or dinner with family, give them a try!

Food was tasty and not too expensive. I could see where both the 5 star and 1 star reviews are coming from. Service was fine but not friendly. It was our first time trying Uzbek food but we liked everything we ordered. The lamb kebab and chicken kebab were both so moist and flavorful. The homemade potatoes and round non bread (kind of like a big sesame bagel without a whole) were comforting. It was extremely quiet in there to the point where I would definitely do takeout or delivery but might not dine in again.

Delicious authentic uzbek/ tajik cuisine. Perfectly marinated meat, melts in your mouth. Great service.

Went to this restaurant and noticed that there was 0 service. For some reason it seemed like all salads were made few days before, unfresh. Olivie was weird looking, along with some pink shredded cabbage untasteful salad. Not sure why, but the fruit was given at the beginning of the course meal, which was also strange. There was brown looking mango that apparently was given a go to be served along with other fruit, with dry looking cut oranges. The fries were soggy, but chicken and kebabs were good. Samsa was small, and honestly we had better in terms of Uzbek food. The waiters were dressed in tights with t-shirts. Terra misu was unfresh and frozen solid when served. Overall, we did not enjoy it and will never come back.

Simply cosy and delicious. Was inside their kitchen and loved the cleanliness. Prices are reasonable and waiters are kind. Recommend this to my friend

This is a nice discovery. In a see if "russian" style restaurant - this is a small authentic place with non-pretentious service and very tasty food. I ha the lunch special, which was surprisingly freshly prepared and nicely presented. The main server (which is suspect is one of the owners ) provided a vey homey atmosphere. This is one if those places where you do not expect 5 servers around you. It is more like a short visit to Uzbekistan where a friend if a friend mom offered to feed you before you get back on the road. Worth a try!

Food was decent not taste at all, but serves was slow and prices were to high compare to other Uzbek cafes and food was a little for that price Nd especially the food was not tasty at all

Food is good! Ate there once, and ordered for delivery once. Enjoyed the quail very much, as well as the whole fish. I also like the vegetable katoobi. It's a comfortable place to eat in, and the food is great for delivery as well (they do a good job packing it).

My fiance and I happened to come across this place on our way to a different restaurant and decided to give it a try. The decor is authentic Uzbek and the staff is very polite and attentive. The food is prepared fresh. Try their lamb Samsa and the Lamb shishkebob, they are amazingly delicious and the kebabs are tender. We will definitely come back here.

It's not the best but it's fine No raw food Always has great greasy taste So it's all fine not the best but not the worst

Delicious lunch special $10 for salad, bread, 1 shish kebab & soup with soda. Loved how the beef was perfectly cooked, not burnt. Did not see a chunky tomato/onion sauce for kebab, just ketchup haha Unfortunately, poor waiter service- no water until ask. they also charge a hidden a 10% service charge, when we tip 15%, we actually paid 25% total tip for lunch service & NO AC in restaurant :(( NOT COOL.

I've been meaning to try this place and i'm so glad we did. Its a cute little spot for lunch or dinner so long as you are not in a rush. Service is average. The compote has a distinct cherry flavor but overall light and sweet. The avocado salad is great and so it the feta and tomatoes accompanied by some warm fresh bread. They were out of hummus which sucks but I guess there's always next time. Hubby wasn't crazy about the plove when he tried it as takeout once before so it took some convincing to get him in the door. As for the kebabs they are good tried one of each of the following : hearts, chicken, lamb, beef, and ribs.

Drove from Westchester and Stop by while I was there with my friend. The place had nothing to be proud of it !!! Services is really BAD the waiter was a young man I couldn't call him waiter !! Dress up like a casual dress and serving food who doesn't know what's his job. And refused to talk Uzbek C'mon That's not what I'm paying for I went there because I wanted to feel homeland what a wasted time and money Also restaurant environment is not really nice that you can bring guests. I need to say lagman and bread were okay but shish kebabs which tasted like it was made of the cheapest meat possible and then boiled it was really boiled I have never seen boiled kebabs and I can't call that one Uzbek kebabs. Restaurant has a discrimination for people who's from another City !!! That's bad I felt like giving a business for my country's Restaurant but it ain't worth it Shame for Restaurant for keeping a server like HIM That's how you present your country SHAME I don't know how business is still running With that service u won't last long. NEVER come back and DON'T recommend!!!!

Food is decent,service terrible ,you walk in to this place a women with golden teeth says hi in Russian real weird .than I treys to order 100$ worth take out they don't know what they gave or whAt it is called ,go figure new place trying to get bus dines from the locals around here they barely know what they got it the kitchen .than it takes them 15 min to figure out how much it will cost ,did I mention this was a takeout order ,I can't stop laughing than they lost their order ticket I am at that moment so calm so over it that I even tip them lol .thats the only business they will get from me if u decide to go there got luck and have lots lots of patience .

I came in with my grandfather and was very pleased. We got the lunch special ($9). Soup, salad, bread, kebab. The food was very good. It's a nice space, can definitely celebrate with some 50 people here (don't quote me). One thing that puts me off is bad water service. I had to ask for water, but whatever.

I like this place! Before it was Padishah, it was Moscow-on-Hudson. I was a big fan of the old place, and when I tried the new I was happy to see it was still good. I still have no idea if the old and new places are related. The wait staff is friendly, the environment is comfortable, and the food is tasty. The last time I was there, I enjoyed the Lagman and the Fried Dumplings, as well as the fish.

I don't recommend, food is not good, same as the service. I was fooled by the good reviews on Yelp to come here so I don't want others to be fooled as well. Half of the items on the menu were not available and they didn't even serve us water. The waiters were not friendly. Definitely will not come back

Best place for birthday party or any small/medium parties. The foods were awesome. Very friendly staff. Love it. I highly recommend this place.
