I have not been here since the florist cafe relocated to Ham Nghi, but now that I have a rendezvous with a friend, I have the opportunity to visit. To be honest, I prefer the old premises on Le Thi Hong Gam. This new space lacks the charm I felt before. I also do not feel quite as enveloped by flowers and foliage as previously.
The beverages are still served on a tray and adorned with fresh blooms, but I find the wooden tray imparts a more intimate atmosphere. I can still recall the juice being served in a wine glass. The flavours of the drinks are delightful, though not exceptional, but are all blended with wholesome ingredients. Some of them also incorporate unique local elements, and the beverages are all given lovely names.
However, what truly impressed me and endeared me to them were their croissants. Flaky, airy, and delicately buttery. For those seeking a poetic coffee experience, Padma de Fleur remains a worthwhile destination.
