Excellent space for a cocktail and light snacks. We especially loved the mocktail menu and tried the Phony Negroni. The French Gold cocktail was so good we ordered a second. Spacious seating indoors and out, with tables and chairs or along the bar.

Two times, four years apart, I found myself at Padrona feeling instantly at home in a way I really needed. The women who work there are ethereal and beautiful goddesses and the food and drinks are incredible, balanced and thoughtful.

Love this place! Great ambiance and Morgan was great and mixed up a tasty Corpse Reviver!

Just went in due to seeing this sign on the street, only to be informed that the happy hour on Friday is from 7-9? One bartender seemed to think it was still 3-5 but the other said no. Either way, false advertising and disappointing.

Padrona is an incredibly delightful bar that you should visit or have an event at (if so lucky!). We have been before, and also used them this past weekend for our welcome drinks before our wedding. Kat & team helped us plan a lovely evening and made delicious custom cocktails for our guests (on top of an overall incredible bar package!). Everyone was raving about how nice the space and snacks were, and how friendly all the staff are. They also kindly let us use an amp for toasts and were accommodating for early drop off for welcome bags. Thank you all so much!

We didn’t have food but we loved the drinks and atmosphere. We went there for pre dinner drinks and because we really enjoyed it we went back for after dinner drinks. Loved the espresso martini and my sister said she had the best dirty martini and loved the way it was presented. Def would recommend to anyone and coming back on my next trip out there.

Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Every cocktail was exceptionally good - we had to order a second round to try others. However, the food is largely a miss. Duck rillette was pre-frozen, and the $24 canned trout was very disappointing. Crab and artichoke dip was ok. Would definitely go back for a drink!

Best place to have a drink and good vibes in Hudson! Beautiful establishment, and menu. The owner is so sweet and kind, and the staff is great!

Yelp
My partner and I have come here twice, and enjoyed ourselves both times. The music is great, the staff are welcoming, and the space is cute. The food menu is definitely limited, better for snacks than a meal. We got the esquites and it was ok, though a fairly small portion and the corn was either overcooked or canned. Either way, a shame at the height of local corn season. The cocktail menu seemed to highlight edgy and unconventional flavor pairings, which is generally my favorite kind of cocktail but both times the ones available were a bridge too far for my tastes. The wine list seems great, but each time I've asked questions the server or bartender has said they haven't tried it and had to go get the owner/manager. I've ordered local beer (none on tap, sadly, but some good local cans) and martinis, some of which are served in little swing top bottles on ice. When the bill came, I was shocked that our standard martinis cost $17 each, which was inexplicably more expensive than the fancy cocktails on the high proof menu (which all ranged from $14-16).

Yelp
More folks need to review Padrona on Yelp because it's a super fun spot with great drinks and a truly unique food menu. I've been here twice and both times were enjoyable. The second time it was oddly empty, but I generally have few complaints. The cocktails are delicious and original, and the list of tinned fish is unusual and vast. Sure, the food menu might not be for everyone (the few other reviews mention that the food is strange and/or unapproachable), but if you put aside your reservations what's offered really is quite good. I hope Padrona picks up in the coming months/years, because it's got great energy and has lots of potential. Most recently, we came here around around 8:30 on a Thursday night. As I mentioned, it was pretty empty. A few parties inside, a few outside. Not sure if it was just a down night or if people haven't discovered yet, but no matter. The place certain has potential for great vibes: good music, beautiful decor, nice feng shui. We ended up sitting at the bar just to get a front row seat to the action, which is always fun. I would say Padrona is much more of a drinks destination than a food destination, but we wanted to get a sense of the full menu so we ordered both, Drinks-wise, we like just about everything we tried. I started with the Haus Martini (olive oil washed gin, cocchi americano, salers, pickled tomato), which was such a smooth and elegant martini variation. I then tried the Pretty Hot Thing (mezcal, ancho reyes, yellow bell pepper, serrano pepper, honey), which had all the right components of a good mezcal drink - spice, smokiness, and vegetals notes. I finished with the most nightcap-worthy drink on the menu, the Smoke Gets in Your Eye (scotch, amaro china china, porter syrup) which was smoky, rich, and just delicious. My partner tried the OG Slush (mezcal, thai chili infused aperol, smoked agave, lime, sumac) and the French Gold (cognac, ginger liqueur, oro blanco grapefruit, honey, preserved grapefruit), and he preferred the flavor profile of the French Gold. The food here is fun and unique. I wouldn't recommend making a dinner out of it as we did (more on that in a moment), but I don't regret our approach. We ended up getting the English Pea and Mint Hummus, the Charcuterie and Cheese Board, the Nuri Spiced Mackerel, and the Razor Clams. I would say our favorites were the hummus and clams, but everything was solid. What I did not expect was the sheer amount of bread/crostini we received for dipping. Nothing could have prepared us for that! We ended up taking the leftovers home but in retrospect perhaps we could have ordered one fewer thing.

Yelp
Great drinks, wonderful service, great playlist, bartender even made me a special drink because I'm not a big cocktail drinker. It was wonderful.

Yelp
After having dinner in town my partner and I stumbled on this place on our walk back to our bnb. We decided to end the night with ONE drink which led to 4 drinks each. It was the Thursday evening before this past NYE, and the place had maybe 3 other patrons at 8pm, which I don't mind at all. The bar tender was welcoming. Started off with an espresso martini which wasn't the best* but still enjoyable ... then ended on a mezcal cocktail that was made with egg whites. I told the bartender I was interested in said drink but have an egg allergy, and she was able to improvise with an eggless option (perhaps aquafaba or something like that) the drink was so good, I had to have multiples. By time we stumbled out, it seemed to have filled up a little more but we were engaged in friendly chatter with another couple at the bar, we hardly noticed. An all around good vibe in the place and the perfect spot for a night cap.

Yelp
Just had a drink here before dinner with a group of five other friends. Good cocktails and the waitstaff were nice.

Yelp
Padrona is overpriced. Hard to find something appetizing to snack on with a drink unless you like $30 cans of Pickled Sardine Tails or Razor Canned Clams! Nice atmosphere but not everyone likes Fennel Pollen on watery whipped ricotta or canned Mackerel. Pretty much all Hudson bars have a Happy Hour. Padrona why not you, I am sure there is a good answer. A great hot dog like the ones you used to serve outside would make your patrons ecstatic. Wake up Padrona! 1 Star for atmosphere.

Yelp
Atmosphere had something going for it, didn't quite feel right but I can totally see what they are going for. The drink menu is extremely limited & near NYC prices. None of the drinks sounded that appetizing, and the food offered was odd. The drinks also tasted like stale tap water (I assume ice was frozen from tap). Service was fine.

Audrey B.

Yelp
Nothing edible, nothing drinkable. Atmosphere is fine, feels like a missed opportunity.

Yelp
The most inspired and inventive cocktails in town. Tasty and unforgettable. Kat Dunn is a genius. The service: first-rate. Overall vibe: welcoming, warm. Both lively and laid back. Great patio. Great hummus, and I don't even like hummus. Another favorite, the egg and caviar sandwich. Also, check out the wallpaper in the bathrooms.

Yelp
Visited padrona last night and sat out on the patio. The inside decor is actually really beautiful but it was the first nice night of the summer so we opted for outdoors. The chairs were very comfortable and the service was fantastic. My friend and I tried the charcuterie board, pickled veggies, onion dip and duck rillette. We had intended to stop in for a drink and a snack and continue on to another spot for dinner but we were so happy with Padrona that we stayed put and just kept trying more menu items. Looking forward to returning.

Yelp
Simply put, nothing short of excellent. Hudson is most certainly lucky to have Padrona..

Yelp
Best bar in Hudson, hands down. The cocktails are out of this world as is the staff and ambiance. Haus Martini and Bottarga Onion Dip and you can thank me later.

Yelp
Visited this place on a quick trip to Hudson and cannot recommend it more! The lobster and crab artichoke dip were delicious, drinks were lovely, and the staff is so kind. We will be back!
