Very nice and attentive waiters, mezze style dinner with excellent selection of meat and some veggies! Portions are quite large. I can wholeheartedly recommend the pigeon!

Amazing food with so much variety. We had the seafood meze for 2 with one vegetarian and it was a good choice. We had so much food that we had another lunch the next day because food kept coming to the table!

Such a good traditional ambience, live music, customers dancing and having fun. Very nice service, quick but a bit chaotic, serving the dessert before finishing the main courses.
In general happy with the experience, local people, eating outdoor and a menu 100% from Cyprus.

A family run business dated back to 1937.
Although, we had some misunderstanding at the beginning on what exactly to order, I can say that the mix grill was definitely worth it. Please bear in mind that the portion is huge and you can hardly eat everything. However, you can try 6 different types of meat with french fries and a mix of local starters.
The salads are also huge.
The atmosphere is nice and it is more a European style restaurant than a typical taverna.
Definitely recommend to pay a visit.

We had the best experience! Haven’t had such a heartwarming welcome in a long time. There were no table for us, so we were offered to sit outside with a glass of wine while a few waiters were doing their best to arrange us a table inside. Then we spent an awesome evening with live music and delicious meze - we received so many that it was impossible to eat them all! Fried zucchini was my favourite. I would love to go back!

We have come to Pagkratios on our last 2 visits to Cyprus. The food and service is excellent. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and polite. The menu has a range of traditional Cypriot dishes. The owner even took the time to share his stifado recipe with me, which I now make at home in the UK. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting the old town.
