The coconut rum punch was a spiritual experience. This venue is targeted for tourists. Come for the day to eat, drink and enjoy the view. Or stay over. I didn’t stay here but perfect location in relation to the airport. One of the only places on the island with a food and drink menu that is open.

We booked this resort for my 40th months ago. They randomly what’sapp us to say they inadvertently double booked the room and are issuing a refund. Don’t bother booking at a hotel who can’t keep reservations. Awful customer service. We have to go spend more money last minute because of their systems, procedures and ineptitude.

The owners Alisha and Rick and staff were amazing, so helpful and caring. It is a super relaxing location great for exploring the island. The cabanas provide seclusion, when you want some peace and quiet, and the food and drink in the restaurant were great, also loved the hotel cats! It is out second trip to Dominica and we would definitely return to the hotel.

Pros: If you love the sound of the ocean (Atlantic Ocean) then you are in the right spot, there is a magnificent view there. Hearing the wind at night is Amazing. The plunge pool is also situated right in front the view of the ocean as well. The food tasted great 👍🏾 although they mentioned that the person who did it wasn't the chef it was still good to me and they had their own spin on the bagels which I loved. Also it's very quiet and peaceful. Cons: The layout of the rooms are somewhat weird. The rooms are really small and the bathrooms are really large. Customer service: The customer service was not on a the good side for me. I believe that the service workers need a little bit more training in terms of the way that they speak to their customers and also how ready and prepared they are. When I first walked in, the one at the bar looked at me lost waiting for me to speak a simple, "Hi good day, welcome to pagua bay can I help you?" Would have been great. We told her that we are a guest and she still seemed a little lost. Anyway, moving forward the communication on what's next what to do was just not in the equation. It felt like this was her first time. I met a couple different service workers and while they were nice they still had an aura of headless chickens. They had no clue what they had in stock. There preparedness and being alert and ready just weren't there. In other words they were way too relaxed so it made it seem very unprofessional. They also lack communication skills and instead compensate by assuming things. E.g I ordered some food along with a side, and then she found out that it was unavailable she informed me later and then I told her to replace the main with something else. Instead she erased everything including the side and when I got my meal I asked her what happened. She said that she thought I didn't want everything. A simple clarification would have been great. This happened quite a few times. Kitchen: The menu is okay, but the problem arised when they had too many things missing in the menu. Which I believe is just a problem in Dominica or maybe the entire Caribbean. There were also certain things I would expect like a simple orange juice or apple juice (catering to the peaky eaters a.k.a the kids). Variety was lacking in that aspect. Room Service: There is a fee of $20 room service for the people to bring your food to you which I thought was strange. I had to carry the patter of food to my room (which clearly I'm not trained to do) then I went back for some more things and it was so much I had to balance it all while walking up the steps (I had no tray the second time around).

We didn’t actually stay here but we went for dinner and to watch the sunset for two nights in a row. Gorgeous view spot with an infinity pool overlooking the bay. We had very delicious tacos here and some strong margaritas and rum cocktails which I would highly recommend (beware the spicy margaritas were really quite spicy). The staff were all lovely and very helpful and everything came quickly!
