My first time in Malaysia, and I had the best time here! You can't go wrong with this place; highly recommended! 😌 Great music, chill/ cozy atmosphere, and best of all, quality cocktails! The staff were fun, engaging, welcoming, and the highlight of our night! ❤️

Pahit is truly a hidden gem in KL. Tucked away in a small house in Bukit Bintang, this bar offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the high-quality ingredients used in their cocktails. The menu is creative and unique — many of the ingredients and flavor combinations are unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. I ordered the Gin Pahit, and it was absolutely refreshing — perfectly balanced and full of character. Definitely a must-visit spot for cocktail lovers in KL.

A great vibe restaurant and think would be a perfect place to go on a date, loved ones, friends and colleagues. Food was delicious and drinks were amazing too. The team were very friendly and gave great recommendations. The Gin Pahit Cocktail was their signature and I do indeed recommend to try! There are outdoor seatings and think this would be nice place to chill and even work remotely. Would definitely go back in the near future! :)

1st time to Jln Sin Chew Kee, this place will grow into a nice foodie street. I like the ambience at Pahit. I had the Gin Pahit. There are also a variety of others that I didn’t get to try. But sure will come back again.

Absolutely a gem. 💎 I am in awe of this humble place. They are a gin based cocktail bar but their food is literally one of the best in kl. I am obsessed with their brisket & striploin, seriously you have to order these! Obviously the cocktails are fantastic, these people know what they are doing. Will go back to try other menu <3 please keep up this quality 🙏🏻

Last night at Bar Pahit was a special experience, featuring a “one night only” bar takeover by Art, the bar manager of The Old Man Hong Kong. The collaboration brought a unique energy to the venue, making it an evening to remember. I sampled all four cocktails on the menu, each one a testament to Art’s creativity and expertise. The balance of flavors, technique, and presentation truly stood out, showcasing why The Old Man Hong Kong has earned its reputation. Bar Pahit itself remains an excellent spot in Kuala Lumpur, known for its focus on gin-based cocktails and a laid-back yet refined atmosphere. The intimate setting and friendly service made the takeover even more enjoyable. A fantastic night overall—great drinks, great vibes, and a well-executed guest shift. Looking forward to more events like this in the future!

This is review is specific to only the drinks. They specialize in gin, and they're one of the better cocktail bars I've been to around the world during my travels. That includes most of the top ten on the 2024 50 Best Bar list. If they branched out to more spirits they'd have a shot at being on the list on flavor alone. Their cocktails are very well balanced but always put the gin flavor forward. They offer bitter, sweet, herbal, and creative cocktails that cover every pallet. Seating is available inside and outside but mosquitoes do come to bite in both seats. There's an upstairs for overflow. The staff is awesome, speaks English, and accepts credit cards. You'll pay about $10 usd for a drink.

Favourite go to bar in KL. Very cosy, very laid-back. No dress code required. Drinks are awesome, service is excellent with friendly bartenders that will interact with you if you sit by the bar. Love it. I've brought many friends from out of town here before and they really enjoyed themselves. A good stop if you like gin and is visiting from overseas because it's close to other trendy and awesome bars too so you could go bar hopping. Usually my friends and I will go to PS150 as well if we're in Pahit or vice versa.

Came here after they have been open only 10 months. The atmosphere is amazing and chill! The drinks... wow. It's a gin bar (they only have gin-based cocktails) and damn do they know their gin! The cocktails are superb, and they use raw real ingredients to make everything. The coconut clover club was one of the best cocktails I have ever had. This place will win awards... come before you can't get a spot!
