Pai Phu Fah Resort

Me and my other half stayed in one of the bungalows for 3 weeks and absolutely loved it! It was beautiful clean peaceful and we had so much amazing wildlife around us! The price was really good and the staff were really friendly. They really respected our privacy and only cleaned the room when we asked however we did have fresh towels and toilet roll left outside our room every morning. 100% would stay there again and recommend to everyone! Thank you for having us and being so lovely :)

Nice hotel. Not much service but its what you get for the price. Room was nice for price. Toilet was hard to flush however again, what do you expect for this time of accommodation. Lady was nice who worked there. Location is okay. About a 10-15min walk into the town.

Good location, but it is better if you rent a scooter. Good internet. Owner willing to help all the time.|Outdated room. Looks like they do not clean and do not maintain the hotel for a long time. There wasn't a mosquito net despite showing in booking.com pictures. Lots of ants in the room, I know this is normal in Thailand, but in this hotel there were many on the walls, on the toilet, on the floor. The TV remote wasn't working, the lady from reception asked us if she could change the next day, but the owner fixed for us in the same day. Hard bed. Just one complimentary water bottle for a double room, no fridge.

Stayed here for 4 nights in the middle of October (although we extended our stay in Pai as we fell in love with the place!). The bungalows here have a lovely quaint/rustic feel to them and you get beautiful 360 degree views of mountains and paddy fields, which I loved waking up and seeing each day. The bathrooms are plastered in clay and are all wet rooms (like most places in SE Asia) and we had no issue with the shower/sink/toilet - the bulb in the toilet did go one day, but the owner replaced it within 5 minutes of us telling him. The air con was fine and not noisy, the staff also provide clean towels and free water each day (which they can leave outside your bungalow if you want your privacy respected). The staff are all attentive and very helpful.|The only reason I didn’t give 5* was the bed - it was very uncomfortable and as you roll around you can feel each spring poking you in the back. We ended up putting our clothes/towels down as extra cushioning but it didn’t help much. |Tip: keep the bathroom door shut at night as there are uncloseable vents that lead directly outside, meaning mozzies tend to fly in. |All in all, a lovely stay in a beautiful little town...just a shame about the beds!

Stayed here for 4 nights and when we arrived we were shown to a different room we booked. This actually turned out to be a good thing as when we were shown to our original room the second night it was very open to lots of insects. The bed looked comfy but the ceiling was covered in cobwebs. My girlfriend is terrified of the creatures so we asked if we could stay in the first room again. Thankfully we were allowed. The resort does offer bike rental which was good as the resort is a 10 min walk from town. The lady at reception was very helpful which made things a lot easier with what happened. Overall the place is fine if you don't mind the insects.

Ended up staying in Pai a lot longer than planned, I think that's the norm. Anyways, the staff here (the man) was very helpful in getting us accommodations. We were four people so the first night we had to hut like rooms with two single beds in each. The beds were very comfortable in this room. The bathrooms were outside of the room but it's all good, it's like a camp ground. Don't stay here if you are trying to pamper yourself, it's a very low maintenance place to stay. I loved it. There are spiders and geckos everywhere but that's nature so let it be. ||On the 3rd night we had to switch one of our rooms so two us stayed in the hut like room and two of us went to a private room which had a full size bed, ac, toilet , and heated shower! The bed was horrible in this room though, it was like sleeping on a rock. But it's ok, I was drunk most nights and it was still cheaper than other places. There was also a cute table out front perfect for playing cards. ||The common area was lovely with a great view of the mountains in pai. The hostel is a good distance from the center city where most things happen but it was a lovely walk/scooter ride. The food was good but most of the staff do not speak English so it takes time to get things right. Just have patience with them, they're good people, there's no need to get mad when they don't understand you. You're in pai! Just be happy!

My partner and I stayed here for 8 nights, purely for the price and the gorgeous accommodation and it’s accompanying views. |We stayed in the cabin, complete with ensuite.|The bed was comfy enough, plenty of hot water, great aircon and the views of the neighbouring rice fields were gorgeous to wake up to. |Be prepare for a few animal visitors at night, including the quite noisy, heavy footed geckos. The staff’s English wasn’t the best which made things a little difficult, which I fine but their attitude towards us wasn’t the best either, ignoring us or waking away from us when in the middle of trying to communicate.

Stunning views and a gorgeous quaint little hut. Staff were brilliant at delivering clean towels and water to leave outside our door- something which most hotels forget about. |||Tried to order some|Soft drinks drinks from reception and they said no which was a shame, not sure they serve them- just wanted coffees in the morning.||Short bike ride from the main town. Would love to come back and have recommended to lots of people we've met on our travels.
