"Paia Bowls is less of a restaurant and more of a food stand: the cute wooden dining deck is outfitted with a handful of tables and shaded by lush, leafy palms. Vibes are relaxed and casual, and beachy, quite literally: The beach, just behind the shop, is so close that you can hear the crashing surf. Try one of the signature bowls: the Açaí Blend (frozen açaí blended with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas) and the Açaí Surf Bowl (made of purely frozen açaí). Both come topped with granola, bananas, coconut flakes, and Hawaiian honey, and you can add as many extra fruit and toppings (hemp seeds, almonds, goji berries) as you like for an additional 75 cents each.
