Painted Boat Resort Spa & Marina

Visited with my mom for a couple nights, coming from Roberts Creek. Beautiful area with lots of trees, views of the water and wildlife, including eagles and hummingbirds. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay. I had Lindsay for two different massage treatments and it was a great experience. There's a lot of attention to detail throughout the resort and in the spa itself. The sauna is fantastic! Worth it if you're craving a luxurious getaway and the feeling of being pampered. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Positives: location was beautiful, rooms were clean & large, RMT massage was wonderful! Negatives: reception hours are weird 9am-8pm but when I called at 7:30pm they were already gone. We also requested toilet paper (we only had 1 roll for 2 bathrooms for the full weekend) which was never brought. Speaking of toilet paper - everything is 1ply -TP, Kleenex, paper towel - feels very cheap. TV remote was broken, but, again- reception was closed so we couldn’t get help with it. For the heavy price of our stay I would’ve expected better service and higher quality products. Also the gym & hot tub hours - locked until 9am which feels unnecessarily late to open up.

I have not even begun my stay at the Painted Boat but I have received 5* service from Sherri as I called to do my booking for a stay, spa and restaurant visit. She was so pleasant, went above and beyond and helped my friend and I book the ideal spa getaway for Spring Break! I have travelled the world visiting spa resorts and I have never received such kind service. I can’t wait for my stay!

We booked the Painted Boat Resort from February 3-6, 2025. The night before we left there was a snow storm and the highway on the sunshine coast was a mess. The drive was long as we had to wait for hours for the traffic to clear. After we arrived at the resort the power went out for 25 hours. Derry who works at the resort was very helpful with shoveling the driveway and walkways. He also came in and showed us how to light out bbq so we could boil water and cook. Our spa services we're cancelled because of the weather and staff being able to report to work. The spa manager Sherri took care of us on checkout. We really appreciate the help we received from the 2 individuals listed above. We will be back!

Our visit at The Painted Boat hotel was amazing! The service was so great. The people at the reception were really kind and helpful too. Our room was wide and had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The fitness room was also reasonably spaced and had a huge pool with a big view of the ocean! We highly recommend this place.

I visited the spa but did not sleep over at the resort. Very lovely spa, nice outdoor area. Staff could have had more experience, though it overall was a good experience! I booked a treatment with a bath included and the bath was like 8 minutes or something. Very short. It felt rushed. Outdoor area needs some work - very pricey spa to be sitting next to a chain link fence with landscaping fabric on it.

Had a beautiful December weekend here. It was so quiet and lovely. Rooms were clean and loved the full kitchen for breakfasts! The Lagoon Restaurant was fabulous! The spa was wonderful I had the glacial wrap.

We went for a long weekend break to escape the every day routines. To start with it is so easy to get to the resort with a short ferry ride followed by a pleasant drive. We were happy to get an amazing, bright, pet friendly, corner suite with great views over the water. It immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed, ready to enjoy our break. The suite was clean and clearly well maintained, and when (through user error) we could not work the barbecue the maintenance staff were quick to respond and friendly, quickly telling us how to operate it. We loved wandering around the resort and took an easy walk at Francis point provincial park, enjoying the beautiful views Unfortunately both us managed to catch some bug on the last day and the front desk was amazing ensuring we were ok and letting us stay in our room until closer to our ferry time.
