Paintshop Hostel

Had an absolute blast during my stay at the Paintshop Hostel! The hostel is clean, comfortable, very chill and friendly staff; everything you’d want for a hostel experience. They take care of the surfing classes for you. We had a fun night out in the city and a chill movie night at the cozy movie room. Even the owners came to say hi and were very kind. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for everything Pat and the rest of the staff 🙏

We stayed with a family of 5, kids ages 5-7. We had a family room with private bathroom. The staff was amazing. There were fun parties to watch the Euro Football finals, tips on best places to eat and shop, they arranged surf lessons on demand and provided transportation there. Breakfast was really good and overall it felt like a home for the week we were there. The family that runs it is amazing and they select really good staff to keep the good vibes. Everything in town is a 10-15 minute easy walk, no transportation needed except for surf lessons.

Great hostel! From the free breakfast, to an easy and welcoming check in, to offering beach umbrellas and towels, it is very clear that every detail of this hostel has been thoughtfully considered to give you the best possible experience. From the get go Debbie and Steve warmly welcomed us and coming here felt homely and safe, with a great set up. Highly recommend.

A friend and I spent a week here to go surfing/take surf lessons. By far the best hostel I've been to. Very clean with nice extras like hairdryer and haircurler in the bathroom, furniture in great condition, each room has its own motto, which was cute. The staff were extremely helpful and nice! Debby (the owner) was super nice, organized day trips for us, they were all super relaxed and flexible about driving us to the surf lessons, all in all a great experience! What I also liked was that the people staying at the hostel were very mixed age groups - made it a extra pleasant stay.

Best hostel for sure!! The employees welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like home. They helped us with everything we needed and we were so sad to leave just after one night. The room is clean and cozy, the common areas are decorated and welcoming. The breakfast was great with eggs that you could cook to yourself, cheese, bread, cereals, butter, jam and hot/cold drinks. Guys if you choose the paintshop hostel you'll not regret it!

Went with a few friends we all Stopped for 4 days at the paintshop hostel and can’t wait to return. This is my second visit. Great place, amazing friendly staff made our stay amazing . Brilliant facilities, pool table, fresh breakfast, sports on tv, bikes for hire, surf lessons can be arranged. Lovely friendly couple who own it can’t do enough to make your stay perfect in this amazing hostel. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend for people to stay here.
