Palac Akropolis

Nice little venue, bit of a rabbit warren with various corridors and small bars all over. Good sound quality. Nice main bar/restaurant next door. Staff pleasant. Good atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

Went for a concert there, nice venue, small but cosy and the receptionist is friendly. The street parking is payable. There is a bar inside, The sound and light management is good.

I think it has a good acoustic but it's not properly ventilated.

Great medium sized venue. Upstairs balcony has some tiered seats, some people sat down but most stood up. Downstairs is standing only. Cloakroom is 50kc, cash only. Bar is reasonably priced, 55kc for a pint of beer. We saw Moon Hooch here on 09/10/22 and were very impressed. The only thing that could've been improved was the ventilation - it got quite warm toward the end.

Really nice experience! Love the bars there. Went for the “as long as we live” static performance.

Beautiful restored art deco style theatre run by really nice people with a brilliant original performance programme and lovely bar. Worth a visit if you are in Prague.

Great venue, there are 2 floors for the audience and the stage is pretty big. There is a bar where you can pay cash and card, the prices are pretty standard however they leave you with a plastic cup.

This is a legendary club/theatre/concert hall/restaurant in Žižkov. I go there mainly for concerts or theatre performancies. But many people like to enjoy the club´s atmosphere. Because, as we say in Vinohrady or Žižkov: If you don´t know where to go at 2am, just go to Akropolis, because there is always someone :-) OK, first of all concerts and theatre performancies. Acoustic is pretty good. It´s not huge but still. There can be around 250 sitting people for a theatre performance and 1000 standing for a concert. Mainly not so known bands and theatre groups play here but there are from time to time some famous and known ones. Club is divided into more rooms. And there are different music styles in each of them. Plus there are some "quiet" places. There two bars but one is only for coctails and shots. The other one has also beer. Restaurant is kind an average. It´s usually very smokey so get ready for it or sit outside. Yes, they have a garden. On the sidewalk next to the street, but the street is not so busy, so it doesn´t matter. Meals are ok. Beer is from Pilsen. So I would definitely recommend this place for its cultural events but not really for a gastronomical experience.

I like this place. It is one of those, "I don't really know what I am in the mood for so let's go here" type places. The menu offers up a wide variety of yummy treats ranging from something for the die hard carnivores to appeasing the vegetarians in the group. I am pretty sure they even have some vegan food type stuff. The food is always pretty good, with large portions and plenty of bacon. Seriously they put bacon in EVERYTHING, except the vegetarian stuff. There is pretty decent seating options and even when packed it never seems to be too smokey, which is AWESOME! They also have a decent cocktail selection if for some reason you should be tired of beer.

One of my favorite places to go in Žižkov. Food is great and very reasonably priced, portions are huge and the overall atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind. Love Palác Akropolis!

Really enjoyed myself. My friend and I went for jazz music and we found electronic, funky and obviously jazz music. A must for all the tourist and citizens!

Good Saturday night dance club for 25+ age group. Just not many women inside. Two different dance floors and good vibe there. Only a 3 because you can smoke inside. Yuck!

This place is really multifunctional. I've seen plays in the theater, as well as concerts, and there are two bars with two different djs spinning late into the night (Open late, but varies, but I've wound up there until 4 in the morning). On the main floor there is a really good restaurant with excellent vegetarian options. I'd recommend getting the "Cizy" if you're looking for some finger foods for a group. It's basically just home made chips with different cheese sauces. But the portion is ridiculously huge for the price so get it with a friend. Another favorite is the Hindu Kush vegetarian cous cous which comes with a very thick cream sauce and is quite rich and satisfying.
