Poços de Caldas is a city to go back in time. The fascinating architecture did take all my attention during the trip. The Palace Hotel is a big prove about this: the feeling to walk through the gardens is really fresh and you can go back in time looking at the nature and seeing the history present in the streets of Urca Complex, where Palace hotel is located.

The hotel is located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, attractions and more. The breakfast buffet was such a treat. So much food there’s no way to try it all. The courtyard garden was amazing. You can spend an hour looking at all the various plants and flowers.

My stay at the Palace Hotel was exceptional! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm smile and attentive staff. The facilities are elegant and well-maintained, providing a luxurious and comfortable environment. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The decor was sophisticated, and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Additionally, the panoramic view of the city from the window was breathtaking. The room service was prompt and efficient, with a variety of delicious options on the menu. The breakfast offered at the restaurant was plentiful and tasty, with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits, and freshly baked bread. The hotel amenities were also excellent. The well-equipped gym and relaxing pool provided moments of leisure and well-being during my stay. Furthermore, the hotel's central location made it easy to access various tourist attractions and restaurants. What truly stood out at the Palace Hotel was the attentive and helpful staff. They were always ready to assist and ensure that my stay was perfect. The customer service was impeccable at all times, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest. I wholeheartedly recommend the Palace Hotel. If you are looking for a luxury accommodation experience with comfort, elegance, excellent service, and a convenient location, this is the ideal place. I can't wait to come back!

Location is unbeatable. The hotel is aging, but it maintains a sense of grandeur. The rooms are basic, almost spartan, but comfortable. Some rooms are recently renovated but our courtyard facing balcony room was not one of them. Courtyard facing is charming but it can definitely get noisy. The thermal pool was very nice, and the kids recreation room was fantastic. I have a 5 year old that did not get bored in 3 days. Special mention to the recreation team, Mateus and Leo, they are wonderful! Decent breakfast with plenty of options (mostly carbs) though it's the same everyday. Ate dinner at the hotel one night, it was standard buffet fare, we didn't go back for other meals there. I would stay again because the location is amazing and it's great for families.

Does not live up to its fame, I've written a detailed review on Booking. Summing up, room wasn't the one I booked, staff not That friendly, shortage of towels for the swimming pool, breakfast too basic for a hotel like that. The building itself is an attraction given its age and architecture, well maintained.

I haven't booked this hotel but I had a lunch there. The Palace Hotel is very beautifull and traditional in Poços de Caldas. The lobby is very well decorated in a classical way. The restaurant is also very beautifull and the chandeliers are really marvellous. The food was good but the wonderful dessert made me eat more than I had imagined...rsrsrs

Unfortunately pretty deception place ever for Staycation. My wife and I have sure we will have some great time, celebrations but won't. Was a nightmare. Do not recommend any room till they rebuilding it again, need much attention , clean, kindness, they need to re-establish and restructure it. We know due to pandemic situation things get worse but on my experience , don't waste your money on place for while. Ps: Pretty dirty rooms, pool ( big attraction) need more attention and clean, carpets, doors all need to rebuilding and maintenance and the end hurry up to eat your breakfast or maybe little late will be different than early time. Hope one day we can be invited to go back again and feel exactly what it would be, Kingdom kindness from a Palace Hotel.

Really good hotel, old and kind of italian architecture, really beautiful. It's an old hotel that got some restoration. The room is big and very comfortable even tough it's kind of an old style room. The food is really good and the service is also very good. The swimming pool has sulfonated water which is something really different but really good as well. I enjoyed a lot my stay here.
