Palace of Peace and Reconciliation

Beautiful building, both outside and inside. The opera hall is truly impressive, and the traditional outfits from different cultures look wonderful together. It’s a fully guided tour, so you never feel lost. Everyone was very kind throughout, and the place is well adapted for people with limited mobility and those in wheelchairs. Recommended!

It’s an intriguing and eyecatching building with not much to see on the inside. It’s really more of a conference and event hall rather than a museum and has only a few exhibits on interreligious dialogue and ethnic diversity. Tours are mandatory and have set times in English and Russian. The apex of the pyramid is closed for renovations. 2000 tenge for entry. Gardens around it are in a rough shape.

The museum takes about 45 minutes, with a guide accompanying you every 30 minutes. They also have English-speaking guides, and for two of us, we paid a total of 4,000 tenge for the museum.

Surprisingly it’s a museum worth to visit. Didn’t expect too much from it but really learnt many things about this building and its concept. For sure it’s undervalued place. Pity some parts are not opened and it’s renovating for the big conference~ it will be my interest to see.

The inside of the pyramid is beautiful and the guide is excellent. You can see the history of Astana and more.

Perfect place( cost 1500 pp), and you get a visit full with smile and knowledge ( tours are private, including in the ticket and going on every hour) , and you will sea a lot of marvel engineering ( of the architects”foster”), and a lot of peace photos and videos of religious conferences.

Huge building very well organised, there is a private tour guide included in the ticket which explains a lot of history. However, most of the build are offices, worth a visit in any case

Very interesting place, a guided tour is very efficient. The top of the building is amazing.
