I was amazed by Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija—the ground floor alone is covered in exquisite Roman mosaics and azulejos. It feels like walking through a passionate collector’s private mansion, packed with antiques and artifacts. Smaller scale means I could appreciate every detail without rushing. The upper floors (summer residence) add elegant living rooms with beautiful furniture. Perfect for anyone obsessed with tiles and archaeology like me. A unique and intimate palace experience.

The Palace of the Countess of Lebrija is a stunning Moorish residence. Entry to the first floor is free, but I highly recommend visiting the second floor as well. The upstairs rooms are beautifully preserved and give fascinating insights into the life of the Countess. The true highlight of the palace is its Roman art collection, especially the impressive mosaic floors. A visit here is absolutely worth it!

Beautiful palace, well worth visiting! Self tour on the ground floor. Guided on the first floor in Spanish or English. Beautiful mosaic floors from the local Roman city of Italica.

Beautiful palace to explore with 3rd century roman mosaic floors. Keep in mind it costs 15 euros at the door, so best purchased through getyourguide and the likes.

It’s great if you like Roman mosaics, artifacts and beautiful tile. The contessa was a collector and she bought the 16th century palace in 1901 and spent the next 13 years adding mosaic floors from Italica, tiles from a 16th century convent and collections of all sorts. It is an amazing place, still in the family but primarily a museum.

This is an amazing place to visit. Make sure you book a tour for the upper rooms. The Countess was a lady ahead of times with things like sunglasses in her collection. A remarkable woman in the male dominated world of archaeology. The mosaics are superb. The upper rooms fascinated me. Lovely staff. A great young lady gave a very informative talk in English. Great place to visit in Seville.

This house is really beautiful and has many interesting artifacts. I found the ground floor more interesting than our guided tour upstairs, but part of that was because of some really rude and distracting other tourists in our group unfortunately. The bottom level is self guided, and has many books and crannies to explore. No photos were allowed upstairs.

An absolutely stunning palace-museum, showcasing Roman mosaics and elegant Moorish architectural elements. The collection of artifacts from different parts of the world is both rich and fascinating. The guided tour was exceptionally well done, making the visit even more rewarding. Truly a hidden gem in Seville.

Yelp
A quiet palace on very busy Calle Cuna, Palacio de la Condea de Lebrija, the former home of Regla Manjón Mergelina, feels a lot like Casa de Pilatos. What's different here, though, is the abundance of stunning mosaics (don't miss the octagonal mosaic!), and the endless display cases of Muslim pottery. I particularly enjoyed the top floor (like the Casa de Pilatos, one has to take a "guided tour" of the top floor - by guided tour, I mostly mean that a tour guide will briefly show you around the upstairs) where one can see the amazing dining room, the Countess' private chapel, the library (with 6,000 books), and portraits of the Countess and her family. The one thing to hold in mind is that the tours are on a schedule, and there's a fairly big gap in tours in the afternoon. We arrived at 3pm, and the next tour was scheduled for 4:30. We paid the extra 2E per person for the tour (the bottom floor is 6E, the full house is 8E) not quite realizing how small the bottom floor is - after about 30 minutes, we had enjoyed the bottom floor. Luckily, the guard said we could leave and come back five minutes before the tour.
