Beautiful building that is still active today. I recommand visiting the inner court, it is quite nice too. Also: come on weekends when people don't work!

The Palacio de Los Principes-Obispos is the former seat of the Prince-Bishops of Liege. It’s an imposing building dominating the entire northern side of Place St Lambert. The facade is similar to renaissance style. It’s fine to wander around the courtyard and the cloisters, which are still amazing to look at, but it’s not possible to enter the building, but the city had the foresight to provide plaques with information about the building. I think there are 60 columns supporting the arcade in the courtyard area and each is supposed to be unique. I had a good look at quite a lot of them and could not see any duplication. A fantastic building, pity it’s not really open to the public.

Architect is beautiful. Visiting can be done in like 5 min because there’s nothing to do. So it’s suitable to just drop by if it happened to be on your way. No need to come here for it
