Palace Playland – A Jedi’s Guide to Beachside Thrills 🌊🎢✨ Strong with the Force, this seaside park is—but timing is key. Rides open around 4 PM on weekdays, earlier on weekends. Closing time? Usually after 10 PM, but crowd size and weather steer the ship. 🎟️ All-Day Pass = best value for back-to-back rides. Prefer arcades and midway trials? Reloadable credits can be used across the park—never expire, and are sharable. Bonus credits for big reloads, you’ll get. 👶👦🧔 Rides for every Jedi rank—just check height requirements before boarding your speeder. Lines mid-week? Often minimal. We visited on a Thursday and rarely waited more than one cycle. 🎇 Fireworks Thursdays at 9:45 PM (late June–mid-Aug). July 4th brings a bigger show. Best viewed from the beach—truly epic. Ride smart, choose wisely, and always follow the glow of the midway. This is the way.

Fun little amusement park by the beach. Large arcade, lots of carnival foods, games and rides plus a rollercoaster. Our family had a lot of fun, but money doesn't go far here. The rides are so expensive it's worth the all day pass, but the park doesn't open for rides until 4 pm weekdays so we didn't get much time out of it. The lines were short which was great, my kids were able to walk on to all of the rides on a weeknight.

Google
Pretty cool place to take your kids to have a fun afternoon! Arcade and carnival games are paid for separate from rides so its gets pricey. Little kids can only ride about a dozen rides. Pretty good gf options for fast food at a few places. Beautiful views since you're right on the beach. Definitely do the ferris wheel at sunset!

Google
A wonderful and comprehensive place where young and old enjoy themselves. The staff are very cooperative and fun. At night, the atmosphere is very beautiful. We returned at nine o'clock at night. One of the best things is that it does not close early

We came down to Old Orchard Park to do the "Boardwalk" experience. We went on a Wednesday evening in the summer so parking was fairly easy to find. It did cost $15, but that isn't too bad in my opinion. The parking was only a few blocks from the destination so that also made it worth the money. There are rides, carnival games and arcade games at this place. We were there primarily for the rides so didn't do any of the games. You buy tickets at kiosks (either manned or self serve like an ATM). You can either buy a rechargeable card or a day pass (if you are staying for an extended period do time say a week or more, there is a season pass that may make sense as well). We opted for the standard rechargeable card mainly because we wanted to "run out" of credits to make leaving easier with our two 9 year old kids. It was by no means the best financial option. If you are going to spend a few hours or more here, get the day pass. Its $50 per person or so (depends on the day of the week) and it gives you unlimited access to all the rides. Each of the more exciting rides is in the 25-35 credit range and a $50 rechargeable card gives you 210 credits or roughly 6-7 rides. The other thing is that all the games use the card too (cashless) if I am not mistaken so you would have to add cash credits to the card to play the different carnival and arcade games. Being a Wednesday evening it was fairly quiet and the kids got to ride without having to wait long (usually waiting for a ride to finish and unload). We didn't stumble across a ride they couldn't ride on their own. Younger/Smaller kids will have more restrictions. Most of the bigger kid rides you need to be 48 inches tall. It was a lot of fun watching them race to the next ride and scream their little hearts out!

Google
Super fun. A bit pricey but we had a great time. $40 for my husband and I to go on the bumper cars, carousel and ferris wheel.

Google
I guess I was too busy having fun to take pics inside the arcade 😅😎. We had a blast tho 🎉🥳🎂 happy birthday son. Big ticket wins, impossible cuts made to win a huge stuffed moose, delicious food and drinks everywhere, shop till you drop, beautiful sandy beach with life guards on duty, cool cars to rent, ocean was lovely as ALWAYS 💕, make your own cool ass hat ☺️ our birthday boy says EVERYTHING about this place was his FAVORITE 👏😅🥰 Definitely come play here 💯 WE VISITED ON FRIDAY

Google
I have been coming here for years and this was the first year I was disappointed. The new card system that gives credits was confusing. I thought going to an actual person at the ticket booth would be better. But turns out I did not get my monies worth and I should have just used the card machine on my own. I was gypt out of 2 rides I could have gotten if they had told me I needed to spend 1 more dollar. My son is too small right now to ride their kiddie rides but could go on the carousel and Ferris wheel with a paying adult to hold him. $19.00 for 1 time on each was a ripoff and the young kids working aren't very approachable or informative on how things work. Maybe next year things will be better.
google avatar

Kathleen J.

Yelp
Small little seaside amusement park. It's a pay per ride system, but I will say, it's actually kinda pricey because even though credits are 25 cents each, many rides take 36 credits each, which equates to about 9 dollars. The wristbands are 50 dollars each.
google avatar

Shanina S.

Yelp
Palace Playland is a seasonal amusement park located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. It has operated on the same site since 1902. It's a great place to bring the kids and the amusement park is surrounded by restaurants and local businesses. Palace Playland is located directly on the waterfront, across Maine State Route 9 from the Old Orchard Beach family vacation.
google avatar

Flux R.

Yelp
Fun amusement park outside with a lot of vendors for fried dough, ice cream, and even Chinese food. It was lots of fun. The whole family went and we just walked around and explored. You can put credit on the card to use towards rides or games in the arcade
google avatar

Liam H.

Yelp
I went to parlance playland and couple of days ago, if you plan to do more than five rides then definitely get the unlimited wristband. But if you just want to pop in for a bit then tickets are the way to go. If you go with the ticket option you can use those tickets for rides, carnival games, and arcade games. Speaking of games the arcade is quite affordable and fun, the prizes are marked up pretty high though. The carnival games are a SCAM! They cost nearly 5x the amount of arcade games and they are almost impossible to win. There are a few good rides here but if you get headaches easily don't do most rides. Sea viper and the hang gliders are fun thrill rides. There are lots of places to eat nearby too. Palace playland is also on the beach which is nice. Overall I wouldn't recommend unless you're at Old Orchard Beach. 3/5 stars
google avatar

Quinn H.

Yelp
Definitely has a carnival vibe, but rides are fun and it's right near a beach. Prices are STEEP!

Yelp
Stopped Old Orchard Beach for a day trip. Stopped In to pass the time. Bought a card. Played.some games. The SEGA Daytona Game took our tokens twice. 2 times X 4 = 8 Tokens Stolen. Otherwise. It has a big selection of new and retro games
google avatar

Megan G.

Yelp
Our kids had a blast here! This had an old-timey amusement-park feel but very clean & well-kept.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
This is a great place to go if you've got a free evening and have young kids. There is no entry free and you can get an inexpensive ride pass for your kids to ride unlimited. That's what we did. The temperature was great (late August), my daughter loved the rides, and they even have fair-type food to round out the experience. And the view from the Ferris wheel? Gorgeous! A beautiful sight of the pier and the ocean.
google avatar

Cosmo X.

Yelp
Well, it looks like they updated it so there's no cash involved to buy the cards slightly expensive but a good selection of games to kill time with and play
google avatar

Stan H.

Yelp
Retro fairgrounds in a sea of okay food overall. Very casual and fun. Some clothing and such for the more liberal or for the angsty teenager who may want to rebel or just feel cool such as clothing in a pink shirt that supports medicine that not everyone may agree with or only within certain conditions. I liked similar t-shirts when I was younger and still do but I am more picky about what I get. If one random shirt was placed randomly in a more typically conservative tourist store or one random person was placed in a random upscale neighborhood, I might just think they are a person or thing with different style rather than someone or something that appears to be typically working class. Including a guy relatives saw with tattoos all over and a tank top- I might not have assumed so and so was working class if in a poshier environment. In the end, you realize that you only know more when you get to know a person more. Food where salad and vegan options are particularly limited. Being in this world reminded me that there are other little "nibblets" of fun that I am not used to. It had me starting to miss my cell and computer laptop games. Currently 75 cents for a bathroom at the Pier and free near the arcade or I got lucky.

Yelp
Came here with my daughter on our visit to Maine for the summer. We decided to get 2 booklets of 50 tickets for $70 which saves us a few bucks. Wish when we were there the large coaster wasn't closed but appreciated that they gave us warning at the ticket window.. The rides were great. My daughter had an amazing time! They had a slushy bar where you could mix like 15 flavors. If you brought a souvenir cup you could refill it for a certain price. They had rides like the wave, the slide, the teacups, a roller coaster, the pirate ship, Ferris wheel and a huge spinning round one that rocked back and forth. The arcade was full of so many games! And at the end we cashed in tickets for some pretty cool gifts. We even had a stranger give us their card with a couple hundred points to add to ours! They had food located on the outskirts of it and there was this cute ice cream spot across the park. The restrooms are also located across the street We have a Playland in NY and it was nice to see the comparison. It was also ironic we this one is located in Old Orchard Beach when we too have an orchard beach area in NY. It is also the only amusement park in the NE located on a boardwalk. The beach is located right next to it (attached practically) and we paid for parking in the area. Definitely worth the time and memories

Yelp
50 CENTS TO USE THE BATHROOM??? And its across the street??!! Just a heads up! A boardwalk on a pier with rides? Sounds like what coastal dreams are made of BUT... not here. I asked my husband is this what the Jersey shore is like or worse? It's not that it was dirty as in unkept but the patrons! Trashy. Drug addicts. We had 2 kids old enough to ride the big rides and I found it pricey to get them on three rides a piece but we had an infant with us so it would have been a waste to get a band as we had to keep a bed time. I stood in line with the kids for the rollercoaster and I didn't like the type of patrons that were surrounding us. I first hand got to watch why the process was so slow with the ride. First off- why have an employee standing at the entrance of the coaster as opposed to at the entrance of the line to measure kids? After waiting a half hour in line you tell people they are too short? What a waste of time and efficiency for PP's customer service. Also, she just didn't have all her marbles. She was extremely slow letting people on the ride and didn't help the guy who was actually running the ride at all. The guy running the ride took his sweet time as well. You have this line and it takes you probably 8 minutes to get people on and off between runs. It was very inefficient. There were a few rides closed- not sure why. Did the kids like it? Yes. Was it cool I got to see where my parents took me as a kid? Yes. Was it sad and disappointing? Yes. Is there potential? Yes. Head home before dark.

Heidi F.

Yelp
kids love the rides but i had a medical issue today while using our season passes and leaned against a game booth where no one was playing, the extremely rude girl working the frog hopper game on 7/14 at 12:30 berated me to get up as I told her I felt like I was fainting and could I sit a minute. I've never felt so disrespected and treated badly. I ended up throwing up after I walked away. it was an awful experience. she needs to be taught to sometimes give people grace and how to be professional. I hope the park speaks to her at the very least!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Happened upon this place on the way home and had a good time at this carnival? I don't think I'd call it an amusement park. Lots of rides for littles which was great but the prices like others have said, were too damn high! We didn't visit the arcade or play the games, we did the rides for little kids and the staff was friendly and sweet to the kids. These rides you don't have to pay to ride with your child: - Carousal - 2 tickets - Bumper cars - 4 tickets These rides you have to pay to ride with child (2 tickets) - Ferris wheel - spinning dragon The kid only rides were 2 tickets each: - big rig cars - motorcycle - cars - whales - We purchased the smaller book but quickly had to go back and get additional tickets. You probably want to just get an all day kids pass if they're going to ride multiple times. Parking is tough. There is street parking but it's sparse.
google avatar

Jordyn B.

Yelp
Rides were fun, arcade was fun. Sunday night was way less busy than Saturday. My kids had a great time and so did I. Things to improve: cleanliness, otherwise it was a good time.
google avatar

Notoya S.

Yelp
On a cold May Day this is a god sent ; I love the fact that a lot of the games are under $1 so you actually feel like your covering a lot of the games in the space. $20 goes a long way here with two active kids . The staff was pretty helpful and appeared to work together well when a machine would register the quarters we put in; overall, I can say that I would return in the warmer months to enjoy a day here and at the beach .
google avatar

Skye G.

Yelp
Sun Sand Amusements and Beach Food! Grew up going here with friends and my dad and have fond memories with my family. Lisa's Pizza, Fried Dough, Clam Cakes, ice cream, rides, fireworks. Over the years they have put money into clean up and keep it going which is nice. The salt air and winter can do a number to the buildings and grounds. The rides are pricey so I remind myself it is about the memories and just bite the bullet. My girls love to ride. Between the beach, food, and rides they are pretty happy campers. There are a variety of parking lots and parking along the railroad tracks. However, they have also blocked access to the beach so that you need to walk all the way down and enter mainly through the center. There is a fresh water spout for rinsing toes near the carousel. You can stay at any of the hotel/motels but many of them can have a min number of nights to stay. There are also places you can rent by the week or campgrounds with beach shuttles.
google avatar

Aidan B.

Yelp
We were staying at one of my moms friend's beach house my mom sent me and me my brother with 100$ to get day passes my brother took me on the crayzyest rides it was a blast despite the fact that I nearly threw up.
google avatar

Courtney P.

Yelp
Almost a year into the pandemic, and the majority of staff and management still are not wearing masks or have come up with any alternative solutions. *IF* some employees have a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they should not be working with the public and putting all the families in danger who go and spend money there. My family and I are local and have been coming here for years, but today we had to leave immediately (after wasting $20) because it is simply extremely unsafe. I'm not even blaming staff, but SHAME ON THE MANAGEMENT AND OWNER(S) of this establishment. It is your responsibility to provide a safe place for families. if you can't do that, close until you can guarantee a safe business. Completely unacceptable.
google avatar

Nick L.

Yelp
This is a fun little place but the prices are ridiculous. For a full pass on all the rides it's $37. For a small carnival that's a lot. Especially when you can go to Funtown down the road. I also must mention the freaking claw machines are beyond rigged. Yes, I get that they adjust the sensitivity but my kids played several times on a bunch of machines and the claw doesn't tighten at all. A bit much.
google avatar

Bj N.

Yelp
Where do I begin.... The rides are way overpriced, dangerous, and the staff is RUDE!!! Went on the coaster. And felt like I should have said my final goodbyes to friends/family. Rusted, rickety, and the "safety" bar didn't even lock in place. Went to the carousel where my cousin and I were asked our weight, and proceeded to be shown a sign of the weight limit. While I'm not the thinnest person in the world, there's a gentler approach. Especially when you see two people twice your size walk off the carousel..... DO NOT GO!!! About to go get a tattoo that says "wide load". Thanks Palace Playland!!!

Jacey R.

Yelp
The manager of Playand Palace telling me I could expect my full refund in 3-5 days. But not attesting to such fact after cutting off the bracelets of my two children ages 11 and 14 because they were overweight to ride at 150lbs!!!! Don't come hear if you expect to be treated with respect even if you may be on the heavier side. I'f you expect to be gaslit into submission by all means patron this shit hole!! I left in tears after the treatment my family received after waiting all day for Playland Palace to open.
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
Two stars as it entertained my 7 year old for the afternoon. My gripe is the exorbant prices for rides that havent changed in 15 years. $37 for a ride bracelet. That's nuts. Yes it costs money to run these places, but the jersey shore has bracelet days and only charges $25 for better, safer and cleaner rides. Ocean city even donates some of the proceeds to charity from their bracelet sales. Some of the rides honestly, felt unsafe. The new coaster, the viper had very stiff safety bars that didn't close all the way, and the teens working the ride did no safety checks. The log flume really should be shut down. You have to sit all the way up to front, tallest person first..I can see why as we nearly flew out. My daughter wound up under me and I sat on her....its just too rough and shouldn't work like that. I think they could make it better if they upgraded the rides to be safer and charge a more reasonable fee for the bracelets and tickets. $1.50 a ticket makes most rides $6 and up. I'm all for the novelty of rides by the beach, but not at that price.

Jos G.

Yelp
So disappointed this year! Its July and half the rides aren't open. Also, because they changed their opening hours to 4 pm instead of noon as in the past, the lines are obnoxiously long! We attempted to wait in a huge line to buy season passes, but gave up and just bought tickets for 3 little ones costing $70. Understaffed, overpriced, and they couldn't even get it together to open the one and only ladies room!

Francis P.

Yelp
This place hired a women who fat shamed my brother and didn't let him go on the ride. They also didn't let us not where shirts when we are next to the ocean. They also banned us because we were hyped up over how chill one of the employees were. Even though they all were chill. The manager is not so chill.
google avatar

Kris W.

Yelp
Our family had a blast here on our recent Old Orchard Beach vacation. I have a 15 year old & a 4 year old so we opted for the 2 day passes which ran us about $75. Since we were staying next door we could go in the morning & night both days to maximize our fun. The wait for rides wasn't long at all & there's enough variety where you can always find something. It's big enough where you can enjoy yourself but still go on every ride. We stayed away from the arcade but played two games successful. Staff was pretty friendly & accommodating. I'd definitely go back as it was one of the highlights of our trip.
google avatar

Diego P.

Yelp
located by the pier its something for the kids to do it has plenty of arcades and rides nothing spectacular but enough stuff to keep the kids entertained you can buy an all day band or a book of tickets it all depends on how long you plan to stay the staff was helpful we encounter two defective machines and they refunded our money if your visiting Old Orchard and have kids it worth taking a walk around

Jen J.

Yelp
My family has rented a beach house at Old Orchard the last 2 summers and will be back next year. We always stay in walking distance of Palace Playland as we visit nightly during our stay. Great arcade, rides & food.
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
After spending the day at the beach, there is no way you can't stop at this amusement park near the pier. Palace Playland is a great little amusement park and arcade. The last time we came here we hit up some games and bought a few corn dogs. The prices here are your typical amusement park rates, so come loaded with a pocket full of cash if you want to have a good time. P.S. the staff here is actually really pleasant... who would have thought?
google avatar

Tracy B.

Yelp
Was up for a few days last week. Prices are great, Bought some 2 Day passes and was able to ride all day. I feel like when I was a kid there was way more rides, but maybe thats just me. Games are great as you usually win Everytime you play. It was dead when we went (Week After 4th of July - I def plan to go back same week next year) Rides are great for my 6 and almost 2 year old. Had the kids been much older they might have been easily bored, not sure how much longer I can keep coming & my sons will be entertained as I think its more for younger children. But we had fun.... Arcade is huge & there are several options...
google avatar

Alexandra M.

Yelp
If you think they'll still be open for an hour get the unlimited pass. I did 10 rides in an hour, you can too! You just have to ride 6 to get your money's worth. The rides are so much fun and there are rides for everyone.
google avatar

Cody N.

Yelp
This was probably one of the greatest arcades I have ever visited. Fair prices and good claw machine payouts for an amusement park. They really need to train their staff though. Won a $100 camera out of keymaster but got stuck in the chute. They looked at me as if I was lying. Had to get another worker. Pain in the a$$

Erica F.

Yelp
Before high season, opened at 11am. Now it's the end of June it opens at 4pm. I don't get it. Tried to take my kids here on a summer Sunday. All of OOB open except this place. A huge bummer.
google avatar

jack p.

Yelp
Was raining so not a beach day so we spent some $$$$$$$$$$$$&& had a good time won a lot of tickets and to big balls
google avatar

Marilyn V.

Yelp
I love this place. I'm fortunate enough to be able to go often, just to soak in the atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to stock more prizes with the Palace Playland logo on them. Everything else can be purchased at a discount store. My family likes to pool all our tickets at the end of the season and select a prize for my mom to remember the season by. By the way, the mechanical fortune teller is a true relic. There used to be an identical one in Iowa City Iowa. Wonder what became of that one. If you go there on an off peak night, be sure to park in a private lot. The town of Old Orchard Beach doubled the price of the meters to $2 an hour. For five dollars, you can purchase all day parking at a private lot and not worry about getting a ticket.
google avatar

Shannon O.

Yelp
This is more of an overpriced carnival if anything. Lines were short so that was good! The games are an absolute waste of money and most definitely rigged! We had an issue with one of the water shooting games that my daughter clearly won however the game said someone else did even that person was like "how'd i win?" There was another family who had the same issue. And skip the arcade inside the prize table is a free for all and the girl who helped us cashing out our tix was so rude to everyone she encountered. I think we left with a freakin pencil and lolipop for 300 tickets . All in all it's good for older kids to go over when they get bored at the beach.
google avatar

Chrissy H.

Yelp
Busy? Not on the chilly and misty evening we were there. Expensive? Quite. Tacky? Yes, please. Three of us went, had a couple drinks and then tipsily wondered through the arcade playing air hockey, Big Buck Hunter, Galaga, and Mrs.Pacman. We got to smash into total strangers while laughing hysterically on the Bumper Cars. Toured the midway and enjoyed the bright colorful lights. We walked on the pier where we made fun of the pizza place's sign pointing patrons toward the "dinning room." And then we ate gross carnival food for dinner when we finally admitted we were going to give up on our trek to Portland for an actual nice dinner. I can imagine that this place could get horribly busy on an actual nice summer day. But it is what you make of it. If you go with high hopes, you'll be let down. But pretend you're a kid, and its a blast.
google avatar

N. N.

Yelp
Over priced and everything staff member there are Canadian, who all speak French back and.forth to each other, while.pointing and.laughing at random tourist. It's rude. The rides seem like they are kept up. There appears to be no set closing time as we walked around there until a little after midnight and.only one.or two rides/games where closed. This by no means is a six flags, or a big amusement park, it's more like a town fair, but they charge as if you are at six flags. The staff just made everyone uncomfortable, they speak English, but talk to each other in French, and like I said, they will all point and laugh or make faces, so we all know they are talking bad about people and it's just rude and awkward. Sum it up. Rude staff, over priced for a town fair.
google avatar

Yelp
This review is for the arcade only. The arcade is old and out of shape. Some games don't work (i.e. the basketball game, there are about 6 units and half are not functioning). They are also understaffed. There is one gentleman who is taking care of adding tickets to the games or resolving issues. He had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. He was very nice and he deserves a raise. That was the only positive thing about the arcade. It's not even worth playing the games! Dont get me started on the Eclaw machines , those are rigged for those who didn't know. The arcade prizes are so overpriced in terms of tickets, it's a rip-off. It's about $1 to play the games and from looking at the prizes, you need about 500 tickets to breakeven and get something of equal value to the $1. It's insane!! I do not recommend.
google avatar

Natalie G.

Yelp
Eh , it was alright. Haven't been in a few years, spent most of our time in the arcade, then decided to hit up some rides. The ride operators didn't do safety checks to make sure everyone was secure, and they all looked very miserable. We all decided to skip out early and take the 10 minute drive to Funtown Splashtown-had way more fun, we all complained about how we should have gone there in the first place!
google avatar

Walter L.

Yelp
If I could give no stars I would! RIP OFF!!! Won a jackpot and machine didn't payout. Went to get staff and they looked at me like I had two heads. Management was zero help and told us that they could not help and said we were lying. The games are RIGGED!!! Play at your own risk! Don't expect to hear the customer is always right at this JUNKYARD!
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
I've been coming to Palace Playland for years and years. It's fun.. it's great.. I still go.. but the prizes at the arcade are just crazy. I still play the games and I cash in my tickets since I never come back to even save up for a crappy prize. What an led light sign costs 1,200 tickets? Why? Why? Anyway, the rides are fun and there fine. The tilt a whirl is my personal favorite.
google avatar

Andy S.

Yelp
On the expensive side, but worth it 10+ rides 1 rollercoaster Arcade with skeeball, and regular arcade games Great food Nice atmosphere Super fun night for family Bring money!
google avatar

Jake A.

Yelp
Incredibly expensive for what it is. You can get a day pass, but with multiple kids or adults, you are looking at hundreds of dollars. Each ticket is about $1.50 so riding one ride is $6. Get the day pass if you want to take more than a couple rides. Luckily you can just roam around and that costs nothing. The games are $3 each. It's cheaper to go to a state fair. With several other options down the road (Aquaboggen, Funtown USA, etc) this is really just good if the whole family wants to be on the beach all day with a quick activity to break up the day. Rides were well marked with height and weight restrictions and a variety of food options are right there too. Rides were fun but I think our adults had more fun than the kids!

Yelp
I love the fact that there are still places like Palace Playland around. In the era of super-sized amusement parks like Six Flags, I love the idea of there still being a place that's just a tiny collection of rides and games you can wander through without having to pay $40 to step into the park. I love that it's in the middle of a bunch of other stuff rather than being it's own island accessible only by a very long drive. The rides don't seem to have changed much since I was a kid in the 80s. For that matter, neither have many of the carnival style games. The arcade is now largely ticket machines and a handful of racing games, since kids aren't going to spend the afternoon plunking quarters into Elevator Action and Double Dragon. The ticket/wristband prices seem a little extravagant for what you're getting, but overall I love it. The area seems both less busy and less sketchy than I remember it as a kid. I'm not sure if that's just my perspective changing or if it actually reflects the area becoming less of a trashy tourist trap.

Yelp
Came here while we were on vacation in the area. I love places like this! The open air arcade kept me occupied for a solid 2 hours. Lots of rides and games to be played, as well as lots of food vendors for when you want something greasy! I only bought 8 tickets so my fiance and I could ride the ferris wheel. Well worth the wait and the money. The view is awesome! Complete view of the beach and pier, as well as the main strip of OOB. I can't wait to come back to the area so that I can have more fun at Palace Playland!

Yelp
Total horror show. Rude staff over priced not family friendly. Better to go to fun town splash town USA. More things to do and nicer rides.

Yelp
Ride broke while we were there, the only ride we bought tickets for. Policy is no refunds but any logical parent would not then put their kid on the ride. Manager tried to offer double the tickets to go use on other things but we were not interested in the other rides. The situation now "goes to review" by Upper management to decide if we'll be refunded. Crazy waste of $20. They won't get a penny more from me.

Yelp
love this place - we have been going to OOB since 1969 and always get in here first. If you like Skee-ball and just having fun this place will not disappoint
