My husband and I stayed at the Palacina right at the start of our honeymoon. Being so close to the centre of Nairobi (and never having gone to Africa before) we didn't quite know what to expect. Upon arriving at the hotel it was clear that this was going to be a lovely stay. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, special shout out to Sampson who helped us with our bags and with any questions we had! The first morning we were going on an early morning game drive at the Nairobi national park. We would have been too early for breakfast but the team opened up the service a whole hour earlier so we were able to eat before we left the hotel.||Our room was incredibly spacious, we had a bottle of prosecco and roses on the bed for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch!||Anyone staying in Nairobi I would highly recommend this hotel. Very safe and lovely staff!

This is a glorious place to stay when in Nairobi. It’s a tranquil oasis with incredibly friendly staff, amazing food (we’re vegetarians), and astonishingly spacious comfortable rooms. We had a huge balcony which overlooked beautiful trees and were woken up by bird song every morning. The facilities are great - swimming pool, health club, etc. But it is the staff that made us feel so welcome and at home… Samson at reception was especially thoughtful and engaging and I had great conversations with driver David. Everyone was so professional and so warm at the same time. Just a wonderful way to start our first trip to Kenya/Africa. We now have added another place to our “must visit and stay again” list!

The Pacino hotel is an oasis in the city! Beautifully appointed and landscaped, the rooms are comfortable and elegant. Each and every one of the staff we encountered was friendly, efficient and accommodating, especially Sampson at the reception desk. The hotel’s on-site safari company, Tour Africa Safaris, booked a custom safari for us that was even beyond what we had hoped for. The hotel director, Mohammed Altaf went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. The hotel Palacina is highly recommended!

My friends and I stayed at the Palacina hotel in Nairobi when we were on our Safari. This place is absolutely beautiful safe clean oasis in the very big city of Nairobi. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and accommodating with smiles and handshakes and a welcome back. My friends and I felt safe and appreciated every step of the way. I’d like to call out Samson who met us at 12:30 am after 24 hours of flying with a smile and help with our bags. He also helped us work out of a few issues.issues we had within minutes of us having them so good for him. ||We also want to thank Mohammed, who runs the travel agency and hotel as he bent over backwards to put together a five day safari for us with a 24 hour notice. Our trip was spectacular because of Muhammad and his team’s support. Five stars is not enough to rate our experience at the Palancia Hotel.

We had a lovely two night stay - it was a great base for exploring Nairobi. The hotel is in a quiet residential location, away from the noise and pollution of the main roads. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and the bed incredibly comfortable. Food in the restaurant and the breakfast were both good. I’d stay here again for sure.

We had an exceptional stay at Palacina. We stayed in one of their resident apartments and it was so lovely and quiet. It was a really nice and safe place. The breakfast and food was amazing. Special mention to Lillian who took care of our meals and was always helping us.

Clean, tranquil, and beautifully maintained — the perfect place to relax. The staff were exceptionally warm and helpful, from Samson and Vanessa at the front desk to Lilian and Florida who assisted me throughout my stay. I loved the serene grounds and the pool — everything was thoughtfully cared for and made my stay truly enjoyable.

A group of six of us recently stayed at Palancina for two nights. It’s a nice hotel in a quiet and leafy residential area. The rooms are well appointed, but a little dated, and include a separate siting area and a nice balcony to sit and look out of the lovely garden. The staff are all super friendly and we found the food lovely. I would happily recommend staying at the Palcina if you are in Nairobi.
