The rooms were great. Had the basic needs! Had to ask for an extra pillow but that was no problem. Smart Tv which was really helpful. The staff at the reception were nice. And I left my ring behind in the room when we checked out and I emailed the hotel same day and they popped it aside for me. Breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve had but basic for what you need! More variety would be nice. But fine for what it is. The location was perfect near all the buses and the train stations and a short walk from everything. And also a taxi rank near enough outside

The room is clean and tidy, the air conditioning works well, the soundproofing is decent, and the location is excellent — there's a bus stop right downstairs. The bathroom design was quite inconvenient — the toilet was unusually high and uncomfortable to use, making it hard to imagine how a child could manage on their own. While the front desk staff wasn’t overtly rude, she came across as rather indifferent and not particularly welcoming.

Average hotel, fine for one night but needs a serious refurbishment. The carpets in the halls are rotten all stained and curled up. Bedroom we stayed in was tiny, you could barely walk around the bed and I dont know where you would keep your suitcase if you were staying longer than a night. The lady at reception wasnt very friendly either but suited the average vibe of the hotel! One plus is that it is right beside the bus station.

I’m honestly shocked by how bad the customer service was at this hotel. The staff showed no empathy, no willingness to help, and absolutely no understanding of basic guest needs. Every time we had a question or issue, we were met with cold responses or completely ignored. It felt like the guests were a bother rather than a priority. There was zero effort to make us feel welcome or supported. I’ve stayed in many places, and this was by far one of the worst experiences in terms of service. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Run!! Run away from this hotel! WiFi is extremely unstable and slow! Shower went hot and cold nonstop, reported two times, no updates and no fix. Hotel decor very outdated! Door key always stops working and you have to go all the way downstairs to the front desk to have the card fixed. Overpriced and low quality hotel!!

Great location and have been coming here since it opened and since then ITS GONE DOWN HILL SIGNIFICANTLY! Some rooms have been “updated” which means the cheapest of cheap refurbishment and a smart tv. The carpet were replaced because they were full of bleach stains. The room we are in right now 1212 has a series of flaws that have been pointed out and 3 nights in have not been resolved which is an indication of the loveless management of this hotel ! The sink tap drips constantly so we put a flannel under it so we could sleep and the water actually bleached it ! Yes it bleached the Grey Boss Flannel ! The toilet is the same, runs all the time! The safe in the room doesn’t work and the shower head only is only 25% working. Don’t expect complimentary water. There was an empty bottle in the mini fridge - yes an empty bottle. The shower head is virtually empty and even if it was full doesn’t pump and attached to the wall anyways ! We have never had anything complimentary from this hotel with. Absolutely NOTHING and like I said we’ve been coming here since the get go and each time we arrive there’s new staff and treated like it’s our first visit. In essence don’t stop here unless it’s a good rate !

Do NOT stay here!!!|For a 4 star hotel (apparently), you get a moldy, and smoke smelling room because of the absolutely disgusting carpets. I have never even been in a hostel that has carpets as dirty as this. It’s been YEARS since they have cleaned, or changed.||No air-conditioning during low season, so they tell you to open the window to a traffic filled street with a lot of noise. |They do not even provide 1 bottle of water in the room, and ask you to come downstairs to get one for a ridiculous price. |There’s a TV right in front of the bed, but you can’t even use an hdmi cable, or the Netflix, YouTube, button on the controller, so it is completely useless unless you are fluent in Spanish. |This hotel literally stinks. It’s gross.|The only “good thing” I can say, is I feel bad for the staff. They have been very sweet, and you can tell even they have had enough complaints. Respect, and apologies to them for their hard work. |Again, look elsewhere. 4 stars is an absolute scam. I’m looking to get a refund.

Cockroach infestation!!! DO NOT stay here. Cockroaches crawling everywhere in the bathroom!! Filthy beyond belief. It literally stinks like old smoke, and mold. The carpets throughout the whole hotel are literally the worst I have seen, and I have travelled a lot. I had to wear socks in my hotel room. I would assume this is where the smell comes from. The is also close to no water pressure unless you take a cold shower. The shower just dribbles. I closed my bathroom door(not with force), and tile from the tub fell off, and I could see even more cockroaches crawling under there. Every room seems to be in the same state, apart from the top floor where they had actually removed the filthy carpets. However no working aircon during winter, and you cannot open the windows because of the loud traffic right outside. So you will be left without sleep. I am sorry to the staff that work here, as they have been helpful, but there has been no way to fix these deep rooted problems. Switching rooms three times unfortunately did not help, and I do not want the free breakfast they offered as I do not trust the cleanliness (I am a professional chef) This is FAR from a 4 star hotel. Health hazard at best.
