I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Palacio Ca Sa Galesa, and I must say, this place is absolutely stunning. The decoration is a perfect blend of authentic charm with a touch of contemporary style. The terrace offers an astonishing view, especially at night when you can see the cathedral all lit up—it’s truly breathtaking. The food at the hotel exceeded all my expectations. I had the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Spain here. However, if I ever return to this hotel, it won’t just be for the beautiful decor or the incredible food—it will be for the people who work there. The staff at Palacio Ca Sa Galesa are exceptional, despite there not being many of them. Olivia, in particular, stood out. I saw her all over the hotel, performing various tasks, and she always greeted me with a spontaneous smile, asking if she could help with anything. Her recommendations, both inside and outside the hotel, were fantastic. Then there’s Sabrina, who has an incredible memory. I only had to tell her once what I wanted for breakfast, and she remembered it every morning, even suggesting other options from the menu that we ended up loving. The Spa was another highlight of our stay. It was very clean and nice, and you need to reserve it in advance, which means you get it all to yourself for 1.5 hours. Overall, my experience was unforgettable, and I would definitely come back. The stunning decor, incredible views, delicious food, and, most importantly, the exceptional staff made my stay truly special.

Stayed here at the beginning of May. Absolutely fantastic! Handy for central Palma and the sea. You can easily walk to a lot of the sights and the bus service is also very good. The hotel, spa and roof top terrace are wonderful. The customer service provided by the WHOLE team is wonderful but I can't help but single out Andreas, the Chef with his beautifully creative fruit platters, the lovely, kind Sabrina and the very informative Pedro😉 Nothing was too much trouble including finding a charging lead for my Kindle. If you like non corporate, family, friendly quality service then this small hotel is for you. Highly recommend. Thank you all so much and keep up the good work.

A former palace that has been restored to a hotel with great care and attention to detail. The design and furnishings effectively blend the original design of the building with modern touches that make it a very comfortable place to stay. The location is right in the heart of old Palma near to the Cathedral but in a quiet backstreet with limited traffic. ||The staff and service were friendly, helpful with bookings and travel advice and very professional. Special thanks to the Andre (the effervescent and charming Brazilian chef), Ivan on the front desk, Manual the Spanish chef for giving my wife his amazing homemade chilli oil and Francesco for his great coffees!||We stayed as a family with our 20 month daughter - and she absolutely loved the place (especially the piano in the hall)!

I’ve been coming to this gem in Old Palma maybe half a dozen times and love it . Hadn’t been admittedly for over 5 years and booked and welcomed by the utterly fabulous Pedro who seems to be in charge and a really enthusiastic welcoming team - Francesco , Mati , all of the reception and housekeeping staff superb as was the talented and charismatic chef . Chauffeur drive to and from airport excellent too and all |seem-less via Pedro . ||The roof terrace is still such a unique feature as you almost touch the Cathedral windows although could be even more special ( showers seem to have gone & less luxury ) . ||I did feel that the hotel had lost something of its wow factor in terms of a true Spanish merchant house with wonderful art and incredible first floor public areas . The lovely traditional kitchen and honesty bar have gone and there are actually many gaps from where previously outstanding art was |displayed . ||I spoke to a local nearby who mentioned that the hotel has been sold over last few years after being closed for most of pandemic - this might well all add up. All I would say is , still very special and myself and friends will go back but , whilst I accept renovations must occur , be careful that this wonder testament to Mallorca architecture, style and appreciation of art doesn’t get lost . Such a special place which I do accept needs the ‘ right ‘ & subtle investment here and there but Bravo Pedro & Team , great job !

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing throughout our stay, accommodating even the smallest requests. The location of the hotel is great, with quick walking access to food and shipping, and not too far from the train station. The hotel has unique rooms and a nice spa for scheduled private use.

We stayed in a luxury junior suite which was a beautiful high ceiling room, dark wooden floors. Sun was coming in during the morning and day. There was a little balcony where we had coffee every morning. Bathroom was amazing, you just have to see it to understand. Stand alone bath, mirror doors, massive rain shower, wooden floor. All amenities were luxury. We only had breakfast every morning but there is a room service all day menu. Breakfast was soooo good and the lady looking after us every day was super nice and friendly. She also recommended 2 places where we end up going and were perfect suggestions. We met quite a lot of staff and everyone is super friendly, eager to help and natural: the guy that made coffees for us one evening, all the ladies at reception, the housekeeping ladies, the night receptionist and the chef. Thank you all for making our stay the most comfortable and memorable, sorry I didn’t remember names i am very bad with names, but all of you are truly wonderful. We hope to visit again. Thank you 🙏

Amazing location! This unique historic property is all about location, but the design and art elevate it to a top tier option. Very private, 12 rooms, spa with full steam, sauna, plunge pool with Jacuzzi jets and therapeutic waterfall; message therapists are avail booked a day in advance. A beach kit was provided for day excursions. Everything needed for a stay is there, anything else will be brought upon request. I actually left my passport in the last garment hanging in closet and the attentive staff calmly had it taxied to the ferry (can you imagine). But the main thing is the location in the heart of the cultural history of Old Palma, I was actually trembling looking at the cathedral and historic Palace de Palma from the beautiful roof terrace! We both had an amazing trip!

Hidden gem in Palma. Little palace from XVI century in the heart of old town, but with luxurious facilities. Really feel like you are living in a palace. State of the art spa with nice sauna and steam rooms in the basement. Staff was 10/10, friendly and professional. Once you are there you are 30 seconds walk to a breathtaking view of the Cathedral from the old wall. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Incredible service!!! Only 12 boutique rooms and they treat you like a movie star. We loved tea time, breakfast, the amazing terrace view, and consierge services. I would only stay here in Palma.

Yelp
This is a TRUE boutique hotel. It is an old house rebuilt into a hotel. So dont expect new. Everything is "retro". Antiques, etc. Rooms are old looking but clean. Loved the free bikes, the roof terrace and free merienda. There is a honor system for drinks... But dont come for the gym nor the pool. They need advanced notice to warm up the sauna and it is extra charge. Love the location.
