We stayed in this lovely boutique hotel, off-peak, in mid-November 2025. Our stay was most pleasant and enjoyable. This hotel is located in a historic building in the old town of Palma and updated with modern conveniences. Everywhere was walkable which is a huge deciding factor for us on where we stay. Our suite was spacious, cozy and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. We were sad to leave after our stay (we will be back!). We especially liked the bookable gym with sauna and steam room, so you can train and recover in total privacy. We enjoyed the food & beverages offered: room service and the breakfast offering was marvellous. Housekeeping was faultless, with room cleaning done twice daily when you leave for the day and hand the keys in at reception. All hotel staff worked so hard at feeling us welcome and looked after which was much appreciated and noticed. We recommend staying at Palace Can Marqués and cannot wait to come back.

It was magical staying at the Palacio Can Marquès – restored to perfection in the historic heart of Palma, it has been a welcoming hug. From the instant we swept through the massive doors, we were treated to a familial warmth, as if coming home. ||A big thank you to the outstanding staff who embraced us into the family and made our stay unforgettable.||Nicolas winds this special mention; he is a star. Every single morning, even at the crack of dawn, he greeted me warmly with a big welcoming smile and genuine kindness, escorting me down personally to the fitness room. He even remembered us from our stay at Puro Oasis Urban two years ago and always had a kind word to say. It was an equal measure of professionalism and heart-Nicolas is truly a gem!||The breakfast waitress (I wish I had got her name) was pure sunshine. Always smiling and attentive; by the second day, she remembered exactly how we liked our coffee. She would walk up to us smiling and ask if we wanted another one before we had even thought about it. It's the little touches that make the big difference.||The suite was pure paradise. Once we shut the door, it was pure silence-no sounds whatsoever even when one would assume that one is in the central and very much alive historic center. Darkness engulfed the room at night, giving birth to some of the best sleep we had ever had. Massive bathroom. High ceilings, original wooden beams, and the most comfortable bed we have ever encountered are a lethal combination when it comes to getting a guest to check out from a room.||Breakfast was a highlight in the fabulously lush courtyard garden, and the location couldn't have been better-they're all in walking distance. With just over a dozen suites, it really feels exclusive and yet never stuffy.||Palacio Can Marquès has won our heart amongst all luxury hotels we have stayed in around the world. Counting the days until we come back! Do yourself a favor and book this palace if arriving in Palma-you'll thank me later!

Palacio Can Marques is a true gem. This is our second stay- we just had to come back because we loved it so much the first time. Beautiful interior, beautiful surroundings, and a vibe that is both chic, cool, elegant- but also relaxed and oh, so charming. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, the service is just on another level- and we have been traveling a lot! The general manager greeted us upon arrival, with a smile and a «welcome»- small things that mean a lot- it immediately sets the tone for the service level this hotel aims for. When the receptionist found out that it was my birthday she sent cake and champagne to our room, and wrote a beautiful birthday card- that is the kind of service and care they show their guests. Another night a guest asked if he could play the piano in the reception area, and he held a spontaneous concert for the guests- that was really a special and moving experience. We are so grateful for this amazing stay- you blew us away yet again, and we will be back:)

We stayed at this superb hotel for five nights . Arriving at 11pm we receive a warm welcone from the front desk and a glass of cold Cava. During our stay we were impressed by how friendly and engaging all the staff were. The atmosphere was amazing, beautiful interiors and a delightful courtyard in which to enjoy breakfast and dinner. Our room was imaculate and spacious and the "disappearing"TV great fun. It was truly a 5 star holiday.

The kind and approachable 24/7 reception team was always there for us, offering heartfelt suggestions and unwavering support whenever needed. We just returned from the most amazing 3 night stay at Palacio Can Marques.||On arrival, we got a free upgrade to the Superior Suite (Romance ) and the room is simply stunning - spacious, clean, separate bath and showers, and includes all the mod cons you expect from a 5 star hotel ||We were also given complimentary cava on arrival, and another full bottle was waiting in the room for us to enjoy plus when we dined at the hotel restaurant during one of the nights - suprise surprise more free cava!||Breakfast was absolutely delicious and hand cooked to order (you must try the Poached Eggs Royal!) plus there is a small side buffet as well||The most brilliant thing about this hotel (apart from all I have mentioned plus its central location in Palma) is the staff !- 5 stars to every single one of them from the manager Esther to all the reception/ waiting/ kitchen/ cleaning staff. There are all so friendly, helpful and polite - made us feel extremely welcome and valued as special guests. Special mention to Matthias and the reception team (can't remember the names of the other 2 gentleman and lady ) but thank you again for everything ! ||Overall one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and would 100% recommend for anyone visiting Palma/ Mallorca ||Mr K Ngan

We had the most amazing week in our favourite hotel in Palma! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, beautiful, light, and with great charm! The location is ideal for walking around and easy to get taxi’s if required. The staff are wonderful and immediately make you feel welcome! We were looked after so well by Antonia, Mati and Meriem! The rest of the staff were great as well!|Definitely recommend this hotel!

Our stay at this hotel was memorable for all the wrong reasons, almost entirely because of Ana at reception. Her attitude, lack of initiative, and unwillingness to help were astonishing. She came across as cold, dismissive, and completely out of her depth — the exact opposite of what you expect at a 5-star property.||||From the moment we arrived, she made no effort to make us feel welcome. We asked for local recommendations, and her response was, “I’m sorry, I can’t help you with that.” No offer to check, no attempt to find out, no warmth or curiosity — just indifference. It felt like she wanted us to go away rather than enjoy our stay.||||Later, we asked whether the hotel’s advertised yoga session would be suitable for my pregnant wife. Any competent receptionist would have called the instructor or at least tried to find out. Ana simply said, “I don’t know.” No follow-up, no initiative, just another dead end. For a 5-star hotel, that level of apathy is unacceptable. Only calling when prompted by us.||||Breakfast was equally disappointing. Portions were tiny, there was no buffet, and when we politely asked for a simple salad — just some leaves and tomatoes — we were told, “Sorry, it’s not on the menu.” I’ve stayed in luxury hotels around the world, including Ritz, Four Seasons, and Kempinski, and I have never been refused such a basic request. The rigidity and lack of service mindset were unbelievable.||||Things got worse when Ana told us that, because of the marathon, our pickup point would be an 11-minute walk away. My wife is pregnant, and we had luggage — surely a simple reason to show empathy or find an alternative. Instead, Ana shrugged and insisted there was nothing she could do.||||Thankfully, Meriem stepped in and completely turned things around. She immediately offered to arrange for the bellboy to escort us, allowed us to have breakfast at a partner hotel, and even gave us thoughtful local recommendations. She was proactive, kind, and genuinely cared about making our stay better. Meriem is everything a 5-star receptionist should be.||||Shockingly, Ana later told us that Meriem had “made a mistake” and that we’d have to go alone after all. When we asked her to double-check, she reluctantly admitted she was wrong — again, with zero apology or accountability. It summed up her entire attitude: defensive, uninterested, and unhelpful.||||In all our years of travel, Ana is by far the least competent and least customer-focused front-desk employee we’ve encountered. She made every simple question feel like an inconvenience and every request feel like an imposition. For someone representing a 5-star brand, her behaviour was appalling.||||If it weren’t for Meriem, we would have checked out early. She treated us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality — the only reason we would ever consider returning.||||Ana, on the other hand, needs serious retraining or a change of role entirely. Her attitude drags down what could otherwise be an excellent hotel. A single team member should never be able to make a luxury guest experience feel this disappointing — but she did.
