Wow. I wanted to have a small lunch but ended up with a full grand super good food. This is a hidden gem for sure. You pass it easily as its on a patio. Highly recommend. Service awesome. All grilled on olive wood the food. Top dishes. And the steak was just mouthwatering. Huge selection of wine as well but as I was alone had to keep it by the glass.

Disappointing Experience at an Overhyped restaurant I recently dined at this restaurant, which holds two Michelin stars, and left thoroughly disappointed. Despite clearly requesting our steaks to be cooked well done, they were initially served undercooked. After sending them back, they came out burnt and raw at the same time which means they tuned up the temperature of the grill and didn’t not cook the steaks properly. It was clear the kitchen couldn’t deliver the food to the standard or specifications we expected. To make matters worse, the quality of the food didn’t come close to justifying the sky-high prices. For a restaurant with such a prestigious reputation, the entire experience—from food quality to execution—fell far short. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend it.

The food was amazing. The waiter very friendly! The atmosphere very nice and romantic. You have to try the dessert with roquefort; best dessert ever and super with the chupito of Pedro ximenez. Must do place!

AMAZING PLACE!! I loved absolutely everything about my visit!! The place is absolutely beautiful and feels incredibly peaceful with the fountain in the garden 😍. You can smell the olive tree burning from the street 🤤 we’ve tried the fried aubergine, special iberico ham from the grill and some eggs with ham, prawns and truffle! Everything was special and original 🤩 I would’ve never guessed our first dish was the aubergine by looking at it! The presentation was great! The eggs were fried and mixed with all the other ingredients on the plate at our table by the person serving us. I hope I will be able to come back one day! If you are in Baeza, this is a must and absolutely worth the price. You also get some complimentary olives at the start which might be from the olive tree growing in the garden! Strongly recommend! 😊

A hidden gem with a serene terrace in a beautiful 200 year old palace. The inside bar/restaurant is also lovely with a gorgeous ceiling. We sat under an apple tree and had a delicious meal which was even more special with freshly baked gluten free bread.

A magical hidden gem! The perfect spot for a leisurely unforgettable lunch on your way to or from Granada or other points nearby. I first visited with friends in September 2022 on the recommendation of a connoseur friend from Córdoba and was totally smitten. I'd been eager to introduce my group of first time visitors the unequaled joys of a long, slow Spanish lunch. The Palacio del Gallego did not disappoint. Our server guided us through an exquisite series of succulent dishes, mostly local, high quality ingredients expertly prepared over a wood fire. The service was impeccable and the setting sublime. If weather permits, the patio is delightful. In 2023 I led a group of 14 family members to Andalucía for Thanksgiving week. That Tuesday we'd be headed from Granada to Córdoba, so I reached out to make the reservation, only to learn the restaurant closes on Tuesdays. I was so disappointed since it was the perfect spot to celebrate a family Thanksgiving meal even if not on the exact day. Sympathetic to my plight, Manuel the owner agreed to open that day just for us! Can you imagine?!!? Needless to say, we spent an unforgettable afternoon there. I hope to spend many more. I should also add that Baeza is a lovely town and offers the perfect scenic stroll to walk off your sumptious Spanish lunch. Thank you, Manuel and your wonderful crew!

This restaurant was amazing! We booked a table for 15 people and were given the entire room downstairs. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We tried numerous dishes and wines and each was delicious. Will definitely return!
