It is located near Gate 3. I highly recommend a visit to this luxurious ancient Teotihuacano castle. The pillars are adorned with exquisitely beautiful owl and quetzal motifs, and the original painted pediments are still visible. They are various stunning views of the Temple of the Moon from the castle. There are restrooms, souvenir stores, and food stalls. We tried the Mango palette in the store beside restrooms. It is nice and refreshing. Exiting Gate 3 and taking a short five-minute walk, you'll discover the Museum of Teotihuacan Murals. There, you can appreciate the historical artifacts, paintings, and monuments; it's a highly recommended museum.

The Palacio de Quetzalpapálotl is a small but interesting spot to check out while visiting the pyramids at Teotihuacan. While it’s not particularly impressive compared to the main pyramids, the stone carvings and layout give you a glimpse into the residential side of the ancient city. It’s a peaceful area to take a short break from the crowds and sun. Nothing especially memorable, but definitely worth visiting while you're in the area, as it's right near the Pyramid of the Moon.

Don't miss this luxury residence of the ancient Teotihuacános! The pillars are decorated with owl and quetzal motifs of great beauty and your can still see the original painted pediments. Great views of the temple of the moon from the various balconies.

You have to wait to get into this area but it is well worth it. Excellent restoration of murals and a courtyard.

This pyramid was the least crowded of all the pyramids, probably because it was a little disconnected. Also, you can see some of the cool serpent heads here, which are not there are the sun and the moon pyramids.

The Pyramid of the Sun is the largest building in Teotihuacan, believed to have been constructed about 200 CE, and one of the largest in Mesoamerica.
