This place is absolutely beautiful, and I highly recommend visiting. The entrance fee is 8.5 euros, which I paid at the entrance. Each patio in the museum is unique. If you want to experience Andalusian patios, this is definitely the place to go.

Beautiful patios. Off season is quiet and a very pleasant way to spend an hour. Cute square by the entrance to the palace - shame we didn't take time to get a drink in the sun from the café across the street.

A tranquil and beautiful place to visit! We came in the afternoon and it was quiet. There’s lots of sheltered areas to sit away from the heat! Loved the many courtyard/patio areas with pots of flowers.

Interesting place to visit in Cordoba. The majority of the visit happens outside, as the Palace has 12 courtyards, each more or less subtly different than others. There is also a garden area in between several courtyards. There's a lot of shade, so you can cool down from the scorching heat. On each courtyard there's an informational plaque with description of the place and its role. Self guided tour isn't especially long, most visitors will probably leave within an hour.

Palace of courtyards. Visited during free hours, on Wednesday evening. No wait at all, we just came and entered. Nice to walk through on a good day

What a beautiful place! An absolute must-visit on your visit to Córdoba. Personally, I enjoyed it even better than the Mezquita and all the cathedrals and churches I visited. This place has a sense of peace, and connection to nature I truly loved. I came towards their closing hour, so there was no need to purchase a ticket ahead of time and no waiting time. I don’t know how it is at other times of the day, however. There was also very few people, I saw 4 other visitors, besides myself, which was a very welcome sight after the half-hour long lines I experienced at some other local monuments. I’ve never seen a green fence made of citrus trees before, but there is one here, there’s quite a few historial artifacts displayed inside, besides the beautiful patios with fountains and gardens. There must be hundreds of types of plants inside. The smells are lovely, and especially the jasmine flowers, which are my absolute favorites. Really recommend this place!!

Gorgeous patios. You can spend a few hours wandering around. Lots of shade and areas to sit and relax. Mostly wheelchair accessible. Some of the ponds/fountains could use a cleaning, but aside from that it was beautiful! Check website before going to ensure you have enough time to visit - they sometimes close early such as on Mondays. If you want to go inside the palace rooms, it is recommended to get a reservation online beforehand as they get booked fast. However, if you only want to see the patios, you probably won't need a reservation, at least during the off season.

Surprisingly beautiful place. Amazing gardens, different from what we had seen in the city.. beautiful, organized and original.

Yelp
One of those places that a lot of tourists seem to miss out on but is definitely a must if one wants to enjoy true Spanish Garden splendor. 12 patios (great for photography/photo shoots) and an option for 3 more Euros to take the indoor tour of the palacio. A palacio is basically any fancy home of anyone who is an aristocrat/rich person, so there are many palacios and you don't have to be associated w/ royalty to live in one. 5 Euros to get in, located a little further out from the other attractions. Key Patios: Patio de Gatos (patio of cats) and Patio de naranjas (Patio of oranges). I love this garden place b/c it's not too trimmed and manicured like a French garden but has a nice balanced natural look that is not unkempt. The white walls with blue shutters, fountains, flower pots against the clean white facade is a traditional look that a lot of Spanish patios and places will feature. Andalusian traits tend to be wrought iron fences, painted tiles, white washed walls, flower pots, orange trees, and cobble stone paths. Come here for good photography, less tourists, and for those who love quiet and more private tours of a palacio or Spanish decor. Tip: don't get hung up on the first patio when you first come in for photos... take a look at the rest of the 12 and then decide your photos! My favorite is the one with the blue shutters, vines of oranges looking outside

Yelp
La Palacio Museo de Viana was one of the highlights of our stay in Cordoba. As you may be aware Cordoba is known for its patios and gardens and the best of which you will find at La Palacio de Viana. I believe there are about 6 to 8 different patios areas which were developed by different families/parties and they have very different themes. Some of the patios have beautiful water features, some have gorgeous fruit trees, some have sculptures and some have a little bit of everything. Note: You probably don't need to get the tour as they give you a pamphlet explaining mostly everything and you'd likely enjoy it more just walking around and taking pictures.
