The pre check in information was perfect enabling us to drive to the paradores with ease. Parking was not a problem either as a free car park is five minutes.|The hotel is a spectacular house with the rooms being beautifuly adapted to give a real feel of stepping v|Back into the past the luxury of a wealthy renaissance cleric.|The hotel and its history were a pleasure to experience and the seamless service of the staff just made it seem of a different age joyous stay.

Our experience here can only be described as adequate and even that may be a stretch. The windowless room had air conditioning that worked but was quite noisy. Furnishings were simple as was that bathroom. The food was subpar and the service was surly if available at best. While Ubeda may be a world Unesco site, I would recommend staying elsewhere if visiting at all.

It's all great unless you're there during a heat wave in April and the room is sweltering hot. You can't turn the A/C on because, as the girl at the front desk told me, "We don't turn the A/C on until May 1." Unacceptable.

The Parador is outstanding for architecture, history and position in the stunning Renaissance town of Ubeda. We toured the streets which were blissfully quiet and lacking traffic. We LOVED the Synagogue del Asia, an absolute gem.

Very clean hotel and room - restaraunt was good. Loction is great! Great staff!||Parking is the only issue but free public parkiing is very near the Paradore.||Good location to walk to other various sites and stores.

Great rooms, but smokey at times, superb location, and less than ideal service. We had an absolutely awesome room, with a mostly private courtyard just outside the room. The aircon cooled the room but if you tried to set the temperature too low, the system would turn off. We noticed strong cigarette smells in the evening and morning. We suspect other patrons in adjacent rooms were smoking in their rooms. Service was average at Best. We waited over 20 minutes one afternoon before anyone showed up to take orders for drinks. Please get more staff if you don't have enough or manage the ones you do have. At breakfast it took some time for staff to recognize us as customers and seat us. Service overall was a miss. We loved the location. It was a few minute walk to and from the recommended car park.

What a nice surprise Ubeda and this hotel was. Such a beautiful small town with an outstanding Renaissance period town center. The hotel is in a restored villa next to the cathedral. While old, the hotel is nicely restored with everything you would need. Rooms are very large although views from rooms are less than outstanding as many face small interior courts. Good restaurant and villa has a large center court. Walking distance to everything in town.

Very nice place, the room was very spacious and the decoration is incredibly beautiful, travelling on time experience I totally recommend.
