Palácio do Visconde - The Coffee Experience

A perfect stay! The suite Visconde is beautiful, the staff is fantastic, always attentive and one step ahead of our needs. The food in the restaurant is delicious and very well prepared. The small, refreshing garden is ideal for a late afternoon drink, or just for a coffee/tea break or reading a book, a true oasis. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it. This place is a gem! Honestly, it was great. We were a large group (33 people), they made the organization very easy, helped with all the details, as I was not in Lisbon I had to manage everything by email and, there was zero problems, everything went smoothly. The service was absolutely exceptional, we were all delighted, food was amazing, the place is beautiful and the staff is super kind. 10/10.

Our room and indeed the whole hotel was immaculate, spacious bright and welcoming. All the staff without exception were so attentive and friendly we really did enjoy chatting to them so much. The restaurant too was excellent to the extent that we dined there three times as the menu was so interesting. In fact I believe far better that anything we found in the city , this really was an excellent hotel

If in Lisbon you should not miss this place. Good service, our waiter was very profesional and courteous. Every dish was succulent, beautifully presented!! The dessert (yes, we had room!) was a tangy lemon tart that offered the perfect end to our meal and so was the table side made tiramisú. This place ( the restaurant) clearly takes pride in sourcing quality seafood and treating it with the respect it deserves. Only wish we would’ve had piano playing but understood it was lunch time and not that busy then!! Thanks for the good service • We only enjoyed the restaurant as per the hotel we did Not experience it since we were staying two blocks away with family and it’s one of the neighborhood’s most recommended spots

This hotel is the star of my Lisbon visit. From the informative welcome, impeccable service to the delicious food - all was excellent. The hotel has comfortable elegance and grace. My husband and I stayed on Valentines Day and attended a beautiful Tango dinner, which was the highlight of our 5 night stay. The beds are very comfortable and rooms clean and well serviced. The management and staff are so helpful and kind. Honestly, I can not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

When here for the breakfast… Wow! The best brunch experience of Lisbonne! So good that we have change our flight to be able to come one last time! It’s a must.

I am 2 days into a 6 day stay with family. Beautiful restored palace with architectural details and original paintings. Very welcoming presentation and tour by reception. Wonderful breakfast. There is a coffee roaster in the property. This is a 5 star experience for 3 star prices. I highly recommend staying here. Great location.

And special thanks to Bernardo, who couldn’t have been more helpful — warm, professional, and always ready with excellent local recommendations. He really made us feel welcome and gave the hotel that extra personal touch. Verdict: A quiet, stylish base with great breakfasts, beautiful architecture, and the kind of friendly service that makes you want to return.
