Will we return to this hotel? Absolutely, even though there were a few cons (for us).||Pros:|1. Warm and friendly staff – every staff member we interacted with was awesome!|2. Comfortable room and bath size.|3. Comfortable beds.|4. Daily glass of prosecco, we really enjoyed coming in after a walk about and grabbing (included in the resort fee) a cold glass of prosecco and sitting out in the beautiful, enclosed courtyard.|5. Rose’ half hour, from 5.00-5.30, each afternoon, the bar served cold Rose’ (included in the resort fee). Since this encouraged a gathering of guests, it gave us the opportunity to meet and make friends with other guests.|6. Breakfast coffee was very good (in the eatery, not the hotel room). Do wish refills were included in the price.|7. Turn down service and chocolates.|8. Cold water offered upon check-in and any other time we asked.|9. Walking distance to many eateries, grocery store, forts, etc.||Cons:|1. Toiletry items, i.e., shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and liquid soap had such a strong aroma that we could not use them and ended up walking to SuperMax to buy different, less offensive, brands.|2. In room coffee: We love Puerto Rican coffee and having an espresso maker in the room was great, but the coffee brand in the rooms tasted worse than Maxwell House on the mainland. While at SuperMax, we also bought a different brand of coffee. The coffee in the downstairs eatery was great.|3. Breakfast: Being a Hilton Diamond status, breakfast was included in our stay. The cold items we ordered were great, fruit bowl, etc. But most cooked items were lukewarm and dried out from sitting under the heat (but apparently, not hot) lamp. Toast was as hard as crackers, chicken way overcooked, etc.||No opinion:|1. TV: We did not turn it on so “NA”.||Tips: Bring your own espresso pods and shampoo/soap.
