We stayed at this hotel for four nights as a family. The place is truly charming and beautifully decorated; as its name suggests, it really feels like a small private palace.
We stayed in the suites overlooking the pool, which was a lovely setting. One of the main positives is the location: it is in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to the city center. The staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with high-quality products and an à la carte service that we really appreciated.
However, there were a few downsides. The suites had quite a lot of humidity, which created an unpleasant smell. Some of the equipment also felt rather old and not always well maintained — for example, the bathtub faucets and a towel rack were broken. In addition, the swimming pool did not seem to be cleaned daily, so there were quite a few insects in the water.
It’s a pity, because aside from these points the hotel has great potential and could easily offer a nearly perfect experience.
