Palafito Cucao

A wonderful place to stay right on the lake! We were so warmly welcomed and taken care of by our host, Guillermina! Nothing was a problem and the service was very warm and welcoming.|Delicious breakfasts, all rooms with a view of the lake, the hot tub is always available, dinner reservations were made.|All around a wonderful stay! Thank you!

A laid back hotel by the water. Very close to Chiloé National Park and a few restaurants. A lovely place to unwind. My one recommendation would be to bring an eye mask as the curtains let the morning light into the bedroom. |There are kitchen facilities that can be used and breakfast is provided and includes tea, coffee, fruit, yogurt, muesli, bread/toast, jam, honey, avocado and eggs.

A relaxing room with a fantastic view in small lakefront lodge within walking distance to the ocean beach, a national park and trails, and fine local restaurants. Breakfast was served in the cheery common room and featured locally made pastries.

Very cozy lodge, stayed there for 2 nights and as there aren’t many food options close by is very easy to cook there. There were only two other groups there with us so very relaxing

Lovely place to stay! So wholesome and esthetically very pleasing. Awesome room views, delicious brekkie and hot tub ( which you have to book in advanced). Guillermina, the administrator, was very charming and had beautiful energy. Not so much the cleaning lady. Not sure if she was having bad couple of days but had zero hospitality manners. She was dry and grumpy. I did a "late" check out, just galf hour after, and she took it really badly. She then rushed me to get out of the hotel lobby as soon as I left the room. She said she had to close the whole hotel. Her behavior was very off. Wasnt welcoming at all.

Wonderful place! Room 3 is the corner room with absolutely stunning views. The owners are very helpful, even if you don't speak perfect Spanish. Some Spanish is definitely helpful to have for interacting with the staff. Tasty breakfast and generally one of the best places to stay!

Stayed for three nights over Christmas. The staff was amazing, so was the overall atmosphere. Loved meeting other guests and walking around the grounds. The room was simple but clean and so relaxing.

This lodge is stunningly Beautiful, wooden terraces all along the lake, a short walk to the Pacific beach and the national park trakking paths. A Wonderful sofa corner and siiting area with best views is provided, as well as breakfast. Guests can use the kitchen. Unfortunately they don't cook dinner, we would have eaten there! Great Rooms upstairs all with lake views. Absolutely lovely place, the best in Cucao!
