Palafito Cucao

We had a truly wonderul 2 nights at Palafito Cucao - a really magical place. Great help, great advice, great breakfast, so quiet, and very convenient to the Parque. Relaxing couches in the lounge area to hang out or read, kitchen, and rooms with views of the bay with soaring sea birds. Wow! Definitely wish we had stayed longer.

A wonderful place to stay right on the lake! We were so warmly welcomed and taken care of by our host, Guillermina! Nothing was a problem and the service was very warm and welcoming.|Delicious breakfasts, all rooms with a view of the lake, the hot tub is always available, dinner reservations were made.|All around a wonderful stay! Thank you!

A laid back hotel by the water. Very close to Chiloé National Park and a few restaurants. A lovely place to unwind. My one recommendation would be to bring an eye mask as the curtains let the morning light into the bedroom. |There are kitchen facilities that can be used and breakfast is provided and includes tea, coffee, fruit, yogurt, muesli, bread/toast, jam, honey, avocado and eggs.

A relaxing room with a fantastic view in small lakefront lodge within walking distance to the ocean beach, a national park and trails, and fine local restaurants. Breakfast was served in the cheery common room and featured locally made pastries.

We stayed in dormitories one night. It is quite pricy but the ho(s)tel is really charming and very well equipped (super kitchen).||It is not a place to party but rather to relax and chill (nobody allowed after midnight in the living room to respect the night of others). And the view and the place is so relaxing...||The dorms itself are very clean as the rest of the hotel. Two big bathrooms for 6 beds and we slept very very well. You also get towels.||Breakfast was a blast ! Orange juice, hot beverage, breds with jam/honey/butter or/and fuit/muesli/yogourt. ||Only negative point is: no lockers.||We are so glad we stayed here, it really gave us a great break in our journey !

This lodge is stunningly Beautiful, wooden terraces all along the lake, a short walk to the Pacific beach and the national park trakking paths. A Wonderful sofa corner and siiting area with best views is provided, as well as breakfast. Guests can use the kitchen. Unfortunately they don't cook dinner, we would have eaten there! Great Rooms upstairs all with lake views. Absolutely lovely place, the best in Cucao!

Wonderful place! Room 3 is the corner room with absolutely stunning views. The owners are very helpful, even if you don't speak perfect Spanish. Some Spanish is definitely helpful to have for interacting with the staff. Tasty breakfast and generally one of the best places to stay!
