We visited Eden at Palais Amani for Christmas Eve dinner with high expectations, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.
The Food: The quality of the food was shockingly poor and absolutely does not justify the high price tag.
Appetizers: The lobster bisque was served lukewarm, and the royal prawns were not fresh (mushy texture).
Mains: The John Dory was a disaster—the fish meat was coarse and completely tasteless. The plating was messy and unappetizing, looking like it was thrown onto the plate without care. The duck breast was also well below average.
The Service vs. Management: The only reason I am not giving 0 stars is that the floor staff (waiters) were polite and tried their best. However, the experience was ruined by the front desk/cashier.
When we provided honest feedback about the poor food quality not matching the price, the man at the reception was extremely arrogant and dismissive. Instead of apologizing or taking the feedback constructively, he brushed us off by saying "many other people appreciate it," implying that we were the problem.
Verdict: It is shameful for a restaurant to refuse to accept criticism. If you are looking for fine dining in Fes, look elsewhere. Do not waste your money here on bad food and an arrogant attitude.
