Palais des Ducs et des États de Bourgogne

It is a very imposing palace from the outside and it was interesting to look round it. Most of the building has been converted into an art museum containing less well known paintings. The main room containing the ducal tombs was worth seeing, but apart from that it was difficult to get a feeling of what the Palace used to be like.

To visit the Palace you shall visit the museum of fine arts. A lot of paintings and art pieces. The top thing to see is the Duques tombs.... JUST AMAZING.

Absolutely beautiful outside and inside, definitely must do when coming to visit Dijon. Easy access, elevators help when you’re tired of walking stairs. The Tour of the Tower of Phillipe Le Bon is well worth the time and effort. Frequent stops and history lessons with knowledgeable guides.

Amazing collection of art and historical pieces. Especially considering this is a regional Capital and not Paris where one would expect these treasures. No entrance fee. The people of Burgundy rightfully feel art and history are important.

Amazing place to visit. Especially the room with the crypt and the sculptures throughout the museum space. Definitely worth the visit.

Was fantastic experience...so well presented

Palace turned into a museum. There were a lot of amazing pieces of artwork and artifacts. The tombs were especially beguiling in their intricacies and detailing. I am continually awed by the workmanship and craftsmanship. I can barely write cursive anymore and couldn’t imagine wielding a carving tool to chisel out lace and filigree. I will stick to tapping on a keyboard and come back here to see the mastery of yesterday’s.
