Highly rated & too much hype for bad cooking! Our chicken tagine looked & tasted like it was boiled in dishwater. The meatball dish drowned in red sauce was blah. Our American colleagues who ordered 2 beef steaks got 2 pieces of loin that tased off (we surmised it was camel meat or whatever, only Allah would know). We ordered white wine but server brought red wine & insisted it was white; after strong rejection he replaced it with a bottle of water! It took our Moroccan driver to convince the restaurant to bring a bottle of Moroccan white wine, which was all we consumed since food was simply inedible. It was a downside pass thru experience in Meknes for us!

We had a lovely dinner here on our final evening in Meknes. Owner Nicholas is a French chef who bought this riad a couple of years ago. The central interior courtyard is beautiful with impressive hand carvings. We were welcomed warmly by Nicholas, the food was excellent, and we were delighted to be able to enjoy a bottle of excellent Moroccan wine with our meal. (We did not stay overnight.)

The most friendly and comfortable place during my holidays. Very helpful staff with excellent communication despite language barriers (no worries if you speak french). We enjoyed the rooms and the patio mostly because of human-friendly temperatures inside (speaking for February). The toilets and beds are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. You can buy some small souvenirs inside and just enjoy the stay. The atmosphere was fantastic. I would recommend this place particularly for visitors with kids.

A beautiful, recently reformed Riad with a perfect location to enjoy a few days exploring Meknès whilst having the peace and tranquility to enjoy a good night's rest. More so Nico made us feel welcome and at home right from the beginning. Sofianne made sure we were attend to at all times and both are amazing chefs preparing us a mix of traditional Moroccan food with a French twist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Meknès.

A charming, spacious, and impeccably clean Riad situated just beyond the lively Medina, close to major attractions. Nicolas, Soufiane, and the entire team were delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dinners on two evenings were superb and plentiful. Nicolas, the owner and French chef, was very kind and helpful in organising local taxis for our trips to Volubilis and the train station. Would unquestionably choose to stay here again.

We had the best experience staying 3 nights in this Riad. Nicolay is the most amazing host and owner. And Sofian is always available to assist. We stayed every evening to enjoy the food prepared by Nikolay and Sofian. The food was amazing. And we had delicioua Morrocan Wine too. We would love to one day return to relax and enjoy the food and hospitality again. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Superb experience right from the first minute of arrival. It was my first stay in a riad. The place was sunlit and full of tiled stone and growing things. I quite enjoyed the little turtle wandering around! The proprietor worked very hard to ensure that I was content with all aspects of my stay. He was delightful. I had dinner on the terrace alongside a family. The dinner was sublime: four courses including braised camel, eggplant and lots of vegetables, olives, bread and wine. It was an excellent evening in Meknes at a calmer pace than other cities I visited. The room was lovely and cool. My sleep was perfect.
