"Opened in 2012 in the Palmerie neighborhood, surrounded by views of the Djebilet Hills and Atlas Mountains, this stunning resort feels miles away from the world—though complimentary shuttles whisk guests to the town center in less than 25 minutes. The popularity with the glam crowd and the variety of super-sized accommodations also help make it feel like an upscale residential enclave. Choose between 41 chic rooms, suites, villas, and “palaces,” all connected by pathways that wind under Moorish arches, through gardens, and over flower-filled ponds; even the entry-level Deluxe Rooms offer plenty of space, with oversized bathrooms, fireplaces, outdoor seating, and a large heated plunge pool, while the three kinds of Suites, multi-bedroom Villas, and three private residence Palaces (with three or four bedrooms each) offer other perks like full-sized swimming pools, kitchens, and more outdoor living areas. Enjoy breakfast and dinner at the French-Moroccan Le Namaskar, lunch at La Table in the gardens, tea at Espace T, and drinks at a variety of bars, including the rooftop Nomad Bar, where bubbles are served to DJ-spun tunes and endless views. (The decadent brunch, served on the lawn with fluffy pillows as seats, is popular with locals, so be sure to make a reservation.) Though every room has a private pool for a dip, there’s also a main one ringed by loungers, as well as other soaking spots—and a full menu of treatments—at the lantern-lit spa."
Palais Namaskar was recommended by a Moroccan-Canadian friend as I wanted to go to a pool for the day. The location was beautiful and the grounds were immaculate - full of greenery and flowers. It was located around 20 minutes from the city centre. Service was great, and the food buffet was amazing. However I do prefer passes where there is a set menu. The desserts were too hard to choose from! The pool was relatively quiet however a family with four children were there and they were shrieking non stop. The day bed provided was great, however it would be nice if some kind of shower could be provided. Overall great experience.

Palais Namaskar is visually stunning, with classic Moroccan architecture and beautiful gardens. We booked a villa with a private pool, which was spacious and had great potential, but the property is clearly showing its age and urgently needs renovation. Doors didn’t open or close properly, the bathroom flooded easily, and there was visible mould in the pool. The TV was outdated at least 12 years old and not a smart TV, which is surprising for a so called 5-star hotel.||The air conditioning in my room didn’t work, despite outside temperatures reaching 40°C, and even after reporting it, nothing was done to fix it. To make matters worse, the hotel only provides one 33cl bottle of water per guest in the room highly insufficient and not what you would expect from a luxury property.||Service was another major disappointment. Orders were incomplete, cutlery and table settings arrived after the food, and while the Moroccan cuisine had a few highlights, most dishes were just average and lacked authenticity. The buffet was plain and nowhere near 5 star quality. Service was inconsistent some staff were polite and professional, but others were rude and acted as if guests were a nuisance. It often took two or three requests to get served, and sometimes you had to get up and fetch things yourself.||The spa experience was particularly poor. Removing a simple shellac took three staff members two hours, and after 1.5 hours of drying, the nail polish was ruined anyway. I had a wedding to attend the next day but was refused nail polish for touch ups and only offered a rushed visit at 11:30 am, just before the event. The manicure was badly done, with uneven nails and even bleeding from my toes. When I asked for a refund, management refused and instead offered repeated touch-ups.||In summary, while the hotel looks impressive and the villas are spacious, Palais Namaskar is far from a true 5 star experience. The lack of basic amenities, poor service, and outdated facilities make it feel more like a 2.5 star property. There is a lot of work to be done before it can be considered luxury accommodation.

This hotel is simply wow! The rooms are amazing, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the quality of food and service at the restaurant is very good. |In other words, everything was simply perfect!|I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip in Marrakech. ||If I really have to nitpick, I’d say that having only one restaurant might make the food options feel a bit monotonous after a while. But you’d have to stay a long time for that to happen, since the menu is big enough to cover many days — especially considering there are two menus: one with traditional Moroccan dishes and another with international cuisine.

I recently stayed there for a wedding. I stayed at the Oberoi for 3 nights before coming to Palais namaskar. There is a stark difference between two supposedly 5 star hotels. My room wasn’t ready at check in despite arriving later than everyone else, leaving me to have to wait for 30-45 minutes for my room to be ready. My bags, despite the wait, were not in my room, leaving me to frantically rush to get ready for the wedding. My shower never worked properly.
My phone had no instructions or seemingly any way of contacting the front desk, thank god I asked the front desk for a wake up call the night before. I asked them to come grab my bags, two guys randomly showed up and started to riffle through the room, one of them started to clean the room while I was still in the room with hours until checkout, I was leaving early, but still an odd experience. Another guy grabbed my bags and left in the golf cart without asking me if I wanted a ride.
The resort itself was nice, the jr suite didn’t offer much in the way of privacy for the “hot tube” which wasn’t heated.
If you want a true 5 star luxury experience pay the extra money and stay at la momunia or the Oberoi.

We had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding at Palais Namaskar and everything was beyond our expectations. The service, the ambiance, the architecture - literally every part of the experience was top notch.
The wedding was stunning stunning and all of the guests were raving about their time at the hotel. We can't wait to come back!

We had booked a year ahead for a family of 12 for my father’s 80th Birthday. Other members of the family had been and stayed more than once over the last2/3years and had had superb food and service, enjoying themselves so much we thought it would be the ideal place to go back to with the entire family. We had a good time and made the most of the hotel. Like someone else has mentioned, our reservation was cancelled because someone had booked a large group booking/wedding so we had to reschedule our flights etc and after some discussion they reallocated some dates before the event and gave a discount to help with the cost we had incurred to reschedule our flights. Sadly our holiday was tarnished by poor service from the off. In particular the bar and restaurant were unbelievably slow. It wasn’t busy but food and drinks took up to 1 1/2hrs to receive at lunch, waiters never took down the order on their note pads, pretending to write it down so when it arrived it really was lucky dip what you received! On the night of the main celebration we started around 7pm and finished around 11:30pm and only ordered one course. They only had one bottle of the wine I ordered in the entire hotel which seemed rather odd. We were due to do a balloon ride one day so we’re up early but due to the wind this was cancelled so we’re decided to have breakfast earlier than usual, breakfast starts at 7am but the place was locked up and none around, we asked reception and they confirmed breakfast was served from 7am to which we said there is no one around, it took 40more mins of sitting around before anyone arrived, no apologies were made so we again cracked on and ordered our lucky dip breakfast! This said generally Staff were pleasant enough but seemed more into watching reels on their phones and eating and drinking inside than paying attention to their guests. This type of culture proceeded for the entire stay and when mentioned to the general manager he did offer our last days lunch on the house and our airport taxis when we left. When going to pay the bill this was however retracted and we were given just two of the meals for free not everyone. The gardening/cleaning staff and maintenance were all excellent, the overall feeling was that the hospitality staff were short on numbers, disinterested and rather unhappy to be working. Whether this is true I’m not sure, it felt issues in management were likely the biggest issue which was also confirmed by their attitude and service when we tried to bring this up. The general feel of the hotel is lovely and the surroundings too, things are a little worn and tired, rooms were large and reasonably well appointed but fixtures and fittings need updating/fixing so they work properly like lights, taps etc.. don’t book this hotel if you want pristine service and modern up to date rooms if that’s your thing book the Oberoi down the road!||The spa was ok, though again the staff were not the most forthcoming, much the same story they just didn’t seem that concerned about the customers and when my wife asked about getting her nails painted the two members of staff contradicted one another saying they do and they don’t so we all got very confused, in the end one nice lady took my wife around the back and showed her the colour options, didn’t offer her a formal appointment but coloured her nails there and then for free. ||It’s a real shame the total has so much to offer but fell short by some way this time which was a big shock after the previous visits. I’m sure with someone decent at the helm and directing staff more locking away the phones and a bit of front of house training they can get this place back on track. Good luck

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. They stole my money and lied to American express. We booked a room directly with the hotel in order to attend a wedding. Following a dispute between the hotel and the groom, the wedding was cancelled. We then received an email from the hotel stating that our room payments had been applied to settle the groom’s outstanding debt under his contract with them. As a result, we now have flights to Marrakech in two days but no accommodation. This is an unacceptable way to treat guests. A customer who books directly with a hotel should never be held financially responsible for a third party’s contractual obligations. We did not pay the groom, nor did he book on our behalf—we made our reservation with the hotel directly. While we understand that cancellations made by us might result in forfeited funds, diverting our payment to cover someone else’s debt is completely inappropriate.

The hotel and its facilities are incredible, the architecture is great and the whole area was clean and pretty. However, the food service was poor. Whilst the food and staff were super a 2 course dinner often took >2 hours. This wouldn’t be unreasonable for a packed hotel however we couldn’t help but notice the lack of people at dinner. At most there were usually 3 other tables dining at the same time as us. Also, whilst the pool was beautiful and a nice sun trap the hotel let in dozens of day guests between 11:30 and 5:30. These day guests were mostly loud, annoying and poorly behaved. They were not at all the demographic we were planning to be spending the day around at a 5 star hotel. This was the most disappointing thing about the hotel we found as it meant unless you had headphones on you would constantly be ambushed by screaming children and adults alike. The music was also appalling and the playlist being used contained mostly very poor covers of pop songs and would be played on repeat all day every day. On the whole, it is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff but it is clearly being managed poorly from higher up.
