There were barely any people, which made it peaceful to walk around, but several areas were closed off or restricted, so it felt like I didn’t get to see much. Honestly, I was expecting a lot more.
Finding the entrance was confusing and to make it worse, there are tuk-tuk drivers outside who try to trick you by saying the palace is closed, just to sell you a sightseeing tour instead.
There wasn’t anything truly spectacular that stood out to me. For the $10 entry fee, I’m not sure it’s worth it, especially when compared to the much grander Royal Palace in Bangkok.
