Palanga Life Balance SPA Hotel

The hotel has a great location, with indoor and outdoor jacuzzis and a sauna area. The hotel's windows offer stunning panoramic views. The Baltic Sea is very close to the hotel. Besides, it has various and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended to visit.

I only visited the SPA. Staff is friendly and welcoming, the massage was good. Good choice of oils, the massage therapist is very knowledgable and talks you through your options. The only let down was a massage room itself, which was very, VERY bright (not very relaxing). I am used to more of an ambient lighting…No eye cover placed during the massage, either (which isn’t an issue whilst you’re lying on your stomach but becomes problematic once you turn around). Overall pleasant experience however not quite value for money (€100 for 60 minute full body massage).

Spent two nights here during the weekend. Overall good experience, however there are a few details that made the price to quality ratio questionable.|First of all, bad sound isolation - if somebody is staying in a room next to you, you’ll hear everything.|The water in the shower was not going down the drain properly, therefore you had to regularly turn the water off while showering in order to not flood the bathroom.|Also, the bedding is not hypoallergenic - filled with feathers, which triggered my allergies that I didn’t even know I had. So beware if you’re allergic.|Breakfast choices are quite limited, especially if you don’t eat meat. |Also, an extra of 30€ per night for parking sounds quite ridiculous considering the price you pay for the stay.|The location is great, the design and interior is very stylish and unique. SPA area is nice, however a little weirdly organised.|To sum up, not a bad experience, however nothing special and quite a few disappointments for the price paid.|Probably would look for a different place next time.

The hotel by itself is very good it’s just small details like the bathroom not having a place to hold any hair products, the shampoo and conditioner were really drying. The hotel should consider doing some gym classes or something like that, because there aren’t a lot of things to do inside of the hotel during the cold seasons. But everything else was lovely, the spa was great , will be visiting again🙂

Overpriced, bad smell in the rooms, no proper room service, some rude reception. One of our employee was discriminated on social status because he was asked to pay the visit in advance immediately in the late evening despite it was agreed to pay after the visit for no reason at all. Meanwhile, all other foreigners could choose and pay at the end of their visit. The rest was disturbed and one of our employees needed medical assistance after the visit because of the unethical and discriminatory behaviour of the receptionist. This is not 5+ hotel for sure.

One of the worst and disappointing experiences. ||This hotel deserves a maximum of 3 star rating, although it is titled as one of the most luxurious hotels. The price-quality ratio is tragic.||We left before we even spent the entire time that we booked and for which we paid.||Unclean rooms, dirty sofas, chairs, carpets. Even nasal secretion were taped on the wall by the bed.||The spa area, saunas, especially the jacuzzi, is dirty, wrinkled, and tanned. Jacuzzi had unclean water.||We got food poisoning at the Hotels Restaurant (took oysters). The food is not worth the high prices, especially when it comes cold. ||Upon departure, all complaints were placed at the reception, whose employee apologized and promised that the hotel manager will contact us due to such an unpleasant experience and that the money will be refunded for the days we paid but didn’t stayed at the hotel. Unfortunately, neither a call or refund were received.

Disappointing experience this time round. Had to change rooms twice because of a flood and then broken and insecure bathroom which caused me to slip and injure myself. The staff inside the sauna are most obnoxious and unprofessional - part of sauna was closed off because “there aren’t enough people”. Terrible service and this hotel definitely doesn’t deserve 5 stars. A 3 star hotel at the very best. Previously, the hotel was outstanding and the staff were courteous whereas this time around the staff were obnoxious, unprofessional and didn’t make me feel welcome. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere. Quality went downhill by 1000000%
