Palatinus Strand Baths

With temperatures of 30 degrees, this was a great place to escape the heat! 🥵 There are many different pools : children’s, swimming only, fun pools with water jets (perfect water pressure massage) and thermal pools. Free to use sun beds and lockers to keep your valuables safe. Excellent value for money and the walk from the bridge to the pool is stunning with a musical fountain, an animal sanctuary, Japanese garden and lots more. A really fun day to spend with friends and family 🥰

My kids voted this their favorite bath in Budapest. So many fun things for children to do, and plenty of wonderful hot baths for adults as well. The wave pool and slides were particularly memorable. Well worth the entry fee, and much less expensive than some of the other baths around the city...

We had a great time! I paid online directly with their website. I bought the family pass. We spend all day in there. There are plenty of places to eat ranging from 10 to 15 euros. If you have kids under 14, this is a better option.

There are at least 2 swimming pools for kids. I would recommend to take towels with you as there is no rental option. There are shadowy spots but not much. Find some food/ ice cream/ drinks is not a problem as there is food zone.

It’s a nice place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. This thermal bath isn’t as authentic as the other more traditional ones in Budapest. It’s more a thermal bath where the retired locals go to relax. This is also reflected in the price, as we only paid €8 (3400 huf) per person. This is a lot cheaper than the more fancy and more known thermal baths. If you just want a quiet bath which isn’t too expensive, this is the ideal place to go. We preferred the outdoor pools to the indoor thermal baths. We went on a Monday, and it was very quiet. Changing rooms and showers were very clean. Also plenty of lockers where you can safely lock up your valuables.

Cool place. Family friendly. Budget friendly. Big amount of various pools for all the tastes. Stuff is explaining and tries to help.

Phenomenal place to spend a hot day in. Lots of pools to choose from, plenty of space for relax. Hot water, warm water you name it! Highly recommend!

When we went there it's their holiday, so we pay 5500ft for the entrance fee. Individual lockers are available, just read the instructions on how to use it 😉 The place is very huge, and you'll enjoy every pool. You bring your own food but food stalls are available and they accepts card for the payment. Take note. It's better to be there earlier so you can get a comfortable beach chair or else you'll gonna use your own blanket.
