Best day of our city break was spent here, had so much fun in the jet pools and on the water slides, all ages friendly with child pools for infants and spas for older ages, shops inside for food drinks towels and anything you could need and may have forgotten, around 10€ per person to get in so extremely worth the money! highly recommend.

For the student price of 2600 I had an absolute blast with my Friend Zoltan!! Keep in mind that currently they don't have the watersides avaliable and the other facilities it's under renovation!! They just have the outdoor pool, a mini thermal area (Jacuzzi) and an indoor thermal area!! I took a few social media pics of myself swimming 🏊‍♂️ I'd definitely come back again this time once everything get settled and all the facilities are available! Nagyon Jo 😇

The Palatinus Spa, nestled on the scenic Margaret Island, is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a full day of aquatic fun. Unlike some of the other more traditional and ornate Budapest baths, this one feels very much like a modern lido, with a distinct focus on family entertainment and outdoor enjoyment. The first thing you'll notice is that the entire experience is an expansive outdoor oasis. This is a great perk, as it allows you to truly soak in the summer sun and the fresh island air. The grounds are sprawling and beautifully maintained, with large grassy areas where you can lay out your towels, picnic, or simply relax between dips in the water. It’s the perfect place to unwind and escape the concrete jungle of the city. The atmosphere is vibrant and laid-back, full of families and friends enjoying the day. The variety of pools at Palatinus is impressive. For those seeking relaxation, there are several thermal pools, and while kids are welcome on the grounds, it's worth noting that these hot pools are typically reserved for visitors over 14 years old. This provides a great opportunity for adults to unwind in the soothing mineral-rich waters. The rest of the park is a playground for all ages. There's a massive wave pool that’s a blast for everyone, as well as a large swimming pool and several pools specifically designed for young children, making it a truly family-friendly destination. For the more adventurous visitors, the slides are a major highlight. The towering slide complex offers a variety of thrilling rides, from enclosed tunnel slides that twist and turn in the dark to open, high-speed chutes. While the height requirement for the biggest slides is 150cm, they provide an adrenaline rush that older kids and adults will absolutely love. It's easy to spend an hour just trying out each one, climbing the stairs for another go. Overall, Palatinus is the perfect choice for a family or anyone looking for a full-day, outdoor spa experience. It offers a wonderful balance of laid-back relaxation in the thermal pools and high-energy fun on the slides, making it a fantastic and memorable escape from the city.

My kids voted this their favorite bath in Budapest. So many fun things for children to do, and plenty of wonderful hot baths for adults as well. The wave pool and slides were particularly memorable. Well worth the entry fee, and much less expensive than some of the other baths around the city...

We visited on August 3rd 2025 and for some reason it was not even a little bit crowded. You can see that this is not a new place but it's pretty clean and we enjoyed it. The deck chairs are free, pools huge and clean, the wave pool is awsome, you have options for food and drinks, and the massages are affordable and very nice. You can't drive there but it's easily accesible by bus 26 which stops at the entrance of the baths (the starting point for this bus is at Nyugati palyaudvar).

We had a great time! I paid online directly with their website. I bought the family pass. We spend all day in there. There are plenty of places to eat ranging from 10 to 15 euros. If you have kids under 14, this is a better option.

There was slime floating in the pools. Everything looked old and worn out. Inside, there wasn’t even a place to buy water. I needed a swimming cap and had to go all the way back to the ticket desk to buy one — even though I was already wet. Only the outdoor pools (one hot and one cold) were open. Everything else was closed — those “amazing slides” only exist in the photos. We are tourists and came a long way to visit this place — it turned out to be a complete disappointment. Also, the ticket showed the office address instead of the actual pool location — keep that in mind. Not recommended.

Cheap…but only 4 pools open, none of the fun stuff! Parking was dumb too…gotta pay at the hotel and walk 10min or catch a bus to the front. Disappointed for sure.
