Palau Central Hotel

I stayed at the property for 2 nights while visiting the area. The Wi-Fi worked Great. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets nice and soft. The canoe house bar downstairs was great for dinner & drinks. Close to a big supermarket. Breakfast was decent and nice that there was tea coffee and cookies always available downstairs. The pool is very small and when I went to use in the late afternoon there were a few bugs floating around. I think the airport ride could be a bit cheaper especially if you are going with the majority of hotel. As a solo traveler it was a hefty price. The staff is very nice and I would recommend.

This is a very good hotel located in the centre of town. The airport pickup was waiting on time, and even made a couple of runs because some passengers got stuck in the immigration process. |Very clean, high quality furnishings, exceptionally comfortable beds with soft pillows and cotton sheets. Rooms are well appointed with water, safe, tv with international channels, nice toiletries (and heated washer/dryer toilets!). The coffee machine is good for the pods but more difficult if you want boiling water for tea. However, you can make it work, and there’s also a complementary tea and coffee station with biscuits in the breakfast room. |Breakfast is included and has a wide variety of options. The small pool is nice and there is outdoor seating. |The on site Canoe restaurant is very popular and has international options plus really good local fish, and often music in the evening. They also offer a good souvenir shop next door. |The staff are helpful and friendly, and got us a driver/guide when we couldn’t get a place on a tour. Sadly the only thing they couldn’t arrange was the weather. We had torrential rain most of our stay!

I have visited Palau about a dozen times over the past decade and have stayed in numerous different hotels, including the highly overpriced and overrated PPR. My last few trips have taken me to Palau Central and this hotel is outstanding on every front: efficient and hospitable service, even before we landed with quick and attentive responses to email requests for information; excellent airport pick up and drop off service; and fantastic breakfast operations, starting at 6 AM, which is hugely beneficial for the many tourists with early pick ups for various Rock Island adventures. The rooms are beautiful, with wood floors and ample outlets for charging your devices, all immaculate and comfortable with high-quality beds, bedding, and pillows. The bathrooms are also great with bidet toilets, and separate bathtubs and showers. There is ample space for storage with an abundance of shelf space, and the servicing of the rooms is outstanding. There are mini fridges and Keurig coffee makers, and the hotel was able to provide us with decaffeinated pods for our trip. There are so many small, fine touches, and in total, these make this hotel, hands down, our absolute go-to in Palau.

I would say best hotel in Palau. Everything was 10/5. People were so nice and friendly. Service excellent. Also Hotel has restaurant and bar wich is great. Best value for a money. Location is also great everything you need is around. We move out and we book for rest of our vacation another hotel (luxury one, or it suppose to be) and it was huge mistake, money thrown away. Better next time stay just here because it is well worth it. So guys dont do same mistake. Palau central is best choice here.

Hotel location is in central Koror, with several restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Also houses the Canoe, the place to talk and meet on the island. Midsize hotel with large clean rooms, heavy furniture, and lovely retro bathtubs. Very partial bay view. Staff are superfriendly and reallly take care of you. Pool is very small and surroundings astroturfed, not that inviting. Inclusive breakfast is some of the worst I have seen, dry toast and apples and oranges as only fruit, no soy or almond milk. Given the very high price, this is very disappointing.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was at the hotel for a week and the staff was great. Super friendly and always ready to help with any of my questions. The room was clean and nice. It's a good location in town as well. Plenty of restaurants to walk to. If you are looking for a good spot in town to stay, this is it.

We booked an exceptional value package holiday recently through My Holiday staying at the Central Hotel and their sister hotel Carolines. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Zac in the Canoe House restaurant which has great food and is conveniently located within the hotel. Also special mention to Diana on reception at both Central and Carolines. Massage was included which my wife loved and rebooked with Ella.

Rating 3 ⭐️ as I am not sure this fits into a boutique hotel as the name prevails… Bed is one of the best I have ever had and was perfect for what I came to do: recover! Staff is very friendly and helpful, however, the fact that the hotel has no “affiliation” with any rental or tour guide, makes it more tricky to organize and also show lack of engagement in the local community. Everything was all very functioning in the room, tidy and clean. Outdoor is cozy and with some fake grass (!!) a pool (small) and few sun beds and outdoor games. Breakfast is on the other side very poor… maybe bad luck because of the low season, but overall very disappointing.
