We spent 6 days in Barcelona full of interesting activities. We really squeezed a lot out of the city but this was probably the best evening. Must do activity. Buy better seats and for sure buy tapas after the show, its worth every cent unlike many overpriced things in the city. From the guy who greeted us, through amazing performers, gallery staff and lovely Furiosa everyone was nice, heartly, amazing. The show itself is immersive, very interesting, perofrmers were talented and even though flamenco is not my cup of tea i loved every second of it. It gives you nice insight into spanish culture and the nature of spanish people. After the show, you leave through beautiful gallery, where tapas dinner was already waiting for us, everything prepared like we were the most important people in the game. It was super cool and worth at least double the price they ask, this should be mandatory! The food was good quality and a little bit of everything. The staff in gallery was very sweet and even though we are pretty introvert people and were the only ones with dinner we felt welcome and even had a lovely conversation. I cant recommend this place enaugh, really just go for it.

Google
Simply sensational and an absolute must-do in Barcelona. Located in a historic building in the old Born district, it’s one of the oldest flamenco venues in the city. We booked up-front seats which are in the first two rows. You can see the intense passion and focused concentration on the performer’s faces. And you can feel the powerful foot stomping/ tapping vertebrate through the stage floor. A real wow experience!

Jade H.

Google
Absolutely incredible experience. I can’t recommend this enough. You have to plan this on your next trip to Barcelona. The show is jaw dropping and so beautiful. Everyone works together to create the most beautiful performance. Please keep in mind respecting the rules set out before the show in order to get the best experience. They are very simple. I added on the tapas dinner and OMG. So happy I did! I was one of 2 parties that did it and we essentially had a private dinner in an art gallery as all other guests left. Super cool to experience and the food was yummy!

Angelique W.

Google
Great Flaminco show! Excellent venue. Staff was exceptional. We'll worth it. Go for the VIP tickets because you get right up front and can see their feet. I highly recommend. One of the best things we did in Spain!

Sheree S.

Google
If you have never seen Flamenco..like us.. buy the front row tickets and be immersed. Beautiful little bar before entry. Highly recommend as it is in the middle of gorgeous cafes, alley ways, shops.

J. R.

Google
There was so many choices to choose from and this was my first ever show. It was the most authentic beautiful the dancer the star dancer was just gorgeous. He was like a model. He was a pit me of what you think. Barcelona is the art is gorgeous and all the art is for sale and when you walk around, you just feel like you were in Barcelona the bartenders and everybody is so friendly And the drinks. Oh my God the sangria is amazing. I don’t know if you ever had a Canva, but you need one of them too it is magical here.

Google
Saw the flamenco show. I was a bit disappointed they did not explain anything about the dance - the origins, meaning, the different styles of dress, the music. Be aware VIP tickets get you seats in one of the first 3 rows, not first row.

Allan S.

Google
Get tickets ahead of time. If you get the cheaper tickets, get there early for best seating, it's first come, first served. I've never been to a flamenco show but this one was fascinating to watch. The guitarist will put you in a trance, especially when locked in with the dancers. Each dancer brings a different energy and it looks like they're having fun. Worth checking out.

Jaime-Lee B.

Yelp
Amazing flamenco experience. We went for the front row and it did not disappoint. Amazing performers who put it ALL on the dance floor.
google avatar

Rosana M.

Yelp
Terrible show. I've seen flamenco shows in Seville, Madrid and Granada and this was absolutely terrible. First show lasted barely 50 mins of which 20 were spent playing the guitar. Secondly the dancers were unfit, had no grace or skills. The male dancers did most of the show and they looked like they were going to fall off the stage. The show was dull and boring. By looking at previous reviews looks like perhaps previous dancers were better. Todays show was awful. Do not waste your money.

Erica E.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience! Lovely ambiance in the courtyard and bar waiting for the show to begin. The performers were fabulous and even our less Flamenco familiar friends thoroughly enjoyed the show. Highly recommended.

C P.

Yelp
Welcoming hostess for our last minute ticket purchase. She added some drink vouchers and invited us to relax prior to the show. The singers/dancers were so professional and really evoked emotion. Would recommend. Tip: seats in the rear are €20 cheaper and are only 10 feet behind the €50 seats. Same experience.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Show was great but they should sort out a way to have the dinner during the show , and add some tables to the theatres .we had dinner afterwards and it was delicious but , kind of weird that it was when the show ended
google avatar

Kristina C.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience. The venue was as beautiful, the sangria was as sweet and the dancers were as talented as was described. Highly recommend for an authentic taste of Flamenco dance and song. Olé!

Yelp
We ended up here from a Air BnB booking. Our show included one free drink. 9pm show. Awesome venue. Same street as the Picasso Museum. Good time. Heck what can I say. Very serious performance. No idle chitchat, or introductions. Great performance. Highly recommend. Hey you can go out every night and get tapas. You should totally check this out. It will give you something else to check out vs doing the same thing every night~

Yelp
During my recent visit to Barcelona I REALLY wanted to find a place to see flamenco that would be easy for me to access from where I was staying in the city. I found Palau Dalmases via EventBrite and make the reservation in advance to make sure I had a seat for my final night in Barcelona. Palau Dalmases is located near Museo Picasso which I had visited earlier that week so I felt very good being able to confidently navigate the crowded streets in search of my destination. When I stepped across the threshold I felt transported to a different time and place. The outer courtyard is charming and the staff was friendly and engaging. After taking little time to admire the architecture, I was shown quickly to my front row seat and provided with a complimentary drink which was a very nice touch. The lights dimmed and the show began with the musicians setting the atmosphere in the small and intimate space. The closest thing I can compare it to in my experience is an invocation of the spirit that one might experience in church. The cantaor (singer) and the tocaor (guitar player) drew me in from the start. By the time the Baile began I was lost in the experience. In this space their was a mixing and meeting of cultures that was so beautiful it reminded me that we humans are capable of coming together making something beautiful and meaningful when we set aside things that divide us. I can not compare this performance to other flamenco performances yet but I appreciate that this was my introduction. If you are looking for something that can be family friendly or if you are in it for a solo or couples experience I would recommend checking this out.

Yelp
Ran into this place by accident, so glad i did as watching Flamenco dancing was on my list of to do's in Barcelona. I give it 5 stars as i didn't find anything wrong. $25 show included a variety of drinks. ..sangria (which i chose), cava, beer...and much more. Drink was delicious! Dancers were just amazing to watch! Musicians were fabulous and the singer was. ..well let's just say i wish i had singing to me like that every day. I definitely suggest you drop in if you are in Barcelona.
google avatar

Lucia G.

Yelp
Very good & very commercialized show. In this sense, good but not so touching or real. According to my friend, most of the audiences are tourists.
google avatar

Kristine S.

Yelp
Great flamenco! So much talent and passion! The show is about an hour or so long and very intense. You get a free drink with your ticket so I opted for some delicious cava. The venue is absolutely beautiful and romantic.
google avatar

Jane K.

Yelp
This was so beautiful show. Two flamenco dancers, one singer and bands. So lovely; we can felt all energy and worth to pay 25 euro per person. They provided one complimentary drink before show starts. Highly recommended

Yelp
Everything about this is perfect. I am not a flamenco expert by any means, but I've seen performances here and there, and this one was the by far the BEST. The dancers, the singers, the musicians -- they were all oozing emotion and passion. I was riveted. I wanted to record the whole thing, but I felt like I would disturb those around me. The parts I did get on my phone were lost when I was mugged after (terrible, I know...). I emailed about tickets in the morning and got a prompt response saying I had a reservation. The place is a little nondescript, but it's behind this huge, old door. When we walked in, there was no one in front, so we made our way through the patio area and into the seating area, along with some others. I guess this was wrong, because a man made us all walk back to the front. When there, he started helping others at the door first, which was annoying, since we had gotten there before them. Their credit card machine was also not working, so we had to pay cash. One group had to leave to find an atm. Still, it was an amazing performance at a steal of a price! It would have been the perfect end to an evening if we hadn't gotten attacked on the way back to our apartment. Everyone should check it out, and I just recommended it to a guy at my climbing gym who's visiting in a few weeks.

Kevin K.

Yelp
This was an exceptionally authentic experience that gave me a glimpse of flamenco culture complete with guitar, singing, and dancing. Flamenco is like blues music, and the intimate venue inside the gothic quarter really helped accentuate what this music means for people. The 1-hour performance here was one of my favorite experiences in Barcelona - it flew by and I highly recommend it! Not sure if the performers rotate, but the 2 dancers and 3 musicians (incl 1 singer) really looked like they were enjoying themselves, were actively encouraging each other on challenging pieces, and appeared serious about their craft. Snobs will say flamenco should only be enjoyed in Andalucia, but this is probably as good as it gets if you're a tourist visiting Barcelona for a short trip. Don't mind the odd eventbrite page with bad English translations, booking early could mean sitting a foot away from the stage and that was an awesome experience for us!

Yelp
I happened to walk by this venue in the neighborhood and was struck by the beautiful building it's housed within. I looked up the show when I got back to my hotel and saw that many of the shows were sold out (in early January, not necessarily tourist season) so I hoped that it meant it was good and not overtly touristy. It exceeded my expectations! Granted I'm already a fan of flamenco music, but the performance's intensity brought tears to my eyes. I did not expect that! Despite the fact that there were young children in the crowd and the woman next to me kept checking her email on her phone, the power of the music eclipsed those things that would have otherwise been annoyances. You would never suspect the how often the musicians and dancers performed (several shows a day/week) because they were fantastic.

Paul W.

Yelp
I've never seen Flamenco and/or Spanish guitar love before but this totally surpassed all of my expectations! The talent level of the dancers, the singers AND the guitar player were so impressive I was awe struck. 25€ without reservations which includes a drink and 20€ with but so worth every penny (I mean euro ;) The venue itself is a beautiful old building which sets a great mood and you jut become immersed into this whole experience, could not recommend enough!

Yelp
While visiting here in BCN, I was really set on wanting to see a flamenco show. Our tour guide suggested Palau Dalmases as a nice place to see a great show for a reasonable price off the beaten path. We tried to get info ahead of time on their website about purchasing tickets, but it didn't provide any details, so we just decided to head down there and give it a shot. We arrived just in time for the 9:30 show and found the large, heavy wooden doors propped open and someone inside greeting guests. The feeling here is so unique. Very warm and homey, while still providing an authentic environment for the flamenco show. We headed up to the bar and ordered a glass of wine (included with the 20 euro fee for entry) and took a seat in the back row. There is a very intimate feeling here as it only fits about 20 to 30 guests at most. The show started a few minutes after 9:30 and was an hour of pure bliss for me. The dancers, singer and instrument players were so full of passion and emotion, it was really quite a moving experience. They continued to provide more than just entertainment, but also a journey into another world while watching them perform. I have just spent my last year of undergrad studies in college specifically researching about flamenco and dance in Spain, so for me it's a very exciting cultural aspect that fills me with joy and happiness. This show delivered 110%. It seemed as though the hour flew by more and when they were suddenly finished all i could think of was "I WANT MORE!!". I don't know how the time went by so quickly, all i know is I probably had a doofy smile stuck on my face the entire time as I could not contain my excitement! Seriously, absolutely one of the best attractions I have been to in Europe thus far. So moving, so exciting, so passionate. Hard to describe in words. Just do yourself a favor and go see it already!
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
If you're visiting Barcelona this is a very authentic flamingo show that you must see in the Gothic district!
google avatar

Arash G.

Yelp
Great performance, I wish it was a little longer! The only downside is that they don't accept credit card! It's totally worth the time and money!
google avatar

Mahina W.

Yelp
So glad I found this flamenco place on Yelp! Came on a Monday night a little before 6PM to buy tickets for the 730PM show but turns out there is an additional show at 6PM that is not on their website. The third option is 9:30PM. The location is very close to the Picasso Museum but across the street. The show a great sample of flamenco with live music. The live music included a guitarist, percussionist on drums, and a vocalist - each had a chance to solo to show off their skills. There were two flamenco dancers. Both the man and woman danced with such fervor and gusto but I especially liked the man! Spanish men seem to have so much passion. His facial expressions and concentration added to his personality and performance. Bravo to every single performer! On a side note, the Yelp page says 20 euros for the show and drink but they changed the price to 25 euros in March 2015..still an amazing deal! You can book online for a small processing fee but when it's very easy to stop by or just buy tickets at the door.
google avatar

Hannah P.

Yelp
An absolutely wonderful way to spend an evening in Barcelona. A wonderful venue, with a cozy atmosphere really makes you feel like you're in the performance. The tickets are a great value and include a drink. Highly recommend! It's right near the Picasso museum.
google avatar

April A.

Yelp
Very cute and small place to enjoy some Flamenco. It was a little too short for the price. Definitely the dancers deserve a 5 star, the ambiance also deserve a 5 star. Overall is was a 3 for me. I would like to go to one of those dinner/show next time.
google avatar

G H.

Yelp
Show was good it was an hour long. Good music and singing. They put pasdion in the dance. Reasonable price and small intimate venue. Sangrias were delicious.
google avatar

Armando P.

Yelp
I'll admit that I was skeptical to attend, but after much convincing by the wife, I attended with an open mind. And let me just say, if you're considering going, JUST GO. Don't hesitate, GO. It's a phenomenal show, with a very talented and passionate group.
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
Found this place on yelp and it was exactly what I was looking for. When my boyfriend and I were visiting Barcelona we wanted to catch a flamenco show, but didn't want something super long or formal. This is located in the gothic quarter and is a great taste of the culture Barcelona has to offer without being too much. We came before dinner and had our 2 drinks that came with the ticket. It was a great experience and just what I was hoping it'd be!
google avatar

Ran H.

Yelp
Great show!! It was an entire hour filled with 50/50 singing and dancing. Make sure you purchase tickets online beforehand because they sell out quickly. They also have assigned seating which means you don't have to come early to snatch good seats. Price was $25euro with an included drink. The only thing that did not exceed my expectations was that there were only two dancers, who took turns performing solos. I wouldve wanted to see a larger group of dancers. Maybe this is more authentic?
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Outstanding show. Performers - dancers, singer and guitar player - all so incredibly talented. Drink included with ticket was a nice touch and the Palau was absolutely picturesque. The neighborhood it's in is also awesome so going to the show before or after dinner works so well!

Ken I.

Yelp
Amazing venue and show. The sounds reverberated off the walls in thunderous sound as the flamenco dancers danced and the performers played their instruments and sang.
google avatar

April S.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a flamenco show! This show was filled with tourists so if you're looking for something more for locals you might want to search further. Staff was friendly and entertaining and tickets at a decent price.
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
What a great show. Loved the venue, entertainment and energy the flamenco dancers provided. I highly recommend going to this show when in Barcelona. Awesome.

Yelp
Palau Dalmases is one of the most touristy streets in Barcelona's Born district, yet you know almost immediately that not many tourists come here. It's a fantastic place to take visitors or to try out yourself if you're in the mood for something special and enjoying a drink before heading out elsewhere or just calling it a night. This is definitely NOT a typical bar and the seating and arrangements do not suggest "hangout" at all - I would recommend this place for couples or a small group of couples and for people in their late 20s and up. People sometimes call this place a bit pretentious - but I feel like that's making it something it's not. It's sort of a small and intimate music lounge in someone's home - definitely not the same type of vibe as its surrounding neighborhood, but that's what makes it special. Getting there - it's on Montcada down the street from the Picasso museum but closer to Paseo del Born, hidden behind two giant wooden doors. When open, one door is usually slightly ajar - you can knock or gently push it in and you will be greeted by a lovely older gentleman who will direct you into the palace's main rooms. The palace is Baroque and was once the residence of the Dalmases family and has kept its earlier grandeur and you really feel like you are stepping into their home. You can sit in a variety of rooms, each one decorated with antiques, sculptures, beautiful tapestries... the list can go on. You can choose your area and it's great for an intimate gathering - I've always come with couples, but this would also be a great date spot. Drinks are a little pricier - I think it's almost 10 euros for a heavy handed mixed cocktail, but like I said, this is a place to enjoy A drink, not many. On Thursday nights, the palace invites opera singers to come to the lounge to sing arias - and THAT is truly impressive and one of my favorite experiences ever. They sing right in the main room and you can enjoy a cocktail feeling like you're living the royal life.

E F.

Yelp
As Foreign visitors we decided to go based on the very positive reviews and to experience an opportunity to see flamenco. Arrived early and they assign seating based upon your arrival, so had great seats. You enter a court yard and then go in to a smaller, intimate setting which is attractive. Your ticket includes a drink which you need to go up to the bar to get. Our show consisted of two parts with a short, 5-minute intermission. Two males and three females. One male played a guitar and the other a percussion instrument. One woman sang and the other two danced. The two dancers both had facial expressions of anger rather than enjoyment. Perhaps this is normal for this type of dance? I have a mental image of it being more sensual and even seductive. For spectators not familiar with the flamenco it would have helped tremendously if there had been an introduction and explanation and education it would have been great. Approximately one hour performance.

Belinda N.

Yelp
Loved the venue and the show. They were so talented and intense. It was to my surprise the highlight for my husband of our entire trip to Barcelona. I would like to go back at my next opportunity
google avatar

Alissa D.

Yelp
I'd see this every night!! Very moving & love that it's an intimate setting. The highlight of our trip for sure!! The singer & the dancers performed with so much passion on their faces... just go!! You won't regret it!!!
google avatar

Chuck C.

Yelp
This place felt like a dream Walking in past the giant wooden doors, you'll find yourself in a little courtyard, surrounded by amazing architecture, and if it's night, some awesome lighting. It's like you're transported to a different time, and I loved every second of it. But why are you in this little time warp? you must be here for more than a cocktail and a view right? Oh yes. You're here for flamenco. They have rotating members passing through on a regular basis; what this means in short, is that the guitar player might not know the singer, who might not know the dancers, who probably don't know the drummer. got it? The show you see one night is the first and only time that show has ever happened, or ever will happen. My main advice to you, is to get there the night before you want to see the show, and reserve tickets for the front row. We did just that, and we were rewarded with an experience I am sure we will never forget. In fact, it was so good, we reserved our seats for the next night, and caught a very different show. Prices were 40$ per person, and that included one drink. Absolutely worth every penny - you're not in the south of Spain where flamenco comes from, but you'd never know it walking into this place. A defining experience for me in Spain, you have to give this a shot - even if you're not into dancing.
google avatar

Kaitlin H.

Yelp
One of the highlights during my stay in Barcelona! The price was inexpensive compared to the other flamenco shows in the area. It was about an hour long, and enticing the entire time. The building is beautiful and right in the Gothic Quarter. One drink is included with the show ticket, and additional are available for purchase. I recommend bringing cash if you plan to buy extra drinks. Arrive early - we had a tourist group show up late the the performance and it was very distracting.
google avatar

Laurice S.

Yelp
The vibe in this venue is so chic and sexy. The atmosphere is so cool and has an intimate feel to it. We were here for a private show b/c my cousin was getting married in Barcelona. The space is dimly lit and has sort of a cabaret theatre feel (idk how else to describe it). The terrace area was beautiful and has amazing details in the architecture. There's also a bar inside with tons of liquor and beer options. We had the benefit of open bar. The performances were amazing, the women looked like they were possibly a mother/daughter duo but don't let that fool you, the more experienced woman did not let down at all. The musicians were talented and a lot of guests in our party even bought their CD. You feel entranced by the music and artistry of the dancers, it really is captivating. I would go back if I could!
google avatar

Nikhita T.

Yelp
Excellent flamenco show with talented and passionate performers! This was certainly a memorable highlight from our trip to Barcelona!
google avatar

Kayla G.

Yelp
I've been twice!!! Once last year, and again this year. Each time there were different musicians and different dancers!!! And that didn't matter, both experiences were outstanding!!! I look forward to my next visit! Love love loved the passion of their performances!!!
google avatar

Sean D.

Yelp
This is the one to go to, don't hesitate if you're reading this. I've been to several Flamenco performances and this was by far the best in terms of ambience, value for the cost, and quality of the music and dance performers. We were on our feet for standing ovations several times.. I would not only recommend this place but come back here again next time I'm in Barcelona to share it with the rest of my family and friends.
google avatar

Estela D.

Yelp
This was a great experience, you start by going in to this beautiful building, the attention that you receive from the people that work at Palau Dalmases is great they are friendly and very helpful. The flamenco show was amazing, the musicians where so great and singed with so much passion that it transports you in to the story they are telling, and the dancers are simply wonderful, they dance with passion and character that overall is an excellent performance. The experience as a whole is so worth it, for 20 euros per person one hour of show and you get a drink of choice. Excelente espectáculo! Los músicos y bailarines dan un espectáculo lleno de pasión y energía, que te transportan a la historia que están contando. Muy recomendable.
google avatar

Lisette H.

Yelp
Saw a flamenco show here! Nice ambience , intimate setting and great price! You experience the culture without wasting an arm and a leg for a show. Did it as part of a wine / tapa tasting tour , and a free drink was included with show! Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Josie C.

Yelp
The price, setting, and performance were great! The show is the perfect amount of time. I liked how spacious it was and the decor added to the performance. I used my free drink ticket for a glass of Cava and would recommend checking out this show!
google avatar

Amy O.

Yelp
What a beautiful space for authentic Flamenco. Great value, great dancing, great musicians. This intimate setting is much more preferable than watching in a big theater. Highly recommend
google avatar

Darryl K.

Yelp
Very cool little venue. Performance was professionally done. Setting is lovely. The 25 euro per person ticket, included a glass of wine. Show lasts an hour and was entertaining. I recommend this place.
google avatar

Cari C.

Yelp
Heart - pounding, soul-nourishing, body - thumping passion in an intimate, historic setting. This is Barcelona at its flamenco finest!
google avatar

Teresa B.

Yelp
Wonderful Flamenco experience! $25 per person, drink included. I highly recommend to anybody visiting Barcelona. Beautiful rustic, dark lit ambiance. Near the Picasso Museum as well as many bars, restaurants and shops.
google avatar

Bernard M.

Yelp
I bought tickets online for this show and the 20 euros per person was a DEAL compared what we were in for. This Flamenco show was simply powerful and the environment very intimate and fun. Each patron is given a highball or wine drink which we found fairly strong and everyone we met there shared the same breath-taking experience that we had. Normally, I am not really big into performances of this nature, but this was awesome and I would definitely do it again.
google avatar

Ira B.

Yelp
Outstanding. This was a real highlight of our week-long trip to Barcelona. The beautiful baroque venue, the stunning performances ... what's not to like? I strongly recommend this flamenco experience to everyone. It felt and sounded authentic, passionate and intimate. Love, love, loved it.
