14 Best Museums in Barcelona | Condé Nast Traveler

"Palau Robert occupies one of the most covetable real-estate spots in town. Its owner was Robert Robert i Surís, a financier-cum-social-influencer who designed the property as his family home. An exhibition space today, the Palau hosts temporary shows of video, paintings, and photography, and has a garden and concert hall." - Gemma Askham

Visited mid July and LOVED the Simbiopolis exhibition that explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence in our current and future lives. Also touched on global warming and robotics. Fascinating, non-political, thought-provoking. The Palace itself is beautiful and the toilets there are great and clean. Was there on Saturday midday and there were around 10 people total in the museum. Very quiet.

An important experience to learn about the four main applications of robots in education, health, and personal care. Another application is augmented reality at an emotional level. Very attentive staff in several languages, creating an optimal experience.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to see the free exhibition “Simbopolis”. Free entry, no lines, beautiful gardens. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth the visit.

Horrible staff ! They don’t like to work just a bunch useless and lazy people who have zero professionalism. When you see people coming to the museum as the staff you should be there to Hi and invite them to try the and see everything and explain to visitors what is this exhibition all about in all 3 languages ( Catalan, Spanish and English) none of them could explain the exhibition in English, the Virtual glasses were there just for decoration and the robot doesn’t function. If I was the artist of the exhibition I would be extremely upset never witness to be honest such a disgrace group of people.

Best free hidden gem in Barcelona! They constantly change the exhibitions and they’re always very interesting! An unforgettable experience that you can enjoy repeating as a local.

Expo on Metro Barcelona with videos and quizzes in Spanish, Catalan and English, expo on Hospital de Hebron? 70th anniversary- educative for all generations, plus - before you enter - in the passage- read about the courage of women in and around Syria organizing their forces to fight for their freedom.

Yelp
I came across this exhibition space by accident. There's a nice garden outside it, and I stopped there to sit and noticed signs for their current exhibit "Ferran Adria & elBulli: Risk, Freedom & Creativity". The main exhibition space on the 2nd floor is a decent size and this particular show is great, especially for anyone who loves food! They had photos, old menus, etc. from El Bulli. Downstairs, there are 2 smaller galleries. One exhibit was about the Catalan media, but there was no English or Spanish, so I didn't really understand what it was about. They had another exhibit about Catalan composer Xavier Montsalvatge which had English panels and stations where you could listen to his recordings. Best of all, it's totally free! I didn't see this place mentioned in any travel guides, so I'm glad I found it. It was not crowded at all. A nice escape from the crowds at the bigger museums.

Yelp
Awesome place very different a good place to see when trying to kill time for a few minutes while exploring. It's not long but still cold to experience.

Yelp
Nice and small exhibition of two very cool topics, "Love Me" and "Consumption". Each exhibitions have two rooms with more or less 7 expressive pictures per room. So its for free and everyone who is interested in photography (like me) has to go there. Its open every day.
